Upcoming roomtour nights will be advertised in this thread, and a timetable of upcoming events can also be found in the post below. All results of Roomtour nights will be posted by the hosts in this thread. Every day, Tour Nights will flip from a day phase (morning) to night phase (night) due to timezones and flexibility in hosting. The timeframes for tournaments are (8:00 AM - 4 PM) & (7:00 PM - 10:00 PM). Hosts can participate.

During the process of a CCAT, the host guides the community through the process of building a team. Users involved will work together step-by-step to decide the team's build, pick teammates to support the core, and flesh out sets. Finished teams will be posted in this thread and gathered in the post below, alongside a brief description of the team-building process. CCATs will be hosted on a week-to-week basis and you must have approval from Corthius to host. Users will comment in the chat about a Pokemon they would like to build around and momentarily, a poll will be made to determine the choice!
Here are some general guidelines regarding CCATs:
- Every CCAT will centre team-building around a specific idea––a core, a set, or an archetype––which has already been selected in this thread. Do not argue or appeal this idea during discussion. You may use this thread as a place to suggest cores or ideas for an upcoming CCAT.
- Suggestions for the team should be thoughtful. Remember that the purpose of the CCAT project is to build teams that are viable in the metagame. Creative and unconventional ideas are welcome and should be discussed.
- When discussing a Pokemon, consider it both individually and in the larger context of the team. What role does it fill? How does it support the team? What support does it itself need?
- Be prepared to make many revisions to the team over the course of the CCAT. Adjustments to movesets, EVs, or entire teamslots will be common at each stage of team-building.
- Remember, discussion should, first and foremost, be civil and respectful. Flaming, shitposting, and hostility will not be tolerated.
NU Teambats
Hosted and written by Aawin / Adapted from Disjunction and quziel thread format
Teambats Schedule
In teambats, participants are separated into, well, teams, and go head-to-head under specific circumstances. The teams are given time to build (would probably be around 20-30 mins, but that can change given the restrictions). Teams are encouraged to cooperate within their teams, and can even cooperate in battle, a la Yoshi. Teambats should be played in a Bo1 format
Who can host? Anyone can host a teambat, just as long as they get permission from a driver or higher! (%, @, #)
Rules
- Stay within your own chat bubble
- No TMZ type shit (leaking)
- Don't be a douche to the other players, have respect and courtesy before, after, and during a teambat
- Follow the rules of the teambat for the specific theme/week
- Don't take this too seriously, issa game, we're all here to have a fun time
These rules are general guidelines, in the event of a failure to comply or have repeated offenses, you could face a suspension / ban from teambats :P
Liar's Rule: You must announce your move before every turn (alternating between announcing first and second), however you get 3 lies (credit to alamaster)
Pick: Every turn you must !pick between switching out and attacking (you can choose what to go out to, and what attack to use)
Past Generations
Always hittin: No moves with less than 100% accuracy
Lucky and Bad: Only moves with less than 100% accuracy moves, no healing
Color-Blind: You can only use mons of one specific color (use !pick)
Not Fully Evolved: the teams are given a random LC/NFE mon, and have to build with it, one reroll allowed per team if requested
Random OM battles (Inverse, Stabmons, etc.)
EVless: Each team gets 1536 (256*6) evs to spend, good luck
Fuck STAB: self explanatory, no STAB moves allowed
Random bad RU / NUBL mons
16 moves per team
Tortoise vs Hare: one team only gets mons over 75 speed, one team only gets mons below 75 speed.
'Join the ranks': Team must consist of 6 different ranks, S-ranks excluded. So a team should like an A+ mon, an A mon, an A- mon, a B+ mon, a B mon and a B- mon. Teams can use C-ranked mons too as long as each mon is ranked differently.
Ballin on a Budget (FKA Money Mitch): A certain amount of money is given to teams, and the VR determines their price (S-ranks being the most expensive, C- being least expensive)
Letter Something Idk: Pokemon on the team must have the first letter of the team members, ex: team of Aawin, Pokeslice, Corthius must have one pokemon that starts with A, one with P, and another with C (credits to Corthius)
5MS- 2 Pokemon on each team can have a 5th moveslot
Pick: Every turn you must !pick between switching out and attacking (you can choose what to go out to, and what attack to use)

On-site games
Many mini-games such as Hangman, Trivia, Blackjack, Uno, Brain Teasers, and even Mafia have or can be hosted. These games aren't the main focus of the room so that means they should not run back-to-back. However, Hangman and Trivia can be adjusted to be SWSH NU-related by the room staff allowing it to run more than other on-site games. We don't have a schedule for on-site games
If you have any questions about any of the events, or would like to host, feel free to message me or xerovis on Discord: (roxiee#1897) & (xerovis#0868) or contact any roomstaff on the NU Discord! Thanks!
