/!\ IMPORTANT REMINDER /!\
The command does NOT cover moves legality. You have to make sure that the Pokemon and items (No berserk gene here!) you are using exist in National Dex through the gen9 natdex builder, and that its combination of moves is legal on it. The rest is covered by the command. Bringing an illegal set will count as an automatic loss.
To bring a Mega Evolution, just give a mega stone to a regular Pokemon.

Tournament Rules
- All general tournament rules and guidelines apply.
- This is a double elimination tournament! All players will play a minimum of two matches. Finals will be a Bo3 where losers bracket has to win two sets.
- Every round lasts at least 1 week.
- All matches are bo3 using the gen2customgame using the challenge command on Pokemon Showdown! or Smogtours, not Dragon Heaven or any other side server.
- Not using the challenge command or using illegal movesets will forfeit the game.
- All pokemon have the same movesets as in National Dex formats. The banlist can be found here.
- Replays of all tour games must be posted.
- If any tiering action occurs during the middle of a round, changes will take effect the next round.
Here's a brief rundown of MG2's mechanics:
- Abilities do not exist
- Special is seperated into Special Attack and Defense for all Pokemon.
- Moves are assigned to physical or special depending on typing.
- Physical: Normal, Fighting, Flying, Poison, Ground, Rock, Steel, Bug, Ghost, Fairy
- Special: Fire, Water, Grass, Electric, Psychic, Ice, Dark, Dragon
- Moves and Pokemon are their earliest versions.
- Standard GSC mechanics, e.g. rest can be called through sleep talk, steel resists ghost and dark types, etc.
- Air Balloon is not popped when hit by an attack (outside of Knock Off)
