[OVERVIEW]
With its natural bulk and unique coverage, Silvally-Dragon is able to serve as a consistent setup sweeper. Its typing allows Silvally-Dragon to set up on Pokemon like Heliolisk and Tsareena. However, it is unable to provide much defensive utility throughout a match without jeopardizing its ability to sweep. Silvally-Dragon also ends up competing with Silvally-Steel, -Ghost, and -Fairy as a setup sweeper, as these types typically provide more defensive utility and find easier setup opportunities.

[SET COMMENTS]
Silvally-Dragon is able to muscle through most foes with its STAB Multi-Attack. Iron Head nails Fairy-types like Aromatisse and Whimsicott. Flame Charge allows Silvally-Dragon to hit Steel-types such as Togedemaru and Silvally-Steel harder and outspeed Ribombee, Archeops, and Choice Scarf users like Passimian and Mesprit. With its offensive nature, Silvally-Dragon finds itself most commonly on Spikes stacking or dual screens offense teams. Silvally-Dragon struggles to get past physically defensive Pokemon like Regirock and Weezing, even after a boost, so it benefits from other wallbreakers like Nasty Plot Toxicroak and Mesprit. Healing Wish support from Mesprit lets Silvally-Dragon be more aggressive and wear down Weezing and Sandaconda without being too bothered by chip damage and potential status. Dual screens support from Xatu allows Silvally-Dragon to boost more comfortably on Pokemon like Heliolisk and Tsareena. Garbodor can check Silvally-Fairy and provide Spikes to better facilitate a sweep. Steel-types like Togedemaru and Aggron deal with opposing Fairy-types, and in return, Silvally-Dragon is able to break past Pokemon like Lanturn and Magmortar.
