[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

- Knock Off is Weavile’s strongest STAB move (When they are holding an item) and has the added bonus of eliminating other Pokemons items.

- Icicle Crash is a great STAB ice move for Weavile and has the secondary ability to flinch. It is stronger than Ice punch another common STAB move but has the chance to miss.

- Ice Shard gives u great priority for Pokemon faster than you such as Mega Loppuny and Choice scarf users.

- Poison Jab is great for hitting Pokemon like Azumarill with resists both of ur STAB moves and is great for fairy types in general besides Klefki.

- Low Kick is good for steel types and rock types such as Tyranitar and Ferrothorn.

- Pursuit can be used as a good way to “trap” the Lati Twins and weakened psychic/ghost types and also get some damage off on Pokemon that are forced to switch in some situations on Weavile.

Set Details
========

- Max attack and max speed with a jolly nature are must haves to use this Pokemon effectively. Running an adamant nature which although boosts your attack, makes you slower than common Pokemon such as Gengar, Latios, Latias, Mega Diancie, Thundurus, Tornadus T, Starmie and more

- It is better to run Pressure over Pickpocket because if you lose your item Pickpocket might give you an item that you don’t want to have such as choice specs.

- Life orb gives Weavile a boost in damage with the cost that u lose 1/10th of your max HP every turn you attack.

Usage Tips

========

- Weavile is a great revenge killer but can be worn down easily so avoid bringing it in on Stealth Rocks.

- Try not to let Weaville take a hit of any sorts.

- Find the perfect opurtunity to bring it in through smart doubles or through switches from moves such as U-turn or Volt switch.

- Avoid Status

Team Options
========

- Mandibuzz is a great option due to its access to the move Defog which can get rid of entry hazards and provides some great bulk. It can also play a role as a soft check to many fighting types and revenge kill them with Brave Bird to help Weavile sweep.

- Sableye is also another great option due to its fighting immunity from being part ghost. It also has priority Wil-o-Wisp which halves the attack stat of all mons.

- Tyranitar is another solid option it sets up rocks for weavile and can chip away at pokemon with its sand. it can be used as a utility pokemon to spread paralysis.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

- A choice banded variant can be used for Weavile but Weavile is more useful when it is has the option to switch moves

- Another variant is the SD 3 attack. Although it sounds good there are many times were you will not find the opportunity to Swords Dance thus using the 4th slot of for a coverage move is more useful.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Mega Scizor** : Mega Scizors great typing and great defensicve stats can check weavile with ease. It also gives it a free opportunity to set up and potentially sweep you.’

**Keldeo** : Keldeo checks Weavile pretty easily due to it being able to resist both of Weavile’s STAB moves.
