Mega Gyarados is a powerful sweeper on hyper offense teams thanks to Dragon Dance, Mold Breaker, and its high Attack stat. Mega Gyarados also possesses a valuable defensive typing that helps against foes such as Gholdengo, Volcarona, and Kingambit. Mold Breaker lets Mega Gyarados break through foes such as Tera Fairy Gastrodon and Skeledirge, the latter being a troublesome foe for teammates such as Dragonite and Dragapult. Substitute allows Mega Gyarados to avoid status from foes such as Toxapex, Skeledirge, and Rotom-W while also avoiding revenge killers such as Tapu Lele and Kartana. Alternatively, if Cyclizar provides Shed Tail support, then Earthquake lets Mega Gyarados break through Toxapex and hits Rotom-W. Cyclizar also provides entry hazard removal, allowing Mega Gyarados to avoid Stealth Rock damage when entering. Taunt can also be used to deny recovery, Haze, and Iron Defense from Toxapex and Skarmory, though it is generally not preferred since it leaves Mega Gyarados vulnerable to Scald burns and revenge killers such as Tapu Lele. Mega Gyarados appreciates dual screen support from Tapu Koko which allows it to set up easier. In return, Mega Gyarados can pivot into Ground-type attacks from foes such as Landorus-T and Great Tusk. Mega Gyarados struggles against physical walls such as Skarmory, Ferrothorn, and Buzzwole so it appreciates teammates such as Volcarona and Iron Valiant handling them. Entry hazard support from teammates such as Landorus-T, Glimmora, and Annihilape helps weaken defensive foes such as Tangrowth and Tera Water Landorus-T for Mega Gyarados. Teammates such as Dragonite also appreciate Mega Gyarados weakening defensive foes such as Skeledirge and Ferrothorn so it can clean late-game.

Mega Gyarados is a powerful sweeper on hyper offense teams thanks to Dragon Dance, Mold Breaker and its high Attack stat. definitely provide mentions of what your typing helps out against, most notably against ghold, kingambit, volc, etc Mold Breaker lets Mega Gyarados break foes such as Tera Fairy Gastrodon and Skeledirge, the latter being a troublesome foe for teammates such as Dragonite and Dragapult. Substitute allows Mega Gyarados to avoid status from foes such as Toxapex, Skeledirge, and Rotom-W, while avoiding revenge killers such as Tapu Lele and Kartana. Alternatively, if Cyclizar provides Shed Tail support then Earthquake lets Mega Gyarados break Toxapex and hits Rotom-W harder. mention taunt to stop walls like skarm and pex from healing and hazing/idefing, etc. dont slash it though Cyclizar also provides entry hazard removal so Mega Gyarados can avoid Stealth Rock damage when entering. Mega Gyarados appreciates dual screen support from Tapu Koko which allows it to set up easier, in return Mega Gyarados can pivot into Ground-type attacks for them. Mega Gyarados is a powerful sweeper on hyper offense teams thanks to Dragon Dance, Mold Breaker and its high Attack stat. Mega Gyarados also gains a valuable offensive defensive if ur mentioning its defensive talents i think its better to say this here typing that helps against foes such as Gholdengo, Volcarona and Kingambit. Mold Breaker lets Mega Gyarados break foes such as Tera Fairy Gastrodon and Skeledirge, the latter being a troublesome foe for teammates such as Dragonite and Dragapult. Taunt can also be used to deny recovery, Haze and Iron Defense from Toxapex and Skarmory, though it is generally not preferred. bit of a flow issue here, move this sentence back so the cyc thing makes sense Cyclizar also provides entry hazard removal so Mega Gyarados can avoid Stealth Rock damage when entering. Mega Gyarados appreciates dual screen support from Tapu Koko which allows it to set up easier, in return Mega Gyarados can pivot into Ground-type attacks for them. Mega Gyarados struggles against physical walls such as Skarmory, Ferrothorn, and Buzzwole so it appreciates teammates such as Volcarona and Iron Valiant handling them.
