Welcome to the fourth edition of the Monotype Ladder Tournament hosted by Decemm and Perishing Song!

The laddering session has now concluded, here are the players who qualified during the past 4 weeks of laddering. Now they will be placed in a double elimination bracket in order to determine the winner of this tournament.

The pairings will be RANDOMISED and not at all based on what position you ended on the ladder in your cycle. The competition will also be DOUBLE ELIMINATION and each match up is a BEST OF THREE.

Deadline for matches will be at Monday September 3rd at 12:00 AM EST

Bitana vs. Jase Duken - After sending lotus member wincon to the losers bracket, the hammer duken is ready for r2.
Asziran vs. ArkenCiel - both hard to predict players. Arken has a knack for outfoxing the foxes.
lax vs. Feitan the steam - sad.
Vodoom vs. Clearly - gorebyss wont win two rounds.
ima vs. Prosaic - prosaic is good. scary good.

Also about the posting replays thing, I think one of the reasons people don't do it is because they don't want future opponents looking back at what teams/sets they brought in previous rounds. While they are entertaining to watch, I don't think they should be badgered because they choose not to post them.

Yeah, definitely. Some players rely on the element of surprise in tournament games and don't wanna expose themselves to the people who rely on scouting. Personally, I don't like sharing replays against frens where they might have misplayed badly to save them face. Whatever the reason, I don't think there's cause to worry here though. Doubt anyone feels bad or obligated to share replays if they really don't want to since no one in particular was getting called out. I saw it more as a reminder that there are users outside of the players that are invested in the tournament as well

Thx to those that post replays though. It's really entertaining for those who like the tier. Also helps players coming back from a hiatus to quickly have an understanding on what's current.

Really enjoyed Lax's series this week, & Fardin v Juleo (game 1) last week. Would have loved to see Zugu vs Vodoom but I couldn't catch it live nd it never got posted.
