Welcome to OM Swiss II!

Tournament Rules:
  • General tournament rules and regulations.
  • 2022 OM Circuit information.
  • The banlists for this tournament are the same as the ladder of each format of the Smogon University server of Pokemon Showdown.
  • Two stages
    • Stage 1:
      • Swiss-style
      • Each week is a best-of-3 of a different metagame randomly decided by !pick (listed later in this post)
      • All players with a non-negative record after the 6th week (3-3, 3-2, 3-1, or 3-0) move onto Stage 2
    • Stage 2:
      • Best-of-5 non-seeded single elimination
      • First game of each week chosen by !pick, all following games picked by the loser of the previous game
      • You only earn points for the circuit from this stage of the tournament
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • Battles must take place on Pokemon Showdown!.
  • Sw/Sh cartridge win conditions are in place; there are no ties.
  • Replays are required.

Week 3: NFE
Week 4: STABmons
Week 5: Balanced Hackmons
Week 6: Mix and Mega

Bidoof Princess  vs  SpeedyBlu - i never bet against THE premier other meowtagames player
Lily  vs  zioziotrip - lily is baller asf but i don't know if she's ever played aaa? while zio did win aaa seasonal so he has experience (aaa has a high learning curve)
Crunchman  vs  Clastia - there are no winners in this mu
Career Ended  vs  abriel - career is trying to grind for om champs so i think he'll put in effort
Andyboy  vs  Fc - andy has more experience in aaa and will snatch teams from someone good
WMAR  vs  Ivar57
PandaDoux  vs  martinvtran
TTTech  vs  Eledyr - i think eledyr is good? unfortunately idt they have played aaa so ill go with tech
Dragonillis  vs  Instruct - drago has more experience + likely will bring better teams
beauts  vs  Axzel - me obv
Kabilapok  vs  Nultiprise - 50/50 either way most likely but this is a cute mu
Ducky  vs  Tanny89k - i would like for ducky to win but he will likely get cheesed by stall or smth
UT vs avyrie - honestly i think this is a tossup. i think UT is a more consistent player but avyrie's playing peaks are much higher. will be fun! def the highlight game for me

I don't know how 2 play pokemon well but Kris is excited so I will try in as sub
