Manaphy with its good all around stats and excellent defensive typing in conjunction with fantastic moves in Scald, Knock Off, and U-turn makes for one of the premier RegenVest users that is able to check Gholdengo, Iron Moth, Walking Wake, and Magic Guard Heatran. Ice Beam can be used to hit Dragonite, Kommo-o, and Desolate Land Landorus, while Take Heart can be used to make Manaphy a late game setup threat as well as curing any status if its Assault Vest is removed by Knock Off. 0 Speed IVs and a Sassy nature ensure that Manaphy can slow pivot against opposing Manaphy, providing safer entry for its teammates. An alternative EV Spread of 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD with a Relaxed nature can also be used to better check physical threats like Dragonite, Roaring Moon, and Great Tusk while still maintaining solid special bulk with an Assault Vest. Physically defensive walls like Mandibuzz, Corviknight, and defensive Zapdos appreciate Manaphy being able to soak up special hits and allowing them to wall more easily thanks to Scald + Knock Off. Frail offensive wallbreakers like Gengar, Roaring Moon, and Barraskewda are also good teammates, as Manaphy can give them safe entry with slow U-turn along with crippling walls with Scald and Knock Off, thus making it easier for them to clean through teams. Manaphy is vulnerable to Electric-type users like Thundurus, Sandy Shocks, and Regieleki, so it is recommended to pair it with an Electric-immunity like Volt Absorb Mandibuzz or Ground-types like Great Tusk and Garchomp. Manaphy can also be easily weakened by entry hazards, so it is advised to pair it with reliable hazard removers like Corviknight and Great Tusk.

Manaphy with its good all around stats and excellent defensive typing in conjunction with fantastic moves in Scald, Knock Off, and U-turn makes for one of the premier Regenerator + Assault Vest users that is able to check Azelf specs azelf 2hkoes after rocks, scarf can take away its item and can 2hko it after rocks so its a sketchy MU. you could instead use something like volcanion? but it's up to you, Iron Moth, and Walking Wake. Ice Beam can be used to hit Dragonite, Kommo-o, and Desolate Land Landorus, while Take Heart can be used to make Manaphy a late game setup threat as well as cure any status if it gets its Assault Vest knocked off. The 0 Speed IVs are to ensure that Manaphy can slow pivot, providing safer entry for its teammates. An alternative EV Spread of 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD with a relaxed nature can also be used to better check physical threats like Dragonite, Roaring Moon, and Great Tusk while still maintaining solid special bulk with an Assault Vest. Physically defensive walls like Mandibuzz, Intimidate Corviknight, and Fluffy defensive Zapdos appreciate Manaphy being able to soak up special hits and allowing them to wall more easily thanks to Scald + Knock Off. Frail offensive breakers like Gengar, Roaring Moon, and Barraskewda are also good teammates as Manaphy can give them safe entry with slow U-turn along with crippling walls with Knock Off, thus making it easier for them to clean through teams. Manaphy is vulnerable to Electric-type users like both formes of Thundurus-I this implies that manaphy doesnt lose to -t, Gengar, and Regieleki, so it is recommended that Manaphy is paired with an Electric-immunity like Volt Absorb Mandibuzz or Ground-types like Great Tusk and Garchomp. Manaphy can also be prone to entry hazards, so it is advised to pair it with reliable hazard removers like Corviknight and Great Tusk.

Manaphy is vulnerable to Electric-type users like both forms Thundurus i feel like its implied you lose to both forms already, but your call, Gengar Sandy Shocks Gengar doesnt always run tbolt, making shocks more important to mention imo, and Regieleki, so it is recommended that Manaphy is paired with an Electric-immunity like Volt Absorb Mandibuzz or Ground-types like Great Tusk and Garchomp. Manaphy can also be prone to entry hazards, so it is advised to pair it with reliable hazard removers like Corviknight and Great Tusk.
