[OVERVIEW]

- Guzzlord is a great wallbreaker thanks to its stellar offensive typing, coverage, and power.
- Additionally, its access to Draco Meteor allows Guzzlord to basically nuke anything that isn't Dragon-resistant.
- Its offensive typing also gives it great resistances to common types like Psychic, Electric, Water, and Grass, allowing it to check threats such as Slowbro, Vileplume, certain Heliolisk sets, and Rotom. This, combined with its massive HP stat, gives it good defensive utility on offensive teams.
- In particular, it's one of the best Slowbro checks in NU, a highly viable and common defensive Pokemon, which means that Guzzlord usually has several opportunities to switch in and deal damage in any given game.
- However, it's extremely slow, being outsped by the majority of the metagame.
- Fairy- and Ice-types like Diancie, Whimsicott, Sneasel, and Vanilluxe are extremely common, which means that Guzzlord will be constantly pressured in any match.
- Draco Meteor's Special Attack drops can also allow it to be setup fodder for sweepers like Vivillon and Incineroar

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

- Draco Meteor is a strong Dragon-type STAB move that smacks anything neutral to it.

- Dark Pulse is a more consistent move than Draco Meteor, but it's not as strong. It also allows Guzzlord to pressure Slowbro

- Fire Blast hits Sivally-Steel, Steelix, and Klinklang hard.

- Sludge Wave covers Fairy-types like Mega Audino and Whimsicott.

Set Details
========

- Choice Specs boosts Guzzlord's Special Attack significantly, allowing it to wallbreak.

- 252 Special Attack EVs further boost Guzzlord's power, while 60 Speed EVs allow Guzzlord to outspeed uninvested Vikavolt and Druddigon, as well as Piloswine.

- The rest of the EVs are put into Special Defense so Guzzlord can switch into Delphox and Slowbro more easily.

- Beast Boost is Guzzlord's only ability, boosting its Special Attack by one stage when it KOs another Pokemon.

Usage Tips
========

- Guzzlord is good at pressuring more passive playstyles because of its typing, as it can switch into common bulky Pokemon like Slowbro and Xatu, so play very liberally with Guzzlord against bulky teams.

- Draco Meteor's Special Attack drops can allow Guzzlord to be set up on by a plethora of setup sweepers like Vivillon, Aromatisse, and Diancie, so be wary of this when using it.

- Guzzlord can also be set up on if it locks itself into one of its coverage moves, as Sludge Bomb and Fire Blast can be taken advantage of by Klinklang, Toxicroak, Rhydon, and Houndoom respectively. Keep this in mind when using Guzzlord's coverage.

- Guzzlord despises any kind of hazards being up, as it relies on its bulk and typing to get free switch-ins and loses its ability to consistently switch into resisted hits with Spikes, Stealth Rock, and Toxic Spikes up.

Team Options
========

- Guzzlord fits well on offensive teams that can rely on its resistances to switch into common bulky threats like Slowbro, Slowking, and Vileplume, to gain free turns and wear down defensive teams. Additionally, since Guzzlord resists Fire, Pokemon such as Sneasel and Vanilluxe both fit on offensive teams and appreciate Guzzlord's Fire resist. Sneasel and Vanilluxe also handily resist Ice.

- Entry hazard setters like Garbodor, Steelix, and Ferroseed are great teammates for Guzzlord, as they can set entry hazards to wear down Guzzlord's defensive checks. Toxic Spikes from Garbodor also forces Diancie to use Heal Bell when it switches into Guzzlord, meaning that Guzzlord's team can gain a free turn from this.

- Fighting-type checks like Slowbro and Rotom can check Medicham and Passimian, two of Guzzlord's biggest threats.

- Fairy-type checks like Steelix, Garbodor, and Vileplume can help deal with Whimsicott and Diancie.

- Entry hazard removers like Rotom and Whimsicott can help preserve some of Guzzlord's defensive utility by ensuring that it doesn't get too worn down. Xatu can prevent hazards from going up altogether, making it also a viable teammate.

Other Options
=============

List some options for the Pokemon user that are plausible but not always recommended due to either being not consistent enough or too outclassed by other Pokemon in the metagame.

I'm gonna drop this because I have a lot of other stuff going on right now and I won't be able to get to this for probably a month. BTW if anyone wants to use the writing from my first set, I'd be totally fine with it.
