Rules​

• Follow all rules listed here.​
• Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for us to make decisions for activity calls when we can actually see what went down with scheduling.​
• If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to us or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.​
• Substitutions may be made after a week as started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.​
• If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.​
• Post replays. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later. They're also required.​

SV National Dex OU : Lameflame vs TDR -also bolding lameflame due to meta familiarity and I think they'll have the advantage off matchup with better team comps

SV National Dex OU : Kyo vs pichus - I think glorious tier leader Kyo pulls this one off as they've been on fire in the current meta having a great ssnl run only having their winners bracket run stopped by yours truly

SS National Dex OU : sensei axew vs Mario34 - Going with the OG here mario used to kill it at gen8 nd

SS National Dex OU : Finchinator vs skimmythegod - I think skimmy takes this one loads like hstack or something and then finch starts a policy review thread to ban rocks from all generations

SV National Dex DOU : sir jelloton vs AIRedzone - Both great nddou players. Someone broke the NDFL record sheet but from my memory sir jelloton was a tougher opp for us especially in playoffs

SV National Dex Monotype : Sabella vs Bka Onon - Also bolding the mainer here as ive seen onion play mono a lot and has as deep knowledge of the ndmono meta.

SV National Dex OU : Separation vs Xurkiyee - Xurkiyee has been playing well lately, builds solid team structures and is also a mainer, I predict they take the W here off familiarity

SV National Dex OU : Nashrock vs pdt - I think nashrock takes this one also having put in a very good ssnl run and generally being one of the most knowledgeable svnd players, if they get the matchup right.

SV National Dex OU : yonmd vs hellom - if the question is yes or no my dude the answer is yes. Yonmd always puts out great performances in natdex.

SV National Dex OU : hi.naming is hard vs crying - havent seen crying around much in gen9 but being the natdex GOAT I have to bold

SS National Dex OU : XKH vs kDCA - Not familiar with XKH so im bolding kDCA

SS National Dex OU : Unowndragon vs Kate - Both strong players but Kate has been very consistently top tier in gen8 and also the inventor of Deo-D cheese. (Will this be the first Deo-D sweep of the tour?)

SV National Dex DOU : xqiht vs zee - zqiht is killer at natdex doubles and has the record to show it

SV National Dex Monotype : cscl vs crashy - Not super familiar with either player and its mono so im bolding crashy just off my confidence in south's lineup as I think they will take the win this week.

SV National Dex OU : LBN vs zioziotrip - Another hard matchup to pick, going to go with LBN off gut instinct as theyve always done well in natdex.

SV National Dex OU : IBerryKind vs avarice - upset pick here but I think IBerryKind is a very under rated player and has something to prove this tour.

SV National Dex OU : Elfuseon vs Luthier - I am slightly more confident in luthiers clicking skills here and I feel West will have better building support.

SV National Dex OU : delemon vs Autistic Soviet - Soviet is on fire right now in ssnl being in winners finals, although I can also see dele coming back with a vengeance after getting trash matchups all NDFL

SS National Dex OU : Weaselfie vs Meru - more 50/50 on this one, Wease bro why are you playing yourself in gen8 after putting up such good sv performances recently in the last NDLT and NDLG. Meru is definitely a more accomplished player but I trust you have a plan slotting yourself in ss, pressure is on to make my predicts look good so pls pull this off.

SS National Dex OU : Fc vs Kustavan - Definitely an easy bold for Fc here I predict they will do very well this tour despite no ubers in the format.

SV National Dex DOU : Mizuhime vs bage1 - i think bage1 will pick up the tier a lot easier especially where canada doesnt have any nd dubs mainers afaik on their subs or support, and being a current DOU circuit champ definitely helps get my auto bold.

SV National Dex Monotype : Splash vs maroon - mono is always a coin toss but I think maroon will load mono-shamone and take the W.

SV National Dex OU : feen vs ARTYMASION - i think arty's unorthodox stuff is especially potent vs an opponent who isnt as familiar with the tier. depends on how good feen's prep is.

SV National Dex OU : Oculars vs Beleth - Same as above just in reverse, oculars is difficult to prep for and idk much abt beleth

SS National Dex OU : Batzi vs dunoks - This is super close but I also rate dunoks highly so I think they can take this one, altho asia builds better in ss and batzi plays nicely.

SS National Dex OU : devin vs Clementine - Clem is having a solid run in ss cup but devin dominated ndpl in ss with virtually the same support he'll have now.

SV National Dex DOU : Idyll vs John1240 - idk doubles but i know idyll's name and im not too familiar with john1240, so ill favor idyll.

