BSS Landorus-Therian [QC 1/1][GP 1/1]

[SET]
name: Choice Attacker
move 1: Earthquake
move 2: Tera Blast
move 3: U-turn
move 4: Rock Slide / Stone Edge
item: Choice Scarf / Choice Band
tera type: Flying
ability: Intimidate
nature: Jolly / Adamant
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

* Landorus-T is a fantastic Choice item sweeper and pivot, making great use of Terastallization and Tera Blast to make up for the lack of a reliable Flying-type attack!

* **Rock Slide versus Stone Edge**: Rock Slide having more consistent accuracy over Stone Edge makes it the preferred option on this set, but Stone Edge is still an option on Choice Band sets if trying to maximize power.

Tera Types
========

* **Tera Dependency - Medium / High**: Tera Blast is a key part of this set's sweeping strategy. However, Earthquake's reliable power and U-turn's pivoting can let Landorus-T adapt to different roles based on the situation.

* **Flying**: Tera Flying is essentially mandatory, giving Landorus-T a consistent Flying-type attack with Tera Blast.

Item Choices
========

* **Choice Scarf**: Choice Scarf lets Landorus-T catch faster threats like Jolly Urshifu and Chien-Pao, making it a potent revenge killer and late-game cleaner.

* **Choice Band**: Choice Band turns Landorus-T into a powerful wallbreaker against slower teams.

[SET]
name: Offensive Support
move 1: Earthquake
move 2: Rock Tomb
move 3: U-turn / Taunt
move 4: Stealth Rock / Taunt / Tera Blast
item: Sitrus Berry / Assault Vest
tera type: Water / Steel
ability: Intimidate
nature: Careful
evs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]

* With maximum investment in special bulk and an immunity to Thunder Wave, Landorus-T becomes a premier Flutter Mane check.

* **Rock Tomb**: Rock Tomb's speed control pairs well with this set's bulk, usually allowing Landorus-T to slow down targets like Dragonite and Flutter Mane several times.

* **Taunt**: Landorus-T's Taunt is fast enough to shut down many support users and can be devastating to Ting-Lu and Hippowdon, which rely on Earthquake as their main damaging move.

* **Tera Blast with Tera Steel**: This combination lets Landorus-T check Flutter Mane offensively, but it usually requires some Attack investment to consistently OHKO.

Other Options
========

* **Grass Knot**: Grass Knot can be used to surprise bulky targets like Ursaluna-B, Swampert, and Dondozo, which otherwise take Landorus-T's unboosted attacks well.

Tera Types
========

* **Tera Dependency - Medium**: Landorus-T's natural typing is what makes it strong into Thunder Wave Flutter Mane, but Terastallization can shift Landorus-T towards countering other big threats when needed.

* **Water**: Tera Water is the main way to deal with Urshifu-R's Surging Strikes. The Ice-, Steel-, and Fire-type resistance also assist it against common wallbreakers such as Chien-Pao, Gholdengo, and Chi-Yu.

* **Steel**: Tera Steel is best used as a single turn surprise, such as for cushioning strong attacks from Choice Specs Flutter Mane and Ursaluna-B.

* **Fire**: Tera Fire makes Landorus-T much more reliable into Ogerpon-H while still providing a Fairy-type resistance.

Item Choices
========

* **Sitrus Berry**: Sitrus Berry is the preferred item for extending Landorus-T's longevity.

* **Assault Vest**: If running Tera Blast over Stealth Rock, Assault Vest is a viable option if another teammate needs Sitrus Berry.

EV Spreads
========

* **252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD with Careful**: With this spread and Sitrus Berry, Landorus-T can almost always survive up to 3 Moonblasts from unboosted Timid Flutter Mane.

* **252 HP / 36 Atk / 220 SpD with Adamant**: If running Tera Blast, this spread lets Landorus-T almost always OHKO any Flutter Mane except for the maximum Defense with Bold nature sets.

* **252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD with Impish**: Full physical bulk with Intimidate can severely hinder big threats like Dragonite and Ogerpon-H, but keep in mind that several physical attackers like Chien-Pao and Urshifu are still very problematic without Terastallization.

