Arena: Mega Man Battle Network
Awwwwwww yeaaaaaaaaaah, Mega Man Battle Network. Both Pokemon are transported into the arena, which consists of two zones, one red and one blue. There is no Energy in this match; instead, the combatants use Battle Chips. The Battle Chips available are pulled from the used Pokemon's attacks (you may only PM 1 Pokemon to the ref) and the universal chips available to every Pokemon listed below. Only four of any given chip can be put into a single Folder; similarly, only 1 of the more powerful MegaChips below can be chosen. When PMing the ref your Pokemon, PM the ref your Folder as well. Before each round, each player is PM'd 6 random chips, of which they can perform their actions. The only actions that can be performed without BattleChips are Blaster (4 BP, typeless, 100 Acc, either Physical or Special) and Evade (equivalent to Dodge in normal battles). All BattleChips work exactly as normal attacks would, ex. the Fly chip has a -priority strike and evasion at 0 priority, while the Fake Out chip has +4 priority and flinching capabilities. Once a BattleChip is used, that given chip is removed for the rest of the game.

Universal BattleChips (Normal):
Recov10 (Restores 10 HP)
Cannon (8 BP, Normal, Special, 95% Acc)
Vulcan (3 BP, 2-5 hits, Normal, Physical, 90% Acc)
Bubbler (8 BP, Water, 85% Acc, Special. Deals damage to both a Substitute and a real Pokemon if both are there)
Heater (8 BP, Fire, 85% Acc, Special. Deals damage to both a Substitute and a real Pokemon if both are there)
CrossBomb (12 BP, Normal, Special, 80% Acc)
Sword (10 BP, Steel, Physical, 90% Acc)
Guard (Negates an attack and deals half the damage it would have dealt)
SideBamboo (7 BP, 95% Acc, Grass, Physical, 10% chance to inflict 15% paralysis)
Thunder1 (11 BP, Electric, Special, 70% Acc)
Boomer1 (4 BP, Rock, 90% Acc, Physical, hits twice)
CrackPnl (8 BP, Ground, Physical, 100% Acc)
Invis1 (+1 Evasion)
Barrier1 (10 HP Substitute, no expense to your HP)
Hole (6 BP, Dark, --Acc)

MegaChips:
Recov30 (Restores 30 HP)
LifeSword (20 BP, Steel, Physical, 95% Acc)
MegaCannon (20 BP, Normal, Special, 100% Acc)
TimeBomb (30 BP, Fire, Special, deals damage to all combatants, --Acc)
MegaVulc (3 BP, Normal, 100% Acc, hits 10 times)

Tell me whether you plan on using a fully evolved Pokemon or a first-stage Pokemon; I don't have a middle-stage Pokemon, so please don't bring one of those.

Mad editz: Forgot to mention that Folders consist of 30 BattleChips.
Taking the above.

Switch = KO
Items = None
Abilities = All

First stage mons please.
So we're currently in the Mega Man Battle Network. I'm not going to try to summarise the rules, because you'll need to read them yourselves. I will, however, post the Pokemon here:

Stunky [Cyndel] (Female)
Nature: Rash (+SpA, -SpD)
Type:
Poison/Dark: Poison STAB; immunity to Poison/Toxic, see and breath through smog/smokescreens/haze uninhibited. Able to use Wrap and Bind without losing focus. Superior senses in urban settings.
Dark STAB; Immunity to all telepathic and telekinetic attacks, better performance in all darkened and especially twilight conditions. Can use any Dark-type attack regardless of Attraction.

Abilities:
Stench: (Innate) This Pokemon has a foul odor that reeks into each of its attacks, causing all of them to have a 10% flinch rate. This applies to each hit of a multi-hit move.
Aftermath: (Innate) If this Pokemon uses Selfdestruct or Explosion, the attack has ten (10) more Base Attack Power and five (5) more Energy Cost to execute.
Keen Eye (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon has extremely good vision and cannot have its accuracy lowered by an opponent through any means (including accuracy lowering attacks, Smogs, Hazes, Fog, etc.). Its attacks are still affected by an opponent’s evasion and the Pokemon's own accuracy.

Abilities:
Trace: (Can be Activated) This Pokemon can copy an ability of the opponent and replace Trace for six (6) actions. Wonder Guard cannot be Traced.
Download: (Innate) At the beginning of the match, the Pokemon analyzes the opponent and downloads data that lets it deal more damage. This Pokemon receives a one (1) stage increase on the offense that strikes an opponent’s weaker defense stat. (e.g. does more damage with special attacks when facing Aggron, which has higher defense, and attack when facing Hypno, which has higher special defense. For ties, Special Attack is raised.) This boost is maintained at the end of each round.

So we're all gathered for this rather strange battle in Mega Man Battle Network. The chips are down, and everyone is looking ready to start, so having never actually played the game before myself I am forced to cut the flavour and start the battle, which begins with Vader the Porygon, who raises its Special Attack thanks to Download. Then, next up is Terrador's Stunky, Cyndel. Terrador throws out his MegaVulc chip and suddenly Stunky a colossal attack flies from Stunky, beating Vader continuously and brutally, leaving him hurt hard before the battle really begins (30 Damage). Then, all Vader can really respond with is a Return, which doesn't do that much, leaving the beginning of the match very one-sided (11 Damage). Next, Terrador throws out a Guard Chip, which turns in midair to a small block in front of Stunky, with a small number of hitpoints, which blocks Vader's view, leaving him only able to attack the substitute. However, he does this immediately, discharging a huge Ice Beam at the substitute, breaking it apart immediately, and leaving Stunky open once more (8 Damage). Finally, Stunky ends his round by letting off a large Sludge Bomb at Vader, which poisons Vader because of the toxins in the ball, as well as paining him when it actually hits (12 Damage). It then responds by discharging a Discharge, which carries throught the whole area and hits Stunky (14 Damage). This leaves the round over, so good luck to all and we'll begin again with Terrador giving orders. I'll PM you your chips now.

