I work in college admissions. I hate being the bad guy, but sometimes I have to make the decision that a kid doesn’t get into college

If I had one piece of advice for the system that we use, it would be to not display this message after I deny a kid. Or at least remove the confetti

I am a bouncer at a bar TA for an undergraduate course in quantum physics, and today's their final. Yesterday, a student asked about how to solve a particularly difficult problem from the homework, and I walked them through how to think about it. Now, as I parse through the final exam, the exact question I walked the guy through is on the final and I just know this dude who going to be telling his friends later "I'm so glad that I asked how to do it yesterday".
