Despite Comfey's cute looks, it's one of the tier's most annoying Pokemon to face due to its passable defensive stats, great Fairy typing, and fantastic ability in Triage. With its STAB attack, Draining Kiss, having +3 priority, Comfey is capable of revenge killing plenty of top-tier threats, such as Passimian, Sneasel, and Medicham, as well as having good damage output against common foes like Incineroar, Heliolisk, and Rotom, being a menace for offensive teams to face. Calm Mind increases its Special Attack and Special Defense, allowing it to take on Pokemon that could otherwise check it with its coverage moves; Giga Drain deals with bulky Water-types like Slowbro, Slowking, and Vaporeon, which could otherwise put it on a timer with Toxic, whereas Hidden Power Fire nails troublesome Steel-types such as Steelix, Silvally-Steel, and Klinklang. Comfey's Speed investment allows it to outspeed Klinklang and deal an average of 91% to it at +1.
