I chose Accelgor and Aerodactyl as my two fast mons because I would they would be the best at embracing the theme for this round. With several fast mons, I wanted to avoid having to run scarf pokemon to revenge speedy opponents, and intead utilize speed, priority, and perhaps other methods to revenge kill.

With this in mind, I chose offensive spikes accelgor as my first mon. Being able to outspeed a ton of DD'ers and Scarfers all the way up to medicham, which is simply great, since the power behind LO and great coverage options is a huge bonus. Spikes serves as a way to heavily pressure defensive teams, but I have been debating a 4th attack like sludge bomb or hp ice.

Aero provided really good synergy defensively and also because accelgor could lure steel and rock types if they don't expect focus blast or energy ball. Roost is for longevity vs stuff like fletch to avoid getting in unnecessary trouble, and pursuit is a great option along Zen Headbutt Virizion. It allows me to trap sigi and break its potential sash so that viriz can sd later and still beat it despite lacking stone edge, while also ensuring that linda won't be able to come in twice after rocks if it gets hit on the switch, easing up virizion's sweep.

Speaking of Virizion, it was added after seismitoad, but i'll talk about it first. Basically a really great breaker and cleaner depending on how u use it; zhbutt helps vs amoonguss stall and also to do damage vs grass resists without getting defense drops, with an extra handy flinch chance. Its a very good check to pedo and most darks in general too which is great.

Toad was immediately added as a defensive glue. It gets up rocks, and provides two immunities and myriad of good resistances + bulk to help the frail team switch into things it cant kill. Sludge Bomb used to hit grasses and get poisons, but knock off is probably usable over it. Didn't want to go offensive to help check durant better and switch into lix/doom more nicely, etc.

Durant is a fairy resist while also checking a bunch of attackers and hitting really hard and fast. It adds an element of bug spam I really like, which is good because spikes really help durant power through stuff like regen cores with greater ease. I chose LO > Band because it means im less likely to be forced out by being locked into the wrong move and the team can achieve greater momentum, which is great.

Sash sigi cinch's the team together. It revenge kills stuff and provides a crucial fighting check. Ice Beam was chosen to hit flygon, which can be very useful to knock down a peg as it can annoy a lot of the team. Hypnosis > Thunder Wave because the utility it has to break teams by disrupting their momentum/gameplan (like diancie getting up rocks) was just too good to pass up, but misses can be really huge sometimes.

So made this balance/bulky offense (Your Pick) with Accelgor + Aerodactyl. (Like seriously from the theme who wouldn't pick these 2 lol) So as I said started off with the Accelgor + Aerodaactyl and at first I was thinking of making a hazard stacking team but wooshed that idea. I choose Aerodactyl as a SR Lead. Added a Focus Sash to insure my rocks are getting up. (You can switch life orb for sash for the extra power) Earthquake is there for steel types that resist both your stab moves which are stone edge/ aerial ace. I decided to go with choice specs > life orb just for the extra power (Plus it does so much to everything that doesn't resist it.) I was debating to go for modest or timid but decided to go with modest since Accelgor is hella fast already. (You can use Timid to outpseed scarf Medi by 1 point tho.) Bug Buzz is your STAB move that hits hard (everything except for Emboar/Golbat rip.) Rest of the moves are mainly coverage. Added Flygon for Defog/Rock and Fire Resist. (U-Turn is an option > D Claw but I like to have a better match up against other defensive flygons :]) The flygon was originally Scarf but changed after how much I realized I needed roost. Next added Slowking as a ice resist and for Mega Glailie (Freeze-Dry does 0 to this.) and also as a win-con. Pretty Standard Slowking set so not going into to much detail. Added Granbull for a dark resist and a fighting check (Slowkings weak to knock off so rip.) and also a heal bell user to get rid of status such as toxic on slowking or burns on Flygon. T-Wave is to just cripple the opponnets team. and Eq/Play Rough are obvious moves on Granbull. Lastly I added Magneton to cover up the weaknesses on Granbull and also to trap steels such as Durant (which is a huge threat without magneton) Volt Switch is to gain momentum (You can make a nice volt turn core with flygon if you wish to put U-turn > D Claw) Flash Cannon and Thunderbolt are your STABS moves and lastly HP Fire is for Durant and Escavilier (Pretty sure I spelled that wrong rip.) Anyways sorry for a long paragraph I just don't know how to explain my team in a shorter way lol.

