With a setup sweeper as powerful as Drednaw, the natural team style to go with would be dual screens hyper offense. We went with Tapu Koko as our screens setter since it has the potential to provide much better synergy with potential teammates like Iron Valiant via Electric Terrain. It also has unblockable pivoting and Taunt support, making it arguably more potent than Grimmsnarl in some cases. Volcarona takes advantage of Choice Scarf Kartana and Zamazenta looking to revenge kill Tera Dark Drednaw, being given ample setup opportunities as a result. Landorus-T provides a crucial Ground and Electric immunity, preventing us from being mauled by opposing offensive Ground-types and Volt Switch users. Gravity allows us to bait Ground-immune Pokemon like Skarmory and Gliscor, which opens up our physical attackers and Volcarona in sweeping. Mega Scizor + Iron Valiant round out the team, with the former giving us solid Choice Scarf Tapu Lele and Dragonite counterplay, and the latter providing another beneficiary of Electric Terrain.

Submissions are open for the new week!

Hi all; I apologize for the late post and building session, but my hands were a bit tied IRL and I'm crazy forgetful. Anyways, onto the team description.

Aegislash is a slightly underrated defensive Pokemon with traits that allow it to differentiate itself from Gholdengo. With Toxic, it can potentially cripple Pokemon that attempt to switch into it, spreading chip damage safely alongside King's Shield and Substitute stalling for damage. It also has a better defensive stat spread that makes it less vulnerable to foes such as Mega Medicham and Tapu Lele after it Terastallizes, making it a perfect fit for fatter teams in need of checks to them. Skarmory provides a much safer fallback against the likes of Kingambit and Great Tusk, and it sets Spikes for the rest of the team excellently. Hippowdon pairs wonderfully with the first two team members, forming an excellent entry hazard-stacking core with Skarmory and checking special attackers Aegislash can't handle, such as Mega Charizard Y and Iron Moth. Mega Lopunny is a mainstay on a ton of fat teams, providing invaluable speed control and pivoting, as well as a failsafe against setup sweepers. Hydreigon provides entry hazard removal, as well as a check to Heatran. Toxapex rounds out the defensive core of the team, providing a sturdier Water resist overall, a Knock Off user, and a Volcarona check.

Submissions are open for the new week! Again, I sincerely apologize for my forgetfulness.

I'm just here to preach about how great and underrated it is as a wincon against fat while being fat while also not being clefable while being great defensively. It beats hippo + skarm core if that's something...
(disclaimer: if the skarm faster or decided to tera fighting results are not guaranteed, though if skarm not tera fighting or is slower corv beats it, but seriously though toxapex / clefable is almost always going to be a teammate so hippo skarm core gets beat)

You can never go wrong with adding Pursuit Kingambit to a team. This thing is the absolute king of the tier, by far.

Surprise CCAT to see if this wasn't dead, here's the result:

:sv/rotom-wash: :sv/scizor-mega: :sv/dragonite: :sv/heatran: :sv/great-tusk: :sv/iron-valiant:

We built around Nasty Plot Rotom-W which dismantles common defensive teams that have Pokemon like Ting-Lu and Alomomola as a defensive backbone. Mega Scizor and Dragonite both provide a good defensive backbone into Pokemon like Tapu Lele and Mega Charizard Y, while benefiting from Rotom-W breaking through Pokemon like Dondozo and Toxapex. Heatran and Great Tusk are the hazard setter and remover respectively, and Iron Valiant is the breaker for the team as its strong STABs and coverage is a pain to switch into. Here's a replay of the team in action!

I'll be leaving submissions open until this weekend, enjoy!
