<DECONFIRMED> Confirmed lost moves from Sw/Sh, BD/SP, and PLA

UPDATE: This whole thread is useless now, as expected, as moves do not transfer from said Sw/Sh, BD/SP, nor PLA

RE-POSTED, cause i posted it in the wrong board, so here it is in where it should be

This is assuming it counts more than just level-up moves which we'll have to wait until HOME comes out to see if it is the case, hence the "Unconfirmed" in the title. Hell this whole thread could even be useless for all i know.

They're probably gonna be banned in Ranked Battles (a.k.a. VGC).

Any transfer moves from Gen 7 or older are still off the table (ex; no Scald Greninja, no Superpower Honchkrow, no Toxic nor Knock Off on most mons still, no Roost or Defog on nearly anything past Gen 4, no Event moves), one example being Hydreigon can't keep Defog but Dragonite

Here's the PokePaste for all the moves in it - https://pokepast.es/61efb08088c6199b (Now indludes pre-evos)
* = learns it via level-up in PLA
Bold = 2-stage pre-evo learns it
Italic = a middle pre-evo learns it
Bold and Italic
= the whole 3-stage line learns it

Something worth mentioning is that Weavile also gets Loaded Dice Icicle Spear, which is somewhat more reliable than Triple Axel. A lot of other Pokemon like Glastrier and Dragonite regain Icicle Spear & Scale shot which can be more effective tools now with Loaded Dice.

Hisui-Decidueye gets Spikes from PLA which let it be both a hazard setter & remover now.

Bisharp regains Throat Chop, which is pretty nice since its a sizable upgrade from Night Slash (roughly in between a Muscle Band & Black Glasses in terms of power boost).

Reminder that, contrary to popular belief, the moves of stuff that cannot be transfered to SwSh HAVE NOT BEEN WHIPPED OFF, it is just display shenanigans in the Switch version of HOME, while you can see them with no issues in the mobile version. The movesets are still saved thus far.

wide lens triple axel is better in that case imo, 120 reliable power > a toss between 125, 100

Milotic deserves all the toys it can get, poor guy has always looked at Gyarados' movepool with envy lol.

Still, Scald getting a power drop to Scorching Sands' level at least, and a more limited distribution, with more Fire types and less Water types getting it, would IMO be a good choice. Surf shouldn't be utterly outclassed by it.

Still, the Slow twins would likely keep it anyway. Between Slowbro using it in Unite, and them being able to learn Fire Blast since 1996, it technically makes sense on them, more than in your random average fish.
