Kindgra is one of the deadliest rain sweepers in the SS Ubers metagame. Its access to strong coverage moves as well as a pivoting option allows it to take advantage of common defensive Pokemon that would like to stand in the way of most other offensive rain sweepers. Its Dragon-type STAB provides a huge amount of support for rain offense against Pokemon such as Eternatus, Rotom-W, and Dynamaxed Kyurem-B, which are able to take on a majority of the Water-type attacks rain teams usually throw out. Surf and Hydro Pump are interchangeable; Surf lacks in power what it makes up for in consistency, missing out on certain KOs such as Mewtwo after Stealth Rock or a guaranteed OHKO on Quagsire. The combination of Liquidation and Dragon Dance turns Kingdra into a terrifying mixed sweeper, letting it set up and break through Pokemon that can normally check its special attacks, such as Blissey. However, those two moves can switched out for Flip Turn and Hurricane as well. Flip Turn gives Kingdra an option to pivot on special walls instead of trying to breaking them, allowing strong physical teammates, such as Dracovish and Drednaw, to switch in and break through them. Hurricane gives it strong Flying-type coverage to hit Grass-types like Tangrowth and another way to boost its Speed with Max Airstream, which is beneficial if rain is ending and the Speed boost is needed to avoid being revenge killed.

Kingdra works best when paired with Pelipper and other rain attackers looking for easy ways to get free switches as well as ways to get through common hurdles for Water-types, such as the aforementioned physically defensive Eternatus and Rotom-W. A Rash nature allows Kingdra to hit harder with its special moves while retaining the mixed power on Liquidation or Flip Turn, but a Naive nature trades in that power for the ability to outspeed Zacian-C after a Speed boost from Dragon Dance or Max Airstream outside the rain, as well as Modest Choice Scarf Eternatus in rain. Kingdra has the hardest time breaking through very defensive Pokemon that can shake off special moves such as Blissey and especially Ferrothorn, which is a fantastic natural check to Kingdra and most of its rain partners. As a result, strong ways to lure Ferrothorn such as Dracovish and Gigantamax Drednaw are good partners for Kingdra.

oh right i forgot to QC this after the #analyses discussion...

we already added Liquidation and Dragon Dance to the analysis but I think we also said to put DD + Liquidation first in their respective slots shortly after so go with that.

implement for QC 1/2

Fixed, does it make more sense to reword it to talk about dd and liquidation before the other 2 moves since they're now in the first slot, or does that not matter too much?

yea make the prose order match - Nayrz

Edit: Fixed the order, ready for a second check

the “spreading leech seed” part feels a little extra no?
but ye it looks good QC 2/2
Yeah it was an unnecessary line since ferro naturally is assumed to use leech and the resistances are more important for it as a check, removed that part and moving to GP

Kindgra is one of the most deadly rain sweepers in the SS Ubers metagame. Its (remove apostrophe) access to strong coverage moves as well as a pivoting option allows it to take advantage of common defensive Pokemon which would like to stand it in the way of most other offensive rain sweepers. Its (remove apostrophe) Dragon-type STAB provides a huge amount of support for rain offense against Pokemon such as Eternatus, Rotom-Wash, and Dynamaxed Kyurem-Black which are able to take on a majority of the Water-type attacks rain teams usually throw out. Surf and Hydro Pump are interchangeable; (ASC) where Surf lacks in power what it makes up for in consistency, but it and misses out on certain KOs (remove apostrophe) such as Mewtwo after Stealth Rocks or a guaranteed OHKO on Quagsire from full health. The combination of Liquidation and Dragon Dance turns Kingdra into a terrifying mixed sweeper, letting it set up and break through Pokemon who can normally check its (remove apostrophe) special attacks, (AC) such as Blissey. However, those two moves can switched out for Flip Turn and Hurricane as well. Flip Turn gives Kingdra an solid pivoting option to switch pivot on special walls instead of breaking them (I would consider adding "trying to break them", since if it could succeed in breaking stuff like Bliss, it would just do it), allowing for strong physical teammates, (AC) such as Dracovish or Drednaw, (AC) to switch in and break. Hurricane gives it strong Flying-type coverage to hit Grass-types (AH) like Tangrowth, and another way to boost its (remove apostrophe) Speed with Max Airstream, (AC) which is beneficial if rain is ending and the Speed boost is needed to not be revenge killed.

Kingdra works best when paired with other rain attackers looking for easy ways to get free switches ins as well as ways to get through common hurdles for Water-types (AH), (AC) such as the aforementioned physically defensive Eternatus and Rotom-Wash. Rash nature allows Kingdra to hit harder with its (remove apostrophe) special moves while retaining the mixed power on Liquidation or Flip Turn, but Naive nature trades in that power to allow itself to outspeed Zacian-C at +1 speed after a Speed boost from Dragon Dance or Max Airstream outside the rain if rain has ended, as well as modest Choice Scarf Eternatus in rain. Kingdra has the hardest time breaking through very defensive Pokemon which can shake off special moves such as Blissey and especially Ferrothorn, (AC, remove semicolon) which is a fantastic natural check to Kingdra and most of its (remove apostrophe) rain partners. Ways to deal with Ferrothorn are integral for the success of Kingdra, so its (remove apostrophe) teammates should be prepared to support it pivoting into them by pushing offensive pressure onto these walls (reword this, I'm a bit confused what you're trying to say here).

Implemented, thanks for the am check

EDIT: I added a mention of pelipper which I didn't notice wasn't in there since it's very important as a rain setter, not a long mention but something added after this check
