Crustle earns its place as one of the best threats in the 1v1 tier, being able to always beat non-Substitute Primarina, Zeraora, and Porygon-Z with its powerful Choice Band-boosted Rock Wrecker. Rock Blast, though relying on rolls for some of its matchups, will always take down Volcarona and FEAR Togedemaru, and can potentially take down opposing Shell Smash Crustle. Earthquake helps Crustle against non-Air Balloon Aegislash and Choice Band Steelix. Counter allows Crustle to take down Choice item threats like Urshifu-S and Conkeldurr that would normally 2HKO Crustle and take one of its hits. Heavy Slam alternatively helps Crustle beat non-Babiri Berry Sylveon and Whimsicott more reliably. The given spread allows for Crustle to always survive a Choice Band-boosted Outrage from Adamant Mold Breaker Haxorus as well as two Air Slash from Choice Scarf Togekiss and KO them back with Rock Wrecker. 29 Speed IVs and a Brave nature allow Crustle to underspeed Aegislash and OHKO non-Air Balloon Blade forme variants. The rest of the EVs are invested into Attack to maximize Crustle's damage output, which helps it OHKO Pokemon such as Hydreigon, Dracovish, and Aromatisse.

Stall Arcanine is an exception to the Fire-type Pokemon that Crustle can normally beat, since it can use Burn Up to lose its Fire typing and then stall you out with the combination of Will-O-Wisp and Morning Sun. Life Orb Salazzle is another exception due to it being able to bypass Sturdy with Fake Out and then almost always OHKO Crustle with Overheat. Pixie Plate Sylveon is an exceptional partner for Crustle due to it being able to break through a lot of Pokemon that Crustle normally can't beat, like stall and Sturdy users, while also generally beating a lot of Pokemon that resist Crustle's attacks. Pokemon that Sylveon can cover for Crustle include Dragapult, Urshifu-R, stall Azumarill and Rotom-W, Galarian Corsola, Kommo-o, and Sawk, among other threats. Assault Vest Primarina is another Fairy-type that can be used as a teammate, able to take out threats such as Dracovish, Arcanine, Salazzle, and Skarmory, though it is more prone to stall Pokemon. Crustle in return can defeat Pokemon that Primarina and Sylveon struggle against such as Galarian Darmanitan, Zeraora, and Dracozolt.

Crustle earns its place as one of the most anti-meta threats (<— Crustle is most definitely not an anti-meta threat, it’s really high up there in terms of top tier mons) in the tier being able to counter Primarina, Galarian Darmanitan, and Dracovish with its powerful Choice Band boosted Rock Wrecker. (<— You’re not countering the really fat Primarina sets that have been running around. Your matchup is generally solid but I don’t think that near max / max can be ignored. Substitute is also an option as nobody will be clicking Rock Blast unless they know the opponent is running sub, so an unsuspecting opponent will always click Rock Wrecker. This is nitpicky, but we know Primarina is extremely versatile so the fact that it has the tools to deal with band Crustle is enough to remove it as a counter.) Rock Blast, though relying on rolls for some of its matchups can potentially take down opposing Shell Smash Crustle, and will always take down FEAR Togedemaru. (<— Sub disable Salazzle is another good mention.) Earthquake is usually quite niche as Rock Wrecker still does more damage in most cases thanks to it being STAB, even when Earthquake is super-effective, but this still helps Crustle against Aegislash and Steelix. (<— Quake being an already niche option means that you should better specify it’s targets, which are mainly non-Air Balloon Aegislash, non-Torment Steelix, and Choice Scarf Excadrill.) Heavy Slam helps beat non-Babiri Berry Sylveon and Whimsicott. The HP and Defense are optimized to take the most physical hits while still having HP to spare for the special side. 29 Speed IVs and a Brave nature allows Crustle to underspeed Aegislash and OHKO it in its Blade forme.

In most situations, it's usually kill-or-die for Crustle, so stall Pokemon like Arcanine, Galarian Corsola, Corviknight, and Mandibuzz usually can either take a hit, or use a status move to take one, and stall Crustle out. This means that stallbreakers like Choice Specs Rotom-H, Sylveon, and Nasty Plot Hydreigon make good teammates for Crustle. In return, Crustle can beat Shell Smash Crustle, Choice Band Cinderace, and Unnerve Haxorus for these teammates. Crustle also has a general weakness to Sturdy users other than opposing Crustle such as Avalugg, Sawk, and Togedemaru. Teammates that can cover these weaknesses like Galarian Corsola and stall Rotom-W make good partners. In return, Crustle can take down Sylveon, Aqua Jet Primarina, and Gastrodon. (<— Crustle isn’t beating Gastrodon, and I discussed the problem with Primarina above.)

