* **Flash Cannon versus Heavy Slam**: Flash Cannon has great synergy with Acid Spray and is a reliable STAB move in general. While Heavy Slam isn't very useful against heavy targets, it's worth using for OHKOing offensive Flutter Mane, one of the biggest threats in the metagame.

* **Draco Meteor versus Ice Beam**: Draco Meteor's power makes switching offensive threats like Urshifu-R into Hisuian Goodra tricky, and it is notable for 2HKOing Dondozo. Ice Beam lets Hisuian Goodra punish important Ground-types.

* **Acid Spray**: Acid Spray is a useful wallbreaking tool, capable of making even specially bulky foes like Clodsire risk taking massive damage after the Special Defense drop.

* **Thunderbolt**: Thunderbolt is another way to 2HKO physically defensive Dondozo and OHKO offensive Urshifu-R and pairs very well with Ice Beam in terms of coverage.

* **Earthquake**: While not particularly strong, Earthquake is highly recommended for 2HKOing Heatran and 3HKOing opposing Assault Vest Hisuian Goodra, as both of these will wall this set otherwise.

* **Flamethrower**: For other Steel-types like Gholdengo and Scizor, Flamethrower will deal much more damage than Earthquake.

* **Modest versus Quiet**: The importance of mirror matches makes Modest an appealing option for Hisuian Goodra, but Quiet will ensure that all but the bulkiest Flutter Mane will need to Terastallize to avoid a OHKO from Heavy Slam.

Other Options
========

* **Surf**: Surf is a decent option to hit Ground-types and Heatran with one attack, but Surf will, at best, usually only 3HKO Heatran.

Tera Types
========

* **Tera Dependency - Medium**: Despite Hisuian Goodra's superb typing, its common weaknesses to Ground and Fighting make Terastallization a valuable route for it.

* **Flying**: Tera Flying covers Hisuian Goodra's former weaknesses fantastically, even giving it an out against Fissure Dondozo. This comes at the cost of doing much worse against Iron Bundle, Thundurus-T, Zapdos, and Rotom-W though.

* **Fairy**: Tera Fairy still gives Hisuian Goodra a vital Fighting resistance, as well as being a good defensive typing in general.

* **Water**: Tera Water has good synergy with Sap Sipper, giving Hisuian Goodra a sole weakness to Electric, in addition to gaining a useful Ice resistance against Chien-Pao, at the cost of doing worse against Iron Bundle.

Minor Optimizations
======

* **Female Gender**: If using Heavy Slam, there is a a chance that Hisuian Goodra can become infatuated by the very rare Cute Charm Enamorus, making a female gender very slightly superior.

* **252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe with Careful or Sassy**: This specially defensive spread is Hisuian Goodra's best shot at avoiding a 2HKO from Timid Choice Specs Flutter Mane's Tera Fairy Moonblast, assuming extra Leftovers recovery from Protect.

* **252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe with Impish or Relaxed**: Maximum physical bulk means Hisuian Goodra won't check Flutter Mane nearly as well, but it let will let Body Press become a better sweeping tool.

Minor Optimizations

Got this ready for a QC check! There... might be some fancier spreads for the Acid Armor set, not sure, but the max max spreads worked well enough at least, so if no one can think of anything we can always add more spreads later!

I would like to ask a question. NOT suggesting these moves.

In the past, moves w/ higher BP and lesser acc(in equal amounts or better) were reaonable options. So Hydro Pump over Surf, and Fire Blast over Flamethrower. Is this no longer the case, and why? I like accurate moves, but naturally they(the higher BP moves) do some stuff. However they have less PP always, is that a factor?

Anyways looks really good, just wondering.

Generally this tends to be more of a thing in 6v6 formats like say, OU where missing one move can be more easily adjusted for. In a 3v3 format, there's less room for that kind of error, so more accurate moves tend to be preferred.

Implemented the checks! Just note that I generally changed all mentions of "Urshifu" as "Urshifu formes", mostly because Urshifu-R's Surging Strikes hits hard enough that it does scary damage when its not resisted via Tera.

Anyways, let's hope we don't get a Pokemon version of Scriplous Fingore!
