• Meteor Mash is Mega Metagross's most powerful STAB Steel-type move and lets it hit threats super effectively like Kyurem-B, Mega Gardevoir, and Mega Tyranitar, and also breaks through many neutral threats like Mega Mawile, Meloetta, and Mega Venusaur.
• Bullet Punch is a semi-powerful priority move that can help sweep up already damaged Pokemon like Choice Specs Greninja, offensive Mega Mawile if you are lacking Substitute, Magnezone if running Earthquake, and Choice Scarf Dragonite.
• Thunder Punch can cover Water-types like Mega Gyarados, Choice Specs Greninja, Manaphy, and Mega Blastoise.
• Substitute can eliminate mindgames against Mega Mawile's Metal Burst or Sucker Punch, and catch Counter users like Mega Tyranitar, Sawk, Crustle, and Golem off guard.
• Earthquake gives Mega Metagross a good shot against opposing Mega Metagross, Magnezone, Jirachi, and Empoleon.
