Round 5:

Cyric gets sent out and Sigma immediately frowns. He knows that his strength isn't going to do much to the ghostly ball and is subsequently worried when ducks start clouding his vision. Blame it on the Confuse Ray that Cyric just sent out. Sigma tries to return the favour with a Payback but trips and hurts himself instead. The sudden meeting with the ground rescrambles Sigma's brain and clears him of all confusion.

The Machop gets up and immediately buffs up his body but Cyric then hits him with a well placed Shadow Ball that knocks him over. The Gastly then sends out another Shadow Ball but Sigma takes this one while in full run, blocks out the pain and lands a hefty Payback on Cyric.

Sigma makes for the water at a run, and as he dives into the water, he opens his eyes and gets Confused by a ray of light from Cyric. However, the dip in the water cures him of the confusion, and Cyric merely stares in anger.

For 2 consecutive turns, Sigma and Cyric trade hits with Shadow Ball and Payback respectively, and while both survive the round, they look distinctly weakned. Will the floating blob win this matchup, or will the Greek fighter take the honours? Stay tuned to find out.

Tau uses Shadow Ball to score some damage on Mask, but before it could connect, Mask uses Shadow Sneak to get a quick hit in. The next turn, Mask takes a Charge Beam which raises Tau's Special Attack while licking the opponent, and the next turn it eats anotehr Shadow Ball as it continues to lick. It finally achieves what it wants to, and Tau gets paralyzed! However, it doesn't look too severe.

Welcome back!

Mask pushes forward with a Shadow Sneak! Tau responds by yelling about hax, because he gets fully paralyzed! Mask Shadow Sneaks again, while Tau uses a mysterious move called Shadow which has no effect, because there is no such attack! Finally, Mask gains the kill with anotehr Shadow Sneak, and victory goes to zarator!
