Huh? Me? Not this time...
Charizard-Gmax @ Life Orb
Ability: Solar Power
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Heat Wave
- Hurricane
- Scorching Sands / Blast Burn
- Protect
With an almighty Gigantamax forme released this generation, Charizard's powerful flame can melt absolutely anything. G-Max Wildfire is one of the most deadly attacks in the whole game, easily taking down the likes of Zacian-C, Rillaboom and Amoonguss while also heavily pressuring the opponent with its residual damage. Charizard is also capable of having one of the strongest Max Airstreams in the game when in sun, allowing it to boost its Speed to soaring heights as well and wreak further havoc. Scorching Sands is a decent coverage option that gives Charizard an even easier time dealing with common Fire-types like the omnipresent Incineroar. Blast Burn, on the other hand, allows Charizard to knock out just about anything that doesn't resist it, both in and out of Dynamax. Due to its desire to be in sun to keep Solar Power active, Charizard loves being on teams with Groudon and Torkoal, with the former appreciating the help in taking down Calyrex-I.
If you'd like to give Gigantamax Charizard a go, here is the team that PokeRaf used to qualify for and finish in 9th place in the Players Cup III Global Finals. https://pokepast.es/a4d6dabfdea0b07b