[SET]
name: Bulk Up
move 1: Earthquake
move 2: Rock Tomb
move 3: Bulk Up
move 4: Substitute
item: Leftovers
tera type: Fairy / Water
ability: Intimidate
nature: Adamant
evs: 228 HP / 52 Atk / 164 Def / 4 SpD / 60 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

* Bulk Up and Substitute give Landorus-T new setup opportunities while still taking advantage of its naturally strong base stats and typing.

* **Rock Tomb**: Rock Tomb's speed control is a powerful asset for Landorus-T and its teammates, and its lower power can be patched up thanks to Bulk Up.

* **Substitute**: Substitute and Intimidate can be quite strong against many physical attackers, but Substitute's main strength lies in blocking the effects of Yawn and Salt Cure.

Other Options
========

* **Smack Down**: While less versatile than Rock Tomb, Smack Down makes it much harder for Corviknight, Latias, and other Ground-immune foes to stall Landorus-T out.

Tera Types
========

* **Tera Dependency - Medium**: While many matchups favor Landorus-T's natural typing, other threats such as Chien-Pao and Urshifu-R will require Terastallization if attempting to set up in front of them.

* **Fairy**: Tera Fairy's Dragon-type immunity is critical for stopping Scale Shot setup from Dragonite and making Substitute much harder to break. It provides a well-rounded defensive profile as well, removing all of Landorus-T's natural weaknesses.

* **Water**: Tera Water is your best shot at stopping Urshifu-R's Surging Strikes, which otherwise is strong into Bulk Up and Substitute. The Fire- and Ice-type resistances are also good for cushioning attacks from Chi-Yu and Chien-Pao, respectively.

* **Fire**: Tera Fire is consistently strong into Ogerpon-H’s STAB attacks and still provides insurance against Ice-type attacks from the likes of Chien-Pao.

EV Spreads
========

* **228 HP / 52 Atk / 164 Def / 4 SpD / 60 Spe with Adamant**: With this spread, Landorus-T outruns Jolly Ogerpon after a Rock Tomb, and the Attack EVs almost always guarantee that maximum HP Ogerpon-H is knocked out by Rock Tomb into Earthquake. The Attack EVs also let Earthquake 2HKO offensive both Urshifu formes and Garchomp.

* **252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD with Careful**: Investing fully in special bulk makes Landorus-T much more consistent into special attackers like Flutter Mane.

Looks good. I see a couple things I want to point out but I’m about to drive somewhere so I’ll give a more in depth review when I’m able

I like Bulk Up more too, but is SD ever an option? Idk what it'd hit, but what about Crunch(all I immediately think of is Bronzong lol, though that'd really have to take off...probably not an option but I wouldn't know.) Also, is Smack Down ok?

Gonna check this now with Regulation F in mind. Thankfully, I don't think a lot has changed about Landorus-T, so most of this can be kept easily!

Bulky Support

- Minor thing, but I think this should probably be the 2nd set below the choiced attacker, just because choice is so common right now!

- I think Taunt is worth slashing in the last slot (before Tera Blast even since Tera Blast is more specfically for Tera Steel) and after U-turn in the 3rd slot, stopping opposing Stealth Rocks from stuff like Ting-Lu or Archaludon can be really helpful! It also decently punishes Porygon2 switch-ins, since now they can't spam Thunder Wave.

- I think Grass Knot is worth an other options mention at minimum. It does a ton of damage to Swampert leads, and hits Dondozo hard as a bonus (despite its usage dropping, always handy to have something for it!). If you slash it in, that's fine too, it'd go in the last slot (maybe over Tera Blast since again, that only makes sense with Tera Steel).

Choice Attacker

- I'd mention that its a powerful offensive pivot too, not just a sweeper thanks to U-turn and Intimidate!

Bulk Up

- I'd mention Smack Down in either Other Options, or slash it after Rock Tomb. Support wise its not nearly as great as Rock Tomb, but it does punish floaty stuff that takes advantage of Earthquake immunities like Latias and Corviknight, letting you hit them with a much more powerful Earthquake!

The rest of this stuff looks good to me, I'll give this a stamp once you implement stuff!

Fixed what you pointed out with the Urshifu formes in the Bulk Up EV Spreads. I also slightly reworded the Tera Fairy bullet in the same set to make sure it was clear that by "denying setup" I was specifically referring to Dragonite's Scale Shot.

If we're all good there, then Landog is finally ready for the big time.