SV National Dex Monotype : gorex vs Cielau - not too familiar w mono either but cielau is very solid, gorex is good but ill favor the mono mainer in this one since im not entirely certain

Astro Nation Shoe vs havocknight
Shoe is a well known player in the ND DOU community. He is known as the ladder king who uses tried and true "GoodStuffs" teams. The European player has Frixel and perhaps entrocefalo to help him out as well. I think Brazil will be in for a tough spot.

Idyll vs John1240
Idyll is a long-time, well-respected player in the DOU community. With the player's vast experience in Doubles as well as support from council member, Glimmer, I think John1240 will have to prep quite a bit. I look forward to what France will cook up.

Daepiquejt vs Voltix
Both regions has quite a large base for Doubles players. I think Voltix will have the edge due to longer competitive experience, but you should never count Daepiquejt out. Daepiquejt is an active ND DOU player, and I always root for the up and rising stars.

sir jelloton vs AiRedzone
This is a tough one. AiRedzone has been around the Doubles community for quite a while, but sir jelloton has proven himself to be a very consistent player for many doubles metas. Who will win? That is the question.

xqiht vs zee
This is a match that I will keep a watch on. Both players have amazing records in the competitive scene. Zee will be assisted by Iceberg77 and xqiht will be assisted by me (so naturally I will vote for xqiht).

Mizuhime vs bage1
bage1 gives me nightmares.
Mizuhime is a long time Doubles player; Canada should be in good hands.

A solid match up between 2 of my guys, love yall. Mada has been making waves this year with his qualificationfor circuit, and a solid SPL showing so far. His play has definitely improved to be considered a threat. Beraldo has been around for a bit, and has an impressive track record in team tournaments overall backed with great play. Mada plays ND a bit more so bolding him for now.

ChrisPBacon vs Suzuya

2 former teammates face off, both having good years in ND for 2023. Ngl I think bacons kinda a noob farmer, beating down opponents who rush games while struggling against the more established and patient players. Suzuya did great in NDPL, even beating me and generally plays solid, although team choices were a bit linear due to ryuji. That bring said I can't not bold Chris, results speak loud and he has them. Predicting a team that makes no progress outside of hazards/ status vs offense.

Cool match up, stareals been playing SS forever and has a good idea of the tier. Concepts might be outdated but shouldn't matter too much. I met Banana recently and they build some cool innovative teams that im a fan of, wouldnt be susprised if he got the drop on star. Bolding stareal cause of experience.

For those not familiar with Separation, hes an established player in the tournament community and I'm surprised but thrilled he even signed up for this. Xurks kinda fire and ive been a fan of the creative builds he uses for awhile. Should be a fun watch game of the week.

I personally think stareal is the better player but I see banana getting the leg up in the builder and taking this one home.

Both experienced players and should be fun to watch them go at it. I'm leaning slightly more towards devin because I believe the building support behind could give the edge, but this is closely matched enough that I won't be bolding.

SV National Dex Monotype : Rinda vs Leafium Z - Definitely will be a game to see but I'm rooting for Leaf, he's my teammate in NDMPL.

SV National Dex Monotype : Sabella vs Bka Onon - I like both of these guys, Bka Onon definitely has the experience in NDM though I do have to say Sabella got somewhat used to mono in MWP, it was SV not NDM but give him a good team and he'll be fine, has Isza + Crossheart support.

SV National Dex Monotype : cscl vs crashy - Never bet against crash. Also teammate in NDMPL.

SV National Dex Monotype : Splash vs maroon - maroon performed quite well last NDWC however hasn't been too hot in NDMPL so far so Splash should take advantage of that.

Astro Nation Shoe vs havocknight - I can't say I've ever seen havocknight play the tier. Hope to be surprised, but it's strange to me that the most active Brazilian NDDOU player wasn't chosen for this slot.

Idyll vs John1240 - I expect Idyll to get passed something solid from Glimmer and outplay, difficult for me to predict against him as he has the mons pedigree. Both players played a bit of the tier at the start and just got back into it recently though, so there's mild upset potential.

Daepiquejt vs Voltix - Both players qualified for the recent ladder tour, but Voltix is a more experienced player overall with a more diverse team selection, so I'll give a solid edge to him.

sir jelloton vs AIRedzone - Jello has been looking incredibly strong across all DOU tiers lately and has been grinding this one actively. Redzone hasn't played a tour since NDFL to my knowledge, and the meta has shifted quite a bit since then.

xqiht vs zee - Highlight match for me. Two fantastic players, xqiht has been more active recently but zee is a better builder imo and has better support. Either way, this one is the one to watch this week.

Mizuhime vs bage1 - bagel is a superstar in this tier, while Mizu is just now getting into it. I don't doubt she can learn it, but I'm taking bagel on this one.
