Pros:
- Furret is EXTREMELY adorable. Your opponents will NOT want to knock out Johto's Finest Pokemon.
- Tidy Up give this Pokemon an opportunity to be a set-up sweeper and/or a hazard remover. Tidy U is a hazard removing move that cannot be blocked by Ghost-types, unlike Rapid Spin, and Good As Gold, unlike Defog, and is only stopped by Taunt.
- Furret has better coverage options than its fellow Tidy Up user, Maushold, such as Brick Break for Kingambit and the elemental punches.
- Despite having a more colorful movepool than Maushold, Furret is still largely outclassed by it.
- While Furret may have one more Attack point than Maushold, the latter is faster and has Population Bomb as an incredibly strong STAB that helps to mitigate its own poor Attack.
- Furret has to rely on Double-Edge as its main STAB attack, in comparison, which dishes out heavy recoil on an already-frail Pokemon.
- Furret simply doesn't have the offensive stats to muscle past most of OU's premier threats without heavy support, and its frailty means even many neutral hits threaten to OHKO it in return, and finding set-up opportunities without heavy support is almost impossible.
- Furret's base speed of 90 may allow it to outrun threats such as Choice Scarf Gholdengo after a Tidy Up boost, but it's still not fast enough for it to keep pace with many of the Booster Energy Paradox Pokemon such as Walking Wake, Iron Valiant, Sandy Shocks, Iron Moth, and Roaring Moon.

It lets it resist Fighting-type attacks aimed for its Normal-typing such as Great Tusk's Close Combat, resist Sucker Punch from the likes of Kingambit, and gives its Play Rough a much-needed power boost. +1 Life Orb Tera Fairy Play Rough notably lets Furret OHKO offensive Great Tusk after a layer of Spikes.

Tidy Up is the main reason to use Furret at all, giving it +1 Attack and Speed while clearing any entry hazards. Double-Edge is Furret's strongest STAB option, netting OHKOs, at +1 Attack, vs Enamorus, Cinderace, Samurott-H, non-BE Sandy Shocks after 1 layer of Spikes, non-BE / Scarf Iron Valiant, and Sneasler. Knock Off is essential to let Furret get past Ghost-types that are immune to Double-Edge, including Dragapult, Gholdengo, and various offensive Pokemon that Terastallize into a Ghost-type. Knock Off is also nice for removing beneficial items such as Heavy-Duty Boots and Leftovers, making it easier for Furret to sweep later. Play Rough with Tera Fairy and +1 Attack lets Furret OHKO Tank Garchomp, offensive Great Tusk after 1 Spike layer,
To say Furret needs a heavy amount of support is an understatement. Dual-Screen support from Grimmsnarl and Alolan Ninetales will give Furret more set-up opportunities, although it'll need to be wary of Infiltrator Dragapult. Spikes setters like Ting-Lu, Garchomp, and Samurott-H let Furret net very important KOes vs Great Tusk and Sandy Shocks while also simply making it easier for Furret to sweep. Ground-type partners such as Great Tusk, Garchomp, and Sandy Shocks break through Steel-types which Furret struggles with, while Magnezone specifically deals with Corviknight. Heatran can be a solid switch-in to Will-o-Wisp, and Magma Storm, Taunt, and Earth Power can trap and remove Toxapex which completely blanks Furret. Enamorus deals with Great Tusk with Moonblast and Heatran with Earth Power, and Healing Wish gives Furret a second chance to sweep later in the game, letting Furret play more aggressively in the early-mid game. Alomomola can provide a very safe WishPass thanks to its slow speed and access to Flip Turn, and can also burn physical threats with Scald.
Overall:
Let's be real. We're not using Furret in OU. It might find a home in PU or something, but it's AG when it comes to cuteness, and it was very nice of Gamefreak to throw it a bone in the form of Tidy Up after so long. YouTubers WILL use this in OU for views, though, so there's that.
