Claiming silver after I finally broke top 10 today! Definitely punching well above my weight, and not sure if I get extra points for doing the whole thing with a Donphan and Vaporeon, but it's always a better feeling when you can win with your favourites.
Claiming bronze brave and bronze knowledge achievements
My initial goal was to reach top50 with a stall i built myself - which is now done. 1600 elo still seems to be out of my reach for now though...
Zong is payback because sub ghost were annoying, but otherwise i guess you could run Toxic instead to have a bit of an easier time against opposing latis. Yes, this team dies to CM Clef but nobody uses that on the ladder somehow

I thought it'd be funny to do a monotype team rain that wasn't water, and it actually worked way better than I thought it would. Ultimately, the idea centered around SD Kabutops, as I have one named Bethany on my old HeartGold copy (302 represent). I didn't build the team with the intention of making it only fossils, but it kind of just happened that way when I was working out coverage and calcs. I started around 1000, ended up mostly hovering around 1300, and peaked at 1333 before falling off after trying to get to 1350. The replay below is the match I peaked at. As you can see, this wasn't the best team, and I'm far from the best player, but the team was still super fun to use.
Idk what to say, grinding the ladder is not good for one's mental health. Taking a break for a few days was quite helpful rather than spamming games non stop. Aight gonna watch the latest blue lock episode, peace.
Also shoutout to Janik this guy coulda just finnessed me but ff'd after pulling a fast one, putting me 1 game off the goal. https://emojipedia.org/skull/ he def woulda torched me like the other game previously. What a great guy, its important to make friends and thats something I've really enjoyed about playing this tier.
