Overview
########
  • Mew is one of the most versatile pokemon in game, due to its expansive movepool (second only to smeargle) and learning every TM, and non mon exclusive move tutor moves, which gives it access to a wide variety of tools that let it succeed.
  • Mew has a solid 100/100/100 bulk which allows it to take hits rather well while supporting the team
  • Due to mew's subpar typing, which leaves it with very few usable resistances, and a plethora of weaknesses, it has to be wary when supporting the team.

**Typing Advantage**:
  • Special attackers that hit mew for super effective damage with their stabs threaten mew significantly, some common examples include darkrai, aegislash, volcarona. All of these can easily 2hko mew while mew can not really do much in return to them, or even if it could, it'd be at a very high risk in doing so.
  • Physical attackers with guts, due to how reliant mew is on burns to weaken physical attackers, guts users will instead of getting hindered, be boosted by the burn and able to hit mew for enormous damage.
**Utility Moves**:
  • Prankster taunts, or mons that outspeed mew and can taunt it, completely shut mew down.
