OU Gliscor [ou]

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 244 HP / 44 Def / 108 SpD / 112 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Toxic
- Roost

Despite sharing a typing with Landorus-T, Gliscor carves a strong niche for itself in OU, performing tricks the genie can't. Reliable recovery from Roost and Poison Heal makes it easy for Gliscor to stay healthy and perform the role of a tankier Stealth Rock user more effectively, as it makes Gliscor a much better check to metagame titans like Heatran and Toxapex, all of which Landorus-T can only dream of reliably checking. In fact, defensive Landorus-T has seen a decay in usage in the last few months, perhaps precisely for this reason. The Speed EVs let Gliscor outrun Timid Heatran, while some EVs are pumped into Defense for a better Mega Mawile matchup. Tornadus-T forms a good core with providing Defog and tackling problematic breakers like Mega Medicham and Kartana, whereas defensive variants of Magearna help with several special attackers and Ice-types.

Change the set so that Toxic is there instead of U-turn, the replay you linked literally has Toxic Gliscor in it and it's 20x better than uturn ever will be because you can actually wear down foggers like Torn-T/Scarf Lando along with being way more useful against a handful of things. .
it also makes a much better check to metagame titans like Heatran, Mega Mawile, and Toxapex
I would just say Heatran and Toxapex and leave out Mega Mawile since both Lando and Gliscor are kinda super shaky checks to it due to some of them running Ice Punch and Play Rough doing a dickload regardless.

Good work exploudit :D

Despite sharing a typing with Landorus-T, Gliscor carves a strong niche for itself in OU, performing tricks the genie can't. For starters, the Reliable recovery in from Roost and with Poison Heal makes it easy for Gliscor to stay healthy and perform the role of a tankier Stealth Rock user with perhaps more effectiveness more effectively, as it courtesy of the added recovery, it also makes Gliscor a much better check to metagame titans like Heatran and Toxapex, all of which Landorus-T can only dream of being called a reliable check to reliably checking. In fact,(AC) defensive Landorus-T has seen a (don't miss this) decay in usage in the last few months, and one of the reasons is perhaps Gliscor eclipsing it on that regard. perhaps precisely for this reason. The Speed EVs let Gliscor outrun Timid Heatran,(AC) and while some EVs are pumped into Defense for a better Mega Mawile matchup. Tornadus-T forms a good core with providing Defog and tackling problematic breakers like Mega Medicham and Kartana,(AC) and providing Defog whereas defensive variants of Magearna help with several special attackers and Ice-types.
