Hey there! This is a version of a team I made a while ago that works pretty well. Don't take this team too seriously, as honestly I made it just for fun! Hence meaning that I don't have a tank, proper pivot, or many of the factors needed for actual games. I simply brute-force my way into winning battles, hope you enjoy the team!!
GroundBoi (Landorus-Therian) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Intimidate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Explosion
First mon = Landorus-Therian, the staple of OU. Unlike normal Landorus sets, this one relies on dumb plays by the opponents. Usually I start off with this mon, set up stealth rocks, sometimes set up a swords dance to lure in fast and dangerous mons, then either eq or explosion to reset the field. This mon usually never lives, and its made to have some fun with pissing off opponents.
TapuBoi (Tapu Koko) @ Light Clay
Ability: Electric Surge
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Taunt
- U-turn
- Light Screen
- Reflect
Heres an unexpected set for a common mon in this metagame. Tapu-Koko switch ins on mons like corviknight, dragonite, + more scary mons usually lures in switches, which lets us set up for the next mon discussed. Usually set up either a light screen or reflect first, then when the opponent realizes whats going on, you taunt before they can defog. U-turn is used to swap into another mon after setting up screens. This mon is honestly hilarious to use, and also baits in mons like ferro and blissey, which are extremely vulnerable to taunt.
DragoBoi (Dragapult) @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Clear Body
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Darts
- Phantom Force
- Fire Blast
This might just be my favorite set ever. A dragapult with screens is SO DAMN DEADLY its hilarious. First turn set up a dragon dance, if you got hit by something that pops weakness policy, you sweep with x1.5 speed (Overpowered with a dragapult), x2.5 attack, and 2x SPA. Dragon darts and phantom force are the usual attacking moves, and fire blast is an unexpected Ferro/Kartana killer. I usually get this mon on the field right after Tapu sets up, and sweep from there.
BugBoi (Volcarona) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flamethrower
- Quiver Dance
- Bug Buzz
- Psychic
Common mon on HO teams, setting up a quiver dance behind screens works well if ur Tapu lived. I opted for Psychic instead of Giga drain to kill Toxapex/Urshifu, and flamethrower over fiery dance because setting up SPA isn't really a problem for us. This mon isn't solidified on the team tho, so use this as ur "I might wanna switch this mon out for another)". (Also obv heavy duty to ensure it lives after stealth rocks)
DarkBoi (Weavile) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Triple Axel
- Knock Off
- Ice Shard
Strong Weavile set, with swords dance + priority shard, this mon could be deadly. I haven't used this much on the team yet, but so far I'm liking the high damage that can be given after an unlucky switch for the opponents. Knock off is helpful for bulky mons, and triple axel for mons like Tornadus-T and Lando-T. You could also opt for Protective Pads> Heavy duty but I decided to go for Heavy-Duty because I don't really have a Defogger.
PoleBoi (Celesteela) @ Power Herb
Ability: Beast Boost
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 88 HP / 196 SpA / 224 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Air Slash
- Flamethrower
- Meteor Beam
- Autotomize
Amazing last minute sweeper, Ev Spread is to ensure it lives a flamethrower from stronger mons with stab, and speed is out outspeed a couple of mons. Setting up an Autotomize behind screens is incredibly fun, with meteor beam giving us x1.5 SPA right after. With beast boost, we get another SPA boost, which lets us sweep pretty easily late game.
And yea that's pretty much the team! Leave some feedback below and lmk if you guys want me to make another team like this!
