moltres can function as a solid mawile pivot, as while it dislikes knock off and repeated thunder punches, it is able to come in on its stab and threaten it out, with threats of a flame body burn ruining mawile. However rock tomb provides a way of OHKOing the bird without making contact while also irritating other standard maw switchins such as skarmory and gliscor.

I know this is ur, but I also know you're a sucker for this mon, so it balances out.

Moltres switches into camel and can usually win the exchange due to mind games, whether its sub/roost, or uses toxic expecting earth power on roost, but rock slide breaks subs, and does ginormous amounts of damage to molt, straight up killing non bulky ones.

I've used this mon under trick room a few times, and legit, under grassy terrain, some defensive cores just don't have a reliable switchin to this mon, its insane.

Moltres is a common switch-in against Heatran due to it resisting Heatran's STAB typings and being immune to the common earth power, proceeding to kill Heatran with scorching sands. I am about to present a rather uncommon set but I feel like it can catch Moltres off-guard.
