[SET COMMENTS]
Fur Coat Yveltal is an effective wall capable of checking threatening physical and mixed wallbreakers like Mega Garchomp, Magic Guard Mega Mewtwo X, and No Retreat Ghost-types. Knock Off is a reasonably strong STAB attack and provides useful utility, while Revelation Dance hits Arceus-Ghost harder and allows Yveltal to check Normalize users. Haze and Parting Shot are useful against No Retreat Arceus-Ghost, with Parting Shot also providing pivoting but matching up worse against Nasty Plot Arceus-Ghost. Calm Mind is an option in tandem with Revelation Dance to also check Arceus-Ghost effectively, although all Fairy-types must be removed before attempting to sweep with it. Yveltal's powerful Dark-type STAB moves deter Ghost-types, making it an effective user of Rapid Spin. If entry hazard removal is not needed, Will-O-Wisp and Nuzzle act as options for neutering threats like Mega Mewtwo X. Ability Shield is an alternative to Heavy-Duty Boots to offer a much better matchup against Teravolt Kartana and Mega Mewtwo X, but Yveltal then requires strong hazard removal and still falls prey to Sword of Ruin variants. Yveltal is susceptible to threats like Mega Diancie and Kyurem-B, so Steel- and Fire-types like Solgaleo, Zacian-C, and Victini are good teammates, and they can also provide a degree of scouting against Choice Band Mega Mewtwo X. Aforementioned offensive threats like Magic Guard Mega Mewtwo X can be Imposter-proofed by Yveltal. Knock Off variants can be Imposter-proofed by Arceus formes, while Revelation Dance sets can be Imposter-proofed by Chansey.