Just so you know, Guard inflicts half of the damage Stunky would have taken, which means that Vader takes an additional 8 DMG. Sludge Bomb should've done (9 (BAP) + 3 (STAB) + 1.5 (3-3) = 12) DMG. Finally, I'd like to ask if you rolled the 10 chances of Flinch from MegaVulc, and if you'd still be amiable to the idea of MegaVulc adding up to 20 BAP, in line with the other non-TimeBomb MegaChips.

All that being said...
Night Slash ~ Dark Pulse ~ Sludge Bomb
If Vader uses Trick Room, use Taunt on the first action!

Yes, I rolled the flinch chances. You get very unlucky. As for MegaVulc, it is your arena, it is up to you. And sorry, I mixed up Guard and Barrier1 because you were talking about it on IRC. I'll edit it in.

Posting to note that I'm OK with iss extending the DQ, and I'm not going to hammer down on him mostly because this arena is so amazing

We're back for the second round, and those who have been playing along will remember that we left the match a while ago while iss took a brief hiatus, but we are now back with a vengeance. Once again, Cyndel the Stunky begins the round, slightly confused by the fact that Terrador has just ordered him to do two different sets of commands! However, eventually he works out which set he is going to follow, and begins the round with a great Night Slash at Vader (10 damage). However, Vader then uses Conversion2, and suddenly a different colour starts to ripple across his body: it becomes strangely brown, and slowly becomes more toned: Vader has become the Fighting type! However, Cyndel then looses a Dark Pulse at the newly transformed Vader, launching a great darkness at the newly transformed Vader, hitting him not very effectively (7 Damage). Then, Vader fires back a large Tri Attack, alternately burning, freezing and shocking him to hurt him badly (17 Damage). Then, Cyndel finally finishes off his round with a huge Sludge Bomb at Vader, covering it with enough poison to poison it even if it weren't already (12 Damage). Finally, iss finishes up the round by throwing out a Vulcan chip, and as a result Vader launches a few powerful attacks at Cyndel, but unfortunately it misses completely, not doing anything to Cyndel. This leaves the round over, and still Cyndel is very much in the lead. It looks like Vader only has one round to turn it around so does he have time? Good luck to both contestants next round!

We arrive back for the third round, and it looks like we might be nearing the ned of the battle: Vader is looking a lot worse for wear, and he looks in fact like he proabbly won't survive too many more of Cyndel's harsh blows. In fact, Terrador starts the round by launching out a Vulcan chip, causing Cyndel to unleash a powerful string of attacks against Vader, hurting him but not stopping him from moving later (6 Damage). This leaves Vader free to start to concentrate hard on itself, and slowly it manages to Recover a lot of its health, leaving it much healthier (20 HP)! This leaves Terrador in a trickier position, and as a result he once again throws out the Vulcan chip, doing the same measly damage (6 Damage). With his opening now available, Vader now lets off a huge Discharge all over the arena, electrocuting Cyndel, and leaving the two competitors almost even (14 Damage). However, next Cyndel lets off his most devastating attack yet this round, a great Dark Pulse, which is not very effective and still leaves Vader easily able to move next (7 Damage). This, then, gives Vader the opportunity to once again Recover a lot of health, leaving itself at a great advantage over the rapidly fading Cyndel (20 HP). Finally, Vader just transforms back to his normal self after the conversion last round, leaving him much plainer but no less dangerous. This leaves the round over, and with the tales turned unexpectedly on Cyndel, it will be interesting to see what the fourth round holds. I'll PM your chips now.

We're back, and all signs point to this, the fifth round, being the final one of the match. Both participants have abandoned previous tactics to go all out with their strongest attacks, and all they are doing now is trading heavy blows. Cyndel once again starts off with a great Dark Pulse, this time fully effective against the newly transformed foe, dealing the first blow of the round (11 Damage). However, Vader then responds with another great Discharge, electrocuting it enough to paralyse it, leaving it sluggish and cursed by jolts of electricity for the remainder of the match (14 Damage). Then iss takes the opportunity to quickly let off a powerful attack from a CrossBomb chip, which would have dealt a devastating blow to Cyndel, nearly knocking it out, except that it rapidly gets a Guard up and reflects much of the attack, hurting Vader (11 Damage). Finally, Vader then lets off another powerful Tri-Attack, freezing Cyndel solid and leaving it unable to let off the Night Slash (17 Damage). This leaves Cyndel on dangerously low health, so now that he is outsped and with barely any health left, it looks bad for him. I wonder what wil happen in the last round!

We're back, but it is the final round and both Pokemon look like they are just about coming to the end of their tether. They each are just holding on by a thread, and neither looks like it could really take an opposing hit too well. However, Vader is very much in prime position, outspeeding Cyndel as he does, so he takes the chance to nail Cyndel with one final, powerful Tri Attack, which knocks Cyndel back with enough force that he can't get up, completely unconscious (17 Damage). This leaves only Vader still able to battle, so iss and Vader Win! gg and wp to both, and I hope you had fun. 1 EC/2 MC/1 DC go to both, and a KO Counter for Vader. Thanks guys!
