[SET COMMENTS]
  • Primal Kyogre is a great wallbreaker thanks to an amazing movepool, high Special Attack, and a good ability in Primordial Sea.
  • Water Spout is recommended due to its preposterous damage output, especially at full health under rain as it is able to 2HKO foes that resist it like Ferrothorn, OHKO neutral targets like Necrozma-DM, and a small chance to OHKO +2 Xerneas.
  • Origin Pulse is an alternative that can be used for more consistent damage, especially when Primal Kyogre is chipped, but it has worse accuracy and also doesn't deal as much damage as Water Spout, as it fails to meet most of the benchmarks above.
  • Ice Beam deals reliable damage against Zygarde-C, Eternatus, Mega Salamence, Giratina-O, and Primal Groudon on the switch in, and also can be used as a backup option if Primal Kyogre is chipped.
  • Thunder is recommended to deal with opposing Primal Kyogre and Arceus-Water, which Primal Kyogre would otherwise struggle against.
  • Calm Mind allows Primal Kyogre to 2HKO on walls like Ferrothorn, Primal Groudon, and specially defensive Eternatus as well as avoid the 2HKO from Meteor Beam Eternatus and opposing Primal Kyogre's Thunder.
  • Primal Kyogre should be used early-game to blow holes in an opponents' defensive cores and it can easily use Calm Mind on Pokemon like Ho-Oh and Zygarde.
  • Primal Kyogre best fits on bulky and hyper offense teams that appreciate its great bulk and monstrous Special Attack.
  • Primal Kyogre has a shaky matchup against Primal Groudon, due to the unique interaction between Desolate Land and Primordial Sea as well as not switching into Primal Groudon very well. Therefore, Pokemon that Primal Groudon struggles against, like Zygarde-C and Arceus-Ground, are appreciated as teammates.
  • Primal Kyogre also has average physical bulk and is threatened by strong physical attackers like Marshadow and Zacian-C. Therefore, defensive checks like Yveltal, Zygarde-C, and Ho-Oh are also beneficial as teammates. Yveltal and Ho-Oh can also remove entry hazards, a big obstacle for Primal Kyogre.

  • Primal Kyogre is a great wallbreaker in National Dex Ubers thanks to an amazing movepool, high Special Attack, and good ability in Primordial Sea.
  • Water Spout is recommended due to its preposterous damage output, especially at full health under rain at +1 after a Calm Mind, being able to 2HKO resists like Ferrothorn anything else? More examples would be nice, as well as OHKO neutral targets like Necrozma-Dusk-Mane Necrozma-DM and what else? Some more examples would be nice and a small chance to OHKO +2 Xerneas after a Geomancy. While mentioning stat boosts is allowed, here it'd be larger and vaguer to add what stat is being boosted than to just mention the move used for that.
  • Ice Beam deals reliable damage against Zygarde-Complete Zygarde-C, Eternatus, Mega Salamence, and Giratina-O, and can be used as a backup option if Primal Kyogre is chipped.
  • Thunder is recommended to deal with opposing Primal Kyogre and Arceus-Water, which would otherwise wall it. Furthermore, Primoridal Primordial Sea mitigates removes Thunder's mediocre accuracy. Thunder can't miss on rain, rather than the implication of having slightly higher accuracy
  • Calm Mind allows Primal Kyogre to get the 2HKO on walls like Ferrothorn and specially defensive Eternatus, as well as avoid the OHKO against +2 Xerneas's Thunder bad example here as then POgre can't do much back, Water Spout requiring it healthy and all, please swap it and the 2HKO from +1 Meteor Beam Eternatus.
Add a bullet point or two over general usage tips for this set of Kyogre, for example how it should be used early-game, on what it can use Calm Mind on, and what it should watch out for, such as status spreading and unecessarily being weared down as it compromises Water Spout
  • Primal Kyogre best fits on bulky offense and balance teams that appreciate its great bulk which helps against what foes that it checks? and monstrous Special Attack.
  • Primal Kyogre has a shaky matchup into Primal Groudon, due to the unique interaction between Desolate Land and Primordial Sea, as well as not switching into Primal Groudon very well, but it switching switches into Primal Kyogre effortlessly. Therefore, Pokemon that Primal Groudon struggles against, like Ho-Oh and Arceus-Ground, are appreciated.
  • Primal Kyogre also has average physical bulk and is threatened by strong physical attackers like Marshadow and Zacian-C. Therefore, defensive checks like Yveltal and Primal Groudon are also beneficial. Primal Groudon can form a strong Desolate Land + Primordial Sea core, while Yveltal can remove entry hazards, a big obstacle for Primal Kyogre.
  • When heavily chipped, Primal Kyogre struggles to break through Ferrothorn. Therefore, offensive Pokemon that can force it out, like Marshadow and Deoxys-A, make great partners.

