[SET COMMENTS]

Mega Aerodactyl may look alluring as a Dragon Dance sweeper, as it possesses a good offensive typing, colorful coverage options, and an unmatched speed tier, but it falls flat hard. Mega Aerodactyl's longevity is absolutely atrocious, as it has a subpar defensive typing, mediocre bulk, and a debilitating weakness to Stealth Rock. Mega Aerodactyl also has coverage issues, as it must choose carefully between Earthquake and Ice Fang and ultimately decide what to be walled by. Mega Aerodactyl only fits on hyper offense, but the lack of defensive utility combined with it being forced out a lot leaves Mega Aerodactyl outclassed by other offensive Mega Evolutions such as Mega Scizor, Mega Garchomp, and Mega Gyarados. Unlike Mega Aerodactyl, they are not forced out as often thanks to their better defensive typing and bulk, so they are not as quickly invalidated by the majority of the defensive metagame. As a result, Mega Aerodactyl is almost unjustifiable on any viable team.

Tapu Koko and Grimmsnarl assist Mega Aerodactyl's sweep by setting up screens for it. Teammates such as Kartana, Weavile, Serperior, and Tapu Lele that can trap or overwhelm Steel-types like Mega Scizor, Corviknight, Skarmory, and Ferrothorn can help facilitate Mega Aerodactyl's sweep. Kartana, Tapu Lele, and Serperior in particular benefit from Mega Aerodactyl checking Fire-types such as Volcarona, Victini, and Heatran, while they can help Mega Aerodactyl by threatening Toxapex. Entry hazard setters like Landorus-T and Mew help Mega Aerodactyl wear down its checks over the course of a game. If Mega Aerodactyl carries Ice Fang, removing Gliscor and Landorus-T is great for Belly Drum Kommo-o. Volcarona appreciates Mega Aerodactyl pressuring Heatran for it. Despite this extensive team support, Mega Aerodactyl doesn't do anything the other Mega Evolutions on hyper offense cannot do.

Mega Aerodactyl may look alluring as a Dragon Dance sweeper, as it possesses a good offensive typing and an unmatched speed tier, but it falls flat hard. Mega Aerodactyl's longevity is absolutely atrocious, as it has a subpar defensive typing, mediocre bulk, and a bad weakness to Stealth Rock. Earthquake does a chunk to Steel types such as Melmetal, Magnezone, Excadrill, Mega Mawile, and can immediately threaten Heatran. Ice Fang may be used to destroy Landorus-T, Gliscor, and Garchomp, but forgoing Earthquake leaves it unable to touch the aforementioned Steels. Mega Aerodactyl only fits on hyper offense, but the lack of defensive utility combined with it being forced out a lot leaves Mega Aerodactyl outclassed by other, better offensive Megas such as Mega Scizor, Mega Garchomp, Mega Gyarados, Mega Charizard X why is it outclassd? (explain more) , and even Mega Tyranitar dd mtar is still quite niche, not worth a mention. Mega Aerodactyl is a horrible Pokemon and should never be used on any viable team, let alone should you waste your mega slot on it. here i would focus more on why its a horrible pokemon, ie outclassed, has coverage issues, hard to justify; rather than bully the mon

Tapu Koko and Grimmsnarl assist Mega Aerodactyl's sweep by setting up screens for it. Teammates that can trap or overwhelm Steel-types like?, such as Magnezone, Kartana, Weavile, Serperior, and Tapu Lele are also recommended. Kartana and Serperior in particular appreciate Mega Aerodactyl checking Fire-types such as Volcarona, Non-Scarf Victini, and Moltres Victini and Heatran molt is irrelevant and u check even scarf tini, while they can help Mega Aerodactyl overwhelm Toxapex cld mention lele here asw, also appreciates the same thing. Entry hazard setters like Landorus-T and Mew help Mega Aerodactyl wear down its checks over the course of a game. If Mega Aerodactyl carries Ice Fang, removing Gliscor and Landorus-T is great for Kommo-o, which can clean with Belly Drum. Volcarona appreciates Mega Aerodactyl threatening Heatran for it. Despite this extensive team support, Mega Aerodactyl doesn't do anything the other megas on hyper offense cannot do, such as Mega Garchomp, Mega Gyarados, and Mega Charizard X.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Water-types**: Toxapex, Slowbro, Quagsire, and Alomomola can soak up many of Mega Aerodactyl's hits and can threaten it back with Scald. i would seperate toxapex from the rest in a diff sentence, and mention how it dislikes eq, add another sentence for offensive waters that can s/i consistently but force it out, ie agren, mana, mpert

**Priority**: Priority users such as Rillaboom, Mega Mawile, Mega Scizor, Ash-Greninja, and Weavile all hit Mega Aerodactyl super hard and can stop its sweep. mention how its poor defensive typing correlates to this, and specify how they cant switch in

**Steel-types**: Corviknight, Skarmory, Jirachi, Mega Scizor, Magnezone, and Mega Mawile all stop Mega Aerodactyl's Ice Fang variants, but Magnezone, Jirachi, and Mega Mawile must worry about Earthquake. seperate this sentence into 2, those that care abt eq and those that dont, and state why they r good checks (they resist its stabs and ice fang), mention melm as well

**Bulky Ground-types**: Hippowdon, Landorus-T, Gliscor, and Garchomp all usually sit on Mega Aerodactyl and threaten it with Toxic or Stone Edge, but all have to worry about Ice Fang. hippo cant touch it bar tox and is 2hkoed by +1 dwb, aero can just dd up more, also mention how like glisc and cant rlly touch it asw unless tox on either / stone edge or smack lando, so best they can do is turn out, would probably lower the intensity on how they check it, they dr ”sit” on it, moreso pivot into it. Also chomp cant rlly s/i so make sure to mention that.