I built around the AccelDactyl core, capable of cleaning up many teams easily with their speed and coverage. Hone Claws is cute as Dactyl forces a lot of switches. Eelektross provides a slow Volt Switch, coverage, and useful resistances to Flying and an immunity to Ground. Venusaur helps against Grass and Water types and can also sweep with SD. Gurdurr helps beat DarkSpam, frail weakened mons, and Steel and Rock types. Now, here is the Gen 4 Nightmare, Macho Brace OTR Bronzong!! Having nice resistances to Fairy, Rock, and Flying, it can set up TR and attack with a powerful Gyro Ball, EQ, or Boom!!! Weaknesses to this team are Tangrowth and Fire types, but it's still pretty cool, so I hope you like it!

Alright so I decided to use a full offensive voltturn core with specs jolteon and band ninjask, steelix as my SR setter, decided to add AV escavalier since it's a safe answer to meloetta and abomasnow, granbull to take care of fighting and dark type mons as well as a nice intimidate user, finally sp def blastoise as my spinner (much needed since I'm using ninjask) and because NP houndoom can be a real pain.

i decided to go build a HO hazard stack team since speed freak is the menu. went up using accelgor + jolteon after some times trying to build a team. since i'm using the LO spikes variant, i needed a rocker that could tank physical attack and fire type, druddigon fits perfectly because rough skin + helmet punish those physical attackers. next i used jolteon because it's volt switch gaves me some momentum. i feel like ground type really threatens the team so i added a sneasel to help me handle ground types. next i need a wallbreaker since some walls like alo/aroma walls my whole team, i added specs melo to deal with them, u-turn is added for some momentum. i needed a hazard control for the last slot because sneasel/accelgor is threatened by SR but i don't want to lose my rocks so i added a spinner. blastoise is the perfect choice since it's a spinner that isn't weak to rocks and is bulky.

I built this team around NP Power Herb Houndoom in order to lure the new and popular Diancie. Jolteon lures in grass and ground types like venusaur and mega steelix respecitively which allows Houndoom to get a free NP vs these mons. Hp ice is used on jolteon because flygon is more important to hit than a steelix or rhyperior because Houndoom can handle both. Clawitzer adds to the special attack overload design of the team while adding much needed momentum via u-turn allowing again houndoom more set up opportunities. I wanted a mon that could take advantage of rocks, like Diancie, gone so I chose an underrated specs swellow. The last two mons provide hazards which is good cause my team forces lots of switches as well as defensive checks to things like Tyrantrum and a leaf storm switch in.

This is a stereotypical stack build, I exploit Accelgor's speed to lay down spikes and have Aerodactyl to accompany it by laying down SR. Spiritomb blocks Spin, Final Gambit blocks Defog, and Hitmonlee spins, all of these mons can threaten the Defoggers present in the tier, but I run Mach Punch instead of Knock Off on Hitmonlee because I think Golbat being a defogger is more of a relevant enemy to take down. MAbomasnow/Aerodactyl and Pedo all love hazards being layed down, and can usually exploit them to get late game sweeps off. P simple formula- Spikes/SR/Ghost/Spin+Exploiters

Right, so. I play RU now so I can go back to winning weeks on creativity alone, but.

The main part of the team was actually normal spam, since it's fun as hell. So to fulfill the requirements off the bat, I went with a favorite of mine in Swellow, since Guts + Facade = nuking. It's also a decent cleaner, outpacing a good chunk of the tier and having priority to clean up after stuff is weakened enough. From there, I decided to add an Absol, though it was originally CritSol. That was weak as hell compared to a LO set, so there was that added on instead.

Linoone was the second part of the normal spam to be introduced, though it was more because a +6 anything can 2hko most of the tier, if not all of it, and there are precious few forms of priority. I initially had Sitrus there to be healthy for a sweep, but considering at +6 a Seed Bomb can stop a Tyrantrum and this was my fastest mon after a boost, and it became a bit needed to have that handy.

Delphox is Delphox, handles bulky steels and mons like Golbat which would give me some problems.

Aerodactyl fills part two of the ingredient requirement, being fast as hell and fitting SR and Defog on the same team slot, which was helpful when trying to pull off sweeps.

By now, I had zero hard stops to some powerful sweepers, so surprise! Gastrodon showed up, helping hit things specially, spread burns, be annoying in general, and drop some Mementos on things so Linoone could hopefully set up a Belly Drum on the switch.

Now I get to battle people.

Stay tuned for the ratings done by the Iron Chefs!