stamping bob's check, credit him for qc1

Primal Kyogre is a great wallbreaker in National Dex Ubers
while breaker is totally fine, adding "and a cleaner / sweeper" could be nice bc its packing CM
at +1 after a Calm Mind
+2 Xerneas after a Geomancy. While mentioning stat boosts is allowed, here it'd be larger and vaguer to add what stat is being boosted than to just mention the move used for that.
at +1 was fine (and better) tbh, its not vague cuz it's a CM set. mentioning geomancy was fine, but +2 is also fine; u didnt rly have to change it
Ice Beam deals reliable damage against Zygarde-Complete Zygarde-C, Eternatus, Mega Salamence, and Giratina-O, and can be used as a backup option if Primal Kyogre is chipped.
hitting pdon on the switch too

overall, a very good check! u did a great job catching stuff like +2 xern thunder and the usage tips part. keep it up!

  • Primal Kyogre is a great wallbreaker in National Dex Ubers thanks to an amazing movepool, high Special Attack, and good ability in Primordial Sea. Mention benefits of origin pulse over water spout
  • Water Spout is recommended due to its preposterous damage output, especially at full health under rain at +1, being able to 2HKO resists like Ferrothorn and Arceus-Water, Thunder already hits this as well as OHKO neutral targets like Necrozma-DM and a small chance to OHKO +2 Xerneas.
  • Ice Beam deals reliable damage against Zygarde-C, Eternatus, Mega Salamence, Giratina-O, and Primal Groudon on the switch in, and also can be used as a backup option if Primal Kyogre is chipped.
  • Thunder is recommended to deal with opposing Primal Kyogre and Arceus-Water, which would otherwise wall it. Futhermore, Primordial Sea removes Thunder's mediocre accuracy.
  • Calm Mind allows Primal Kyogre to get the 2HKO on walls like Ferrothorn, Groudon-Primal and specially defensive Eternatus, as well as avoid the 2HKO from Meteor Beam Eternatus and opposing Primal Kyogre's Thunder.
  • Primal Kyogre should be used early game to blow holes in the opponents defensive cores, and, if predicted correctly, can easily use Calm Mind on Pokemon like Ho-Oh and Zygarde.
  • Primal Kyogre best fits on bulky offense and balance hyper offense teams that appreciate its great bulk and monstrous Special Attack.
  • Primal Kyogre has a shaky matchup into Primal Groudon, due to the unique interaction between Desolate Land and Primordial Sea, as well as not switching into Primal Groudon very well, but it switches into Primal Kyogre effortlessly. Reword the end of this sentence, as of right now it sounds like primal kyogre easily switches into primal kyogre Therefore, Pokemon that Primal Groudon struggles against, like Ho-Oh Zygarde and Arceus-Ground, are appreciated. Groudon almost always runs rock coverage for hooh so it’s not worth mentioning
  • Primal Kyogre also has average physical bulk and is threatened by strong physical attackers like Marshadow and Zacian-C. Therefore, defensive checks like Yveltal, Zygarde and Primal Groudon are also beneficial. Primal Groudon can form a strong Desolate Land + Primordial Sea core, while Yveltal can remove entry hazards, a big obstacle for Primal Kyogre.
  • When heavily chipped, Primal Kyogre struggles to break through Ferrothorn Groudon-Primal. Primal groudon is way more relevant of an example than Ferrothorn, you can also adjust the examples in the next sentence to fit better vs primal groudon. Therefore, offensive Pokemon that can force it out, like Marshadow and Deoxys-A, make great partners.

  • Primal Kyogre has a shaky matchup into Primal Groudon, due to the unique interaction between Desolate Land and Primordial Sea, as well as not switching into Primal Groudon very well, but Primal Groudon switches into Primal Kyogre effortlessly. Feels a lot like fluff, you already mentioned how it struggled vs groudon beforehand Therefore, Pokemon that Primal Groudon struggles against, like Zygarde-C and Arceus-Ground, are appreciated.
  • Primal Kyogre also has average physical bulk and is threatened by strong physical attackers like Marshadow and Zacian-C. Therefore, defensive checks like Yveltal, Zygarde-C and Ho-Oh Primal Groudon primal groudon isn’t really safe into either of those two, especially considering how zacian can tera ground or fight are also beneficial. Yveltal and Ho-Oh can remove entry hazards, a big obstacle for Primal Kyogre.
