First Ever VGC team. Would like some advice.

Hello, I got back into Pokemon a few years ago and have been wanting to try competitive battling for a while. I figure VGC17 would be a great time to do more than just watch videos, read ideas, etc. This is obviously a work in progress so any constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated.

1.
Ninetales-Alola @ Focus Sash
Ability: Snow Warning
Level: 50
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Protect
- Ice Shard
- Moonblast
- Blizzard

I really like Alolan Ninetales so I knew I wanted to use it. It has snow warning which gives 100% accurate blizzard and removes opponents weather if switched in. I figure Moonblast, Blizzard and Protect are obvious but Ice Shard is just in case I need some priority to get a KO.

2.
Sandslash-Alola @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Slush Rush
Level: 50
EVs: 132 HP / 252 Atk / 124 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Protect
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide
- Icicle Crash

From what I understand, this is Alolan Ninetales new best friend. It's ability Slush Rush doubles its speed in the hail. Rock slide is there to try to get flinches while I feel the other 3 are obvious. 124 speed EVs helps me outspeed.

3.
Marowak-Alola @ Thick Club
Ability: Lightning Rod
Level: 50
EVs: 124 HP / 252 Atk / 132 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Protect
- Shadow Bone
- Flare Blitz
- Bonemerang

From what I've seen, this is a very common Pokemon to use so I assume the reasons for the moves don't need to be explained. The 132 in speed is to outspeed Celesteela which was causing trouble with sub leech seed. With this spread I can outspeed it and OHKO it. it can also be effective in TR because despite outspeeding Celesteela it is still really slow.

4.
Tapu Lele @ Psychium Z
Ability: Psychic Surge
Level: 50
EVs: 12 HP / 4 SpA / 236 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Moonblast
- Protect
- Substitute

This one I wasn't to sure about. I figured having a Tapu would be a good idea if just to get rid of opposing terrains so I decided to go with Lele. Psychic terrain can help me avoid any fake outs or other priority I run into. I figure it may cause problems if I need to use a priority move but the situation still hasn't come up. I figure I can hopefully force a switch or protect and get up a sub and get an extra attack or 2. Psychium Z because it, well, it hits hard.

5.
Porygon2 @ Eviolite
Ability: Download
Level: 50
EVs: 244 HP / 252 SpA / 12 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Trick Room
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
- Tri Attack

First, it eats up hits, Second, it has solid coverage moves, hits hard and I have the option of running TR if my opponents are faster or even getting rid of it if I'm faster somehow.

6.
Muk-Alola @ Assault Vest
Ability: Poison Touch
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Poison Jab
- Stone Edge
- Return Shadow Sneak

This thing is hard to get rid of unless you hit it on the physical side or use ground moves. Knock off is convenient to get rid of dangerous items. Poison jab destroys fairies(including the tapus). Stone edge was effective when I faced flying types and didn't have Porygon. I just put return there because I needed a fourth move. It's also slow, obviously, so if I go TR it makes a great partner for Marowak or Porygon.

Overall, that's my team. I know it's not great or anything but it's what I came up with and worked solidly well. That said, I would love to improve it so any ideas would be helpful. I figure lack of intimidate might be a problem but wasn't sure who to switch out if so.

Edit: Somehow didn't notice Muk gets shadow sneak. This seems like a much better choice for his fourth move. Would be great in cases where I am close to getting the KO but am slower.
