Thwackey @ Eviolite
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Grassy Glide
- Knock Off
- U-turn

Thwackey's ability in Grassy Surge allows it to be a threatening sweeper in the NFE metagame. Thwackey finds opportunities to set up with Swords Dance against passive Pokemon such as Mareanie and defensive Wartortle and can break with Grassy Glide, letting it bypass faster revenge killers such as Kadabra and Galarian Linoone. Knock Off hits Pokemon like Lampent and bulky Hattrem while weakening opposing Pokemon by removing their Eviolite. Thwackey can pivot out of unfavorable matchups such as Tangela and Koffing with U-turn and bring in a teammate such as Kadabra or Gastly. Wallbreakers like Wartortle and Lampent can take advantage of Thwackey's ability to pivot out of defensive answers such as Charjabug. Pokemon such as Mareanie and Lampent make for good teammates, as they can sponge status conditions from Toxic Spikes and Will-O-Wisp, respectively, which could otherwise cripple Thwackey.

Thwackey's ability in Grassy Glide Surge and powerful priority in Grassy Glide allows it to be a threatening sweeper in the NFE metagame. Thwackey finds ample opportunity to set up with Swords Dance against many passive Pokemon mons in the tier Metagame such as Mareanie and defensive Wartortle Ferroseed (Not Drain Punch hates this mon) and then attempt to break through with Grassy Glide letting it bypass faster would be revenge killers such as Kadabra and Mr Mime Galar (Banned mon, find another example.) , alongside coverage moves such as Drain Punch or Knock Off hitting Pokemon such as Klang or Lampent. (While all of this is correct, we need to cover the set mentioned. Talk here about how Knock Off allows Thwackey to weaken threats over a long game, as well as heavily damage would be checks like Lampent and Bulky Hattrem) (Here, mention what U-Turn does for Thwackey, you will probably need to rewrite the sentence after this comment) Wallbreakers such as Wartortle and Togetic (Not a good example, try Hakamo-o or Lampent) that can take advantage of Thwackey's ability to pivot out of Pokemon it cannot deal with like Corsola Galar (SD breaks standard {doesn't run wisp}) Tangela and Charjabug make for good teammates alongside Pokemon that benefit from the effects of Grassy Terrain such as Mareanie or Lampent. (Rewrite this to include why these mons are actually good teammates, everything benefits from grassy terrain)

A lot of this needs to be changed so i want to see this again before i give it the 1/1
