HADOU 90: ONE STROKE CREMATION

Hi smogoners, I haven't posted a team for a while so I decided to do it tonight, since I peaked #1 in ladder quite easily. I built this team starting from my 2 favourite mons, Sableye-Mega and Weavile. They are able to smash entire teams; The majority of the teams i've fought aren't prepared to both of them. Sableye with mbounce + prankster is fantastic because it can weak physical threats and scares all the hazard setters; Weavile, thanks to its cool base speed and firepower is able to heavily damage every mon in the tier. I decided to build a stall team, so i chose as a building process the Counter System one. I added clefable which is nice to support the team and thanks to unaware I can deal with the most of the setuppers in the tier. Chansey was an obvious choice because of its insane bulk and its trait, in fact without it Char Y and Mdiancie are annoying. It has Thunder Wave mostly for a sort of speed control, which is always nice. Keldeo, Mzard x and exca were annoying too so I chose Slowbro, even because it appreciates the twave support. The last pokemon is zapdos. I prefered zapdos instead of skarmory s a defogger because it can use a fire move and because of its trait, which is nice against stall. Someone told me that my team looks like a snowy's one. This is true but I didn't know him and his team.
So, i'm posting micro description because i'm Lazy and my english sucks, this is why fran17 , mil and Loveless Rhapsody helped me to translate.

Sacred Life (Clefable) @ Leftovers

As I said, Clefable presence is to support the team and because I needed of something that could wall the various Calm Mind/Swords Dance users. I choosed to make it Calm Mind so I could be able to remove checks and other Clefables without the need of PPstall. 12 EVs in speed are meant to creep other Clefables.


Crucify Me (Weavile) @ Choice Band
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

- Ice Shard / Low Kick
Initially it was Life Orb but I changed it with a Choice Band because it doesn't take recoil, and with the CB I could 2HKO Rotom-Wash and Heatran that could be pretty problematic. Low Kick variant can be used if you feel more comfortable hitting Heatran harder and I didn't use Ice Shard that much anyway because of the defensive mood the team has.


Pain Redefined (Chansey) @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunder Wave
- Soft-Boiled
- Seismic Toss
- Stealth Rock
I added it because I needed something that could provide me Speed Control and because I was really weak to Charizard Y and various special attackers of the tier. Since I'm using Unaware Clefable Chansey acts as a Status Absorber as well so my opponent won't make me wast Aromatherapy during the battle.

Despite Weavile+Sableye being the fulcrum of the team, we can say that Zapdos is one of the most important Pokémons of the team, as with Pressure it can give me an advantage againist Stall teams, and unlike other defoggers like Skarmory can beat more reliabily Mega Pinsir, Mega Scizor, and Bisharp that can be threatening. The spread is standard but I went for 108 EVs in speed to outspeed Bisharps and Breelooms.


Dehumanized (Sableye) @ Sablenite
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Impish Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Foul Play
- Protect
Sableye is an essiantial part in Oras OU stall. It prevents Rocks and Spikes from going up, which helps Zapdos and my grounded mons a lot. For the moveset I chose a full defensive set to be able to switch into Grounds. Protect helps to get chip damage and one more turn of burn damage and allows me to scout mons which use choice items, like Keldeo. Foul Play hits physical mons like Charizard X, or mons that want to set up with a lum berry, like SD Garchomp.


God Of The Mind (Slowbro) @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator

EVs: 248 HP / 236 Def / 16 SpD / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Slack Off
- Psyshock
Slowbro is my goto physical mon that covers a lot of physical attackers. Together with Zapdos they do really well switching into strong Earthquakes from Excadrill or Landorus for example. CM works as a wincon and together with Aromatheraphy on Clefable, I can set up late game because poison, ecc... can be healed.
8 Speed to speedcreep Amoognuss, Slowbro and Reuniclus.

This team is so similar to ABR stall.

Also quagsire over somthing would be nice you don't lose to DD zard X because unaware clefable isnt a counter
 
Once your slowbro and mega sab gets low(via hazards or outplaying), charizard x gets one dd and sweeps. I would replace calm mind on slowbro with toxic. Moonlight clef can get really low very quick because of the common weather elements in the ou tier. Band tar threatens your team very badly if your opponent plays it very well. For instance, if I kill one of your pokemon and you bring in weavile, I automatically know you have low kick so i will switch out. Unless you predict that and knock off, weavile took 25% from rocks for no reason. Scarf tar also can be applied to this threat list. Also, toxic slowbro allows you to put mega altaria on a timer(if its non heal bell). Your team is weak to bisharp once zapdos gets low and when your opponent has +2 attack. You have to win one 50/50 if its at <50. I will replace zapdos with skarmory(counter skarmory) to better combat bisharp and other threats, but m scizor can become and problem. If you do not agree with I'm saying, then feel free to disregard my suggestions.