i specified primarina to be non-substitute but with the bulk part:

Modest:252/0/112/140/4/0 9.201%

Modest:20/0/252/188/0/48 3.175%
Modest:252/0/56/184/0/16 2.852%

non of the common spreads (>6%) have enough evs to tank crustle, which is what we're basing most of our counters / checks on. this will probably shift in the future since meta has changed quite a bit but i'll keep it like this for rn

Crustle earns its place as one of the best threats in the tier being able to counter non-Substitute Primarina, Zeraora, and Galarian Darmanitan with its powerful Choice Band boosted Rock Wrecker. (ohko is probably a better word here if that's what it does bc definition of counter is kinda shaky. this is more optional tho) Rock Blast, though relying on rolls for some of its matchups can potentially take down opposing Shell Smash Crustle, Trick Porygon-Z, and will always take down FEAR Togedemaru, Salazzle, and Volcarona, and Sturdy Togedemaru - makes it clearer what you're referring to + clarifies set. (rephrase this sentence to start with the matchups it always wins as better justification to why you want it then talk about more unreliable ones after) Earthquake is usually quite niche as Rock Wrecker still does more damage in most cases thanks to it being STAB, even when Earthquake is super-effective and Rock Wrecker is neutral - makes it clearer later on why you'd eq vs aegi / lix too (add some targets that you would still click rock wrecker vs even if they're ground weak), but this still helps Crustle against non-Air Balloon Aegislash, non-Torment Steelix. Counter allows Crustle to take down Choice Band threats that will normally 2HKO Crustle and take one of its hits, like Urshifu-R (doesn't this have a multi-hit water move? if you mean the dark one its Urshifu-S), Conkeldurr, and Sawk. Heavy Slam alternatively helps beat non-Babiri Berry Sylveon and Whimsicott. The HP and Defense are optimized to take the most physical hits while still having HP to spare for the special side. (what does this actually mean? for spreads on analyses you wanna explain every part of your spread bc analyses are resources for new players and saying that doesn't actually tell me anything at all. what does the investment do?) 29 Speed IVs and a Brave nature allows Crustle to underspeed Aegislash and OHKO it in its Blade forme.

In most situations, it's usually kill-or-die for Crustle, so stall Pokemon like Arcanine, Galarian Corsola, Corviknight, and Mandibuzz usually can either take a hit, or use a status move to take one, and stall Crustle out. (there's no point in saying it's niche while having it as a main-set move, so you might as well just mention the pros of the move) Counter allows Crustle to take down Choiced threats that will normally 2HKO Crustle and take one of its hits, like Urshifu-S and Conkeldurr. Heavy Slam alternatively helps beat non-Babiri Berry Sylveon more reliably and Whimsicott. The EV investment allows for Crustle to always live Outrage from Adamant Choice Band Mold Breaker Haxorus, as well as two of Choice Scarf Togekiss' Air Slash and KO back with Rock Wrecker. 29 Speed IVs and a Brave nature allows Crustle to underspeed Aegislash and OHKO non-Air Balloon variants it in its Blade forme, while the rest is invested into Atk to maximize damage output, maximise damage output, which helps OHKO Pokemon such as Zeraora Hydreigon, Primarina Dracovish, and Aromatisse. (trying to avoid redundancy by mentioning Zera and Prim again)

Stall Arcanine is an exception to the Fire-type archetype that your normally beat, since it can use Burn Up to lose its typing then stall you out with the combination of Will-O-Wisp and Morning Sun. Life Orb Salazzle is another exception due to it being able to bypass Sturdy with Fake Out and then almost always OHKO you with Overheat. Pokemon that Sylveon can cover for Crustle include Dragapult, Urshifu-R, stall Azumarill and Rotom-W, Corsola-G, Kommo-o, and Sawk, among other threats. Assault Vest Primarina is another Fairy-type that could be used as a teammate, though it is more prone to stall but is able to take out threats such as most Dracovish and, Arcanine, Salazzle, and Skarmory over Sylveon. (I'm not completely sold on suggesting AV Prim just yet because of the Porygon-Z redundancy, but you mentioned LO Salazzle as a crustle beater that you need to check, and then suggested 2 pokemon that both lose to salazzle with their standard sets. I think specifying AV Prim here just so we can beat both mons that we listed as exceptions to crustle's hitlist is beneficial)

I think you could add more in the second paragraph, mostly because so much of it is newly written. prim and sylveon are both solid partners, and you did a great job of explaining the mons/archetypes that they cover for crustle. make sure you return the favor and talk about crustle's solid mus against mons that sylv/prim struggle with as greater reason to partner these mons. implement these changes and draft up the rest of the second paragraph for qc 2/2
