Is just me or is this based my Type Optimisation Normal/Steel Zangoose? XP
Zangoose-Mega
Normal/Steel
Tough Claws
73/135/100/70/80/100
+Bullet Punch +Meteor Mash
Nah man, I just always envisioned Zangoose evolving a Steel typing to combat its Poison foeIs just me or is this based my Type Optimisation Normal/Steel Zangoose? XP
as much as i would like to see staraptor be buffed that much is true it would pretty much be gale wings in 6th genPriority Reckless sounds really broken... I think the ability should be toned down or something. Maybe make it so it gives twice as much recoil, or maybe just keep the original effect.
Toxicroak says hi.Maybe have Seviper’s Mega more fitting for its Zangoose rivalry. Ie. Poison/Fighting with Sheer Force. (Unique typing too)
Seems a little illogical but I like the idea of psuedo-STABHeat Wave: Gains 50% damage when used by Flying types. Or would this make Moltres too good?
Agree with both of these.Mega Launcher does fit Kingdra. And yes, Haxorus really should be Dragon/Steel.
There is no need to be offensive. Even if that's how you write, you can hurt people's feelings. In hindsight, I can see even with the new Ice weakness that Regenerator is busted (and I actually love that ability Sweet Dreams btw) and I guess Huge Power is lazy.Interesting meta, but... Some changes need to be made.
First of all, that Cresselia looks awful. I am not against the Psychic/Fairy typing, but Regenerator, fucking Regenerator, are you shitting me? Complete nonsense, and only makes an already annoying Pokemon even more stupid. How about this...
Cresselia: +Sweet Dreams, -Regenerator
Sweet Dreams: Any Pokemon currently asleep re-gain 12% of their health each turn.
There we go, a nice defensive ability for doubles (or even singles if you're willing to use RestTalk) that isn't complete aids, and also helps it be a better Darkrai counterpart.
Now, let's move on to Carnivine.
Jesus Christ, what the hell?! Where does Huge Power come from?! Now that's just lazy. Even I can do better than that. Watch!
Carnivine
G-Luke stats: 84/120/77/80/77/46 (484)
Abilities: +Arena Trap, +Strong Jaw, -Huge Power
New Moves: Ice Fang, Fire Fang, Thunder Fang, Leech Life, Draining Fang
Modified Moves:
Leech Life: Boosted by Strong Jaw.
Draining Fang: 80 BP, Physical Grass type move, contact, exclusive to Carnivine. (OPTIONAL)
So, lemme get this straight. Your Arena Trap only traps Ground types, yet when it came time to buff to buff the Grass type venus fly trap Pokemon, you didn't make the obvious call and instead did some hokey pokey Huge Power crap? Huh? Draining Fang is more or less a filler move just for the sake of Carnivine having a Strong Jaw-boosted STAB, but you can totally skip out on it if desired. Everything else is self-explanatory.
Those are the major weird things. Here's some other stuff that doesn't seem so hot:
Ghost/Fairy Misdreavus line is kinda odd. These Pokemon are supposed to be witches, not Fairies. If you were to give it a dual type at all, wouldn't Dark make most sense?
Tying in with the previous statement, we should really cut down on the amount of dual typings. The Zebstrika line may get Fire moves, sure, but tons of non-Fire Pokemon get Fire coverage, should we make them all Fire types? And Beartic doesn't scream Ice/Fighting at all, seems purely artificial just for the sake of "lol op stab combo". Same goes for Dusclops and Dusknoir.
Other than that, cool beans metagame! Seems pretty fun. Sorry if I seemed abrasive at times, that's how I write stuff. No harm intended to anyone
This is supposed to be one of those one and done Pet Mods. The only reason its supposed to be spread out is because I'd prefer to take time for it to flesh out and I like some form of community inputIMO you missed the mark a little on the type changes, Grass should be the fairy-killer, while Ice doesn't need a new thing to be super-effective against and should probably resist Ground instead of Fairy. Also, Grass and Bug should probably have less things resisting them, less overlapping resistances especially.
Also sheesh isn't it a bit reckless to plan on ending V1 on the second page?
I think it was more about fixing a few things that he liked, kinda like Choonmons but to Luke's taste. Although I do agree it does seem a little like that...Sounds like it opens a floodgate for everyone's personal Pet Mod.
Why should one be more privileged than anyone else?
