Hydreigon's solid defensive profile and decent Speed tier make it an effective wallbreaker with Nasty Plot, giving it ample opportunities to set up against the likes of Aegislash, Slowbro, and Rotom-W. Dark Pulse, when boosted by Darkinium Z, allows Hydreigon to overwhelm many specially defensive Pokemon after a boost, such as Toxapex and defensive Celesteela barring Protect. Flash Cannon allows Hydreigon to hit Clefable, Enamorus, and Mega Altaria super effectively, potentially OHKOing non-Unaware variants of the former after a boost while OHKOing the latter after Stealth Rock. Alternatively, Earth Power in conjunction with Groundium Z allows Hydreigon to put more immediate pressure onto the likes of Iron Hands, Mega Tyranitar, and Tapu Fini at +2; it also scores an immediate OHKO on Iron Moth without the need to burn its Z-Crystal. Roost allows Hydreigon to offset status damage from Hippowdon and Toxapex, keeping it healthy enough throughout the game to repeatedly bombard the opposition. However, Substitute in conjunction with Leftovers allows Hydreigon to set up safely on the likes of defensive Pokemon that can't touch it, such as Hippowdon, Slowking, and Skeledirge. Hydreigon fits best on bulkier teams that appreciate its unique mix of defensive utility and offensive firepower. Defensive staples such as Clefable, Toxapex, and SubToxic Aegislash are all sufficient at pivoting into Fairy- and Fighting-types that Hydreigon may have a hard time playing around, such as Enamorus, Galarian Zapdos, and Buzzwole. The former two also have access to utility moves such as Knock Off that can help wear down some of Hydreigon's checks long-term, like defensive Celesteela, Ting-Lu, and Tapu Fini. Hydreigon is easily revenge killed by faster threats such as Alakazam, Latios, and Keldeo, making additional defensive partners that can respond to these Pokemon, such as Gastrodon, Assault Vest Tangrowth, and Slowking extremely valuable, letting Hydreigon maximize its wallbreaking efforts despite the presence of these Pokemon. Additionally, pivoting support from the likes of Iron Moth, Scizor, and the aforementioned Slowking can aid Hydreigon in finding safe entry against many of its defensive targets, preventing it from being worn down or threatened by potential coverage options and status that would otherwise be aimed at it, such as Close Combat from Aegislash or Thunder Wave from Rotom-W.

Btw what do you think about slashing Substitute? Pretty good against defensive builds overall, can avoid status, setup against Hippo/Rotom/Gastro and punishes Steela going for Leech Seed (basically forcing it to use Heavy Slam instead of Protect next turn)

Hydreigon's solid defensive traits, access to Nasty Plot, and decent Speed tier make it an effective wallbreaker in the tier. Giving it ample opportunity to setup against the likes of Aegislash, Slowbro, and Rotom-Wash. Dark Pulse, boosted by Darkinium Z, allows Hydreigon to overwhelm many specially defensive Pokemon after a boost, such as Blissey (even +2 Z does really low damage and Blissey can just TP out and bring something to kill drei, would put Toxapex or AV Tang here tbh) and defensive Celesteela barring Protect. Flash Cannon allows Hydreigon to fit hit Clefable, Enamorus, and Mega Altaria super effectively, potentially OHKOing non-Unaware variants of the former, while OHKOing the latter after Stealth Rock. Alternatively, Earth Power, in conjunction with Groundium Z allows Hydreigon to put more immediate pressure onto the likes of Iron Hands, Mega Tyranitar, and Tapu Fini at +2 (might be worth adding clef here as well because she always dies to +2 Tectonic). It also scores an immediate OHKO on Iron Moth without the need to burn its Z-Crystal. Roost allows Hydreigon to offset status from Hippowdon and Toxapex, keeping it healthy enough throughout the game to repeatedly bombard the opposition. Hydreigon fits best on bulkier teams that appreciate its unique mix of defensive utility and offensive firepower. Defensive staples such as Clefable, Toxapex, and SubToxic Aegislash are each sufficient at pivoting into Fairy- and Fighting-types that Hydreigon may have a hard time playing around, such as Enamorus, Galarian Zapdos, and Buzzwole. The latter former two also have access to utility moves such as Knock Off that can help wear some of Hydreigon's checks long-term, like defensive Celesteela and Tapu Fini. Hydreigon is easily revenge killed by faster threats such as Cinderace, Latios, and Keldeo, making additional defensive partners that can respond to these Pokemon, such as Gastrodon, Assault Vest Tangrowth, and Slowking extremely valuable. (ok but what Hydreigon does for them in return?) Additionally, pivoting support from the likes of Cinderace, Scizor, and the aforementioned Slowking can aid Hydreigon in finding safe opportunities against many of its defensive targets, while preventing Hydreigon from being unnecessarily worn down or threatened by potential coverage options otherwise aimed at it, such as Close Combat from Aegislash or Thunder Wave from Rotom-Wash.
(im a little confused here, how exactly Ace or Scizor can prevent Hydreigon from being threatened by Close Combat from Aegi or Twave from Rotom? isn't better to just make a separate section about how Pex or Gastro can scout these moves?)

Also write a quick paragraph of some partners to deal with Ting-Lu, the guy completely shuts down drei unfort

Hydreigon's solid defensive traits profile ("traits" would suggest you're giving examples afterward. "Profile is more common to use in this context)(RC) access to Nasty Plot, and decent Speed tier make it an effective wallbreaker with Nasty Plot in the tier(RP),(AC) Giving giving (had to restructure a fair bit since having the "opportunity" part as its own sentence didn't make sense) it ample opportunity opportunities to set (AS)up against the likes of Aegislash, Slowbro, and Rotom-W. Dark Pulse, when boosted by Darkinium Z, allows Hydreigon to overwhelm many specially defensive Pokemon after a boost, such as Toxapex and defensive Celesteela barring lacking Protect. Flash Cannon allows Hydreigon to hit Clefable, Enamorus, and Mega Altaria super effectively, potentially OHKOing non-Unaware variants of the former after a boost(RC) while OHKOing the latter after Stealth Rock. Alternatively, Earth Power(RC) in conjunction with Groundium Z allows Hydreigon to put more immediate pressure onto the likes of Iron Hands, Mega Tyranitar, and Tapu Fini at +2(RP);(ASC) It it also scores an immediate OHKO on Iron Moth without the need to burn its Z-Crystal. Defensive staples such as Clefable, Toxapex, and SubToxic Aegislash are each all sufficient ("sufficient" isn't really something you use as a compliment, it's similar to "good enough". Perhaps "proficient" would fit better since you're actively trying to recommend them to readers?) at pivoting into Fairy- and Fighting-types that Hydreigon may have a hard time playing around, such as Enamorus, Galarian Zapdos, and Buzzwole. Additionally, pivoting support from the likes of Cinderace, Scizor, and the aforementioned Slowking can aid Hydreigon in finding safe entry against many of its defensive targets, preventing it from being worn down or threatened by potential coverage options and status that would otherwise be aimed at it (need to specify since you use Twave as an example. CC is a coverage option, TW is status), such as Close Combat from Aegislash or Thunder Wave from Rotom-W.
