:ss/dragapult:

Oh Dragapult, you diversify so fast!

[SET]
name: Bulky Status
move 1: Will-O-Wisp
move 2: Hex
move 3: Substitute
move 4: Disable / Draco Meteor / Flamethrower / Surf
item: Leftovers
ability: Infiltrator
nature: Timid
evs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
tera type: Steel / Fairy / Water

[SET COMMENTS]

* With usable bulk bolstered by Will-O-Wisp, this Dragapult can severely punish its weaker offensive checks.

* Disable makes Dragapult rely on Will-O-Wisp for Normal-types, but when combined with Substitute, it defeats Choice-locked foes and those that rely on one specific move to beat Dragapult.

* Draco Meteor improves Dragapult against other Dragon-types, particularly Hydreigon and itself.

* Flamethrower lets Dragapult deal decent unconditional damage to Steel-types, with Kingambit being the biggest target.

* Surf is decent coverage, but its main niche is with Tera Water to hit foes that may Terastallize into a Fire-type to block Will-O-Wisp, such as Garchomp, Annihilape, and Azumarill.

* Dragon Darts with a Naive nature gives Dragapult a consequence-free Dragon-type attack and decent mixed attacking potential.

Tera Types
========

* **Steel**: Steel Tera type is great for general defense and Fairy-types such as Azumarill and Mimikyu.

* **Fairy**: With a Fairy Tera type, Dragapult preforms better against most Dragon-types.

* **Water**: Besides being a good defensive typing, a Water Tera type lets Dragapult hit common Tera Fire foes such as Garchomp much harder.

Got this thing ready! I did make a few changes from the sample set (since the meta has been changing lol)

- I deslashed Cursed Body. I can mention it if you want, but I think hitting through subs and dual screens has been a lot more important than the chance to pull some disable trickery.

- I slashed in Water tera and Surf. I can just make them mentions if yall want because its not super common... but IT IS nice for messing with the glut of Fire teras that have been popping up specifically to mess with sets like this lol.

- Added in Draco Meteor, its around just because smacking dragons is good lol.

I hate it, which means it looks good.

Personally I’ve seen disable and meteor more than flamethrower, but when I fight this set I either tend to delete it immediately or instantly lose to it LOL, so maybe it’s just that my team is more vulnerable to those other two moves. Regardless, solid analysis as always!

Thanks! I actually just swapped Flamethrower's placement since, I think it is true that Disable and Draco Meteor are more common atm.

Anyways, this is ready for GP!

I've seen similar sets to this one, but they're mixed with Darts as the 4th move and a Naive nature. Don't know how common it is but I figured I'd mention it.

Well, it might be worth a mention that -atk Pult can only have 19 Atk IV at most to live STAB(not also tera) Foul Play. That # might be worth putting in, since it shows you just need a # w/in a range, not specifically 0/1, which is harder to breed for.

* With usable bulk being bolstered by Will-O-Wisp, this Dragapult can severely punish its softer (not sure what that means here) offensive checks.

* Disable does makes Dragapult rely on Will-O-Wisp for Normal-types, but when combined with Substitute, it defeats Choice-locked foes and can ruin foes those that rely on one specific move to beat Dragapult.

* Draco Meteor gives Dragapult a better match up against opposing Dragon-types, with Hydreigon and opposing Dragapult being particularly important targets improves Dragapult against other Dragon-types, particularly Hydreigon and itself.

* Flamethrower lets Dragapult deal decent unconditional damage to Steel-types outside of Hex, with Kingambit being the biggest target.

* Surf is decent coverage, but its main niche is using it with Tera Water to hit foes that may Terastallize into a Fire-type to dodge block Will-O-Wisp, such as Garchomp, Annihilape, and Azumarill.

* Dragon Darts with a Naive nature can be used to give gives Dragapult a consequence-free Dragon-type attack and decent mixed attacking potential.

Tera Types
========

* **Steel**: Steel Tera type gives Dragapult a better match-up against Fairy-types such as Azumarill and Mimikyu, and is just a great defensive typing in general is great for general defense and Fairy-types such as Azumarill and Mimikyu.

* **Fairy**: With a Fairy Tera type, Dragapult preforms better against most Dragon-types.

* **Water**: Besides being a good defensive typing, a Water Tera type lets Dragapult hit common Tera Fire foes such as Garchomp much harder.
