Foongus @ Eviolite
Ability: Regenerator
Level: 5
EVs: 124 HP / 156 Def / 156 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Spore
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Hidden Power Fire / Hidden Power Fighting / Synthesis
Foongus is an LC tier titan, finding itself as staple Pokemon on balance teams. With a Grass / Poison typing, it finds itself as one of the best pivots in the tier, switching in frequently to huge threats in the tier like Mienfoo and Snivy. Having Regenerator to heal off any damage taken allows it to pop back up throughout the match, checking these Pokemon indefinitely. It is also used a lot for its annoying utility move Spore, which paired with its dual STAB coverage, makes Foongus hard to check safely. Foongus finds itself weak to Flying- and Fire-type moves as well as struggling to hit Poison-types, which are really common in LC. This can be neutralized by using Foongus in a core with Onix, which resists all three types and threatens them with its STAB moves. Try Foongus yourself, he's a fun guy!
