Breeding Variants V3

Have you ever seen those cool fanart posts where someone makes drawings of a Pokemon and what they would look like if their offspring took traits from their breeding partner? This Pet Mod will take this concept and put it into a playable form. It'll work something like this:

Submission Rules
You would start with a "base" Pokemon that will take traits from a chosen breeding partner, or "donor", from the same egg group (Baby Pokemon take on the egg group of their parent(s).

:swsh/eelektross: :swsh/chandelure:

Let's use these two Pokémon as an example. As the base, Eelektross would take the following traits from Chandelure:

- A type to replace one of his current ones
- 5 moves from Chandelure’s movepool
- One of Chandelure’s abilities
- Average out one of Chandelure’s base stats with his corresponding stat, like this: (95 + 145) / 2
- Some sort of fitting suffix to denote the newly made alternate form
- A dex entry
In the end, it'll look something like this:

:swsh/eelektross:

Name: Eelektross-Luminous (Eelek + Chandelure)
Egg Group: Amorphous

Stats: 85 / 115 / 80 / 125 / 80 / 50 (535 BST)
Type:

New Moves: Will-O-Wisp, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Energy Ball, Calm Mind
Abilities: Levitate / Flash Fire

Dex Entry: This is just an example, and I don’t really feel creative, so just be sure to make something cool and concise for your sub.

Other submission rules include avoiding the use of previously used bases AND donors, as well as a max of 5 submissions at once. Keep your subs balanced in mind for OU's power level. Unlike Fusion Evolution this'll be a relatively small expansion on the OU meta rather than a several-hundred-mon behemoth that's ridiculously difficult to keep track of, probably 20-40 new mons or so with 4-5 winners per slate. In addition, don't mix mons that can only be the same gender as each other (eg no gallade + another mon in its egg group that's male only)

Anyways, have a submission template:
Pokemon Name: (X + Y)
Egg Group:

Stats:
Type:
New Moves:
Abilities:
Height
: (Optional)
Weight: (Optional)

Dex Entry:
Competitive Use:

Banlist
While it's impossible to have a banlist expanded upon the current OU one, all Pokemon tiered higher than RUBL + Ditto are banned as bases.
Ditto gives everything Impostor and the UU+ ban is to prevent subs from devolving into "make an already good Pokemon even better". As for donors, Ditto is also banned for the same reason it's banned as a base, and Smeargle is banned because even with its crappy stats, Sketch along with access to the entire Field egg group would get out of hand real quickly.

Format
V3 of this format will be based around Regional Dex OU with Dynamaxing banned, just like V2. Only Pokemon in the Galar Pokedex (including Isle of Armor and Crown Tundra Pokédex) + eligible Foreign Pokemon (i.e. the remaining Kanto starters and Alola starters) can be used as bases, but anything (including National Dex mons) can be used as a donor. For the sake of accelerated meta development, all of the aforementioned foreign Pokemon will be themselves legal albeit only with their Galar learnsets.

Alright, sorry for the wait everyone, but now it is time to open the first slate of Breeding Variants V3!

Slate 1:
:heracross: :scizor: :ninjask:
(Some famous Pokémon from the Bug egggroup)
For this slate, you may only submit variants of Pokémon from the Bug egg group. There’s pretty much nothing else to say here, except that remember to read the rules for submissions, and that submissions will close on June 5th. Have fun!

Pokemon Name: Ninjask-Flare (Ninjask + Volcarona)
Egg Group: Bug

Stats: 61 / 90 / 45 / 90 / 50 / 160 (496 BST)
Type: Bug/Fire
New Moves: Quiver Dance, Fiery Dance, Heat Wave, Psychic, Mystical Fire
Abilities: Speed Boost / Swarm

Dex Entry: A Ninjask born after years of Unova inhabitants breeding them with Volcarona. The first to discover this unique subspecies was Alder himself.
Competitive Use: A fast special sweeper with much more versatility than a regular Ninjask with its existing and new Special moves combined. It can even speed its sweeps along with Quiver Dance and/or Fiery Dance, a trait it definitely gets from Volcarona. To make things even better, it has both Speed Boost from Ninjask and Swarm from Volcarona, maximizing its unpredictability of whether you will run a Speed Boost sweeper set or a more deceptive Swarm sweeper set. All in all, a surprisingly solid combination. It can even run mixed sets.

Golisopod-Spotted (Golisopod + Orbeetle)
Egg Group: Bug

Stats: 75/125/140/60/105/40
Type: Bug/Psychic
New moves: U-Turn, Zen Headbutt, Recover, Psychic, Infestation
Abilities: Emergency Exit/Frisk
Dex Entry: To better combat Grapploct, Golisopod bred with Orbeetle. It gained psychic abilities, however it no longer lives in watery locations, and thus doesn't need to fight the Grapploct.

Competitive Analysis: Golisopod no longer needs to use Emergency Exit! It will most likely be a bulky pivot that can break past walls with First Impression due to its newfound access to U-Turn, and be able to reliably heal with Recover.

Pokémon Name: Frosmoth-Static (+ Galvantula)
Egg Group: Bug
Stats: 70/65/60/125/90/86 | 496 BST
Type: Ice/Electric
New Moves: Thunder, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Sticky Web, Thunder Wave
Abilities: Shield Dust, Compound Eyes, Ice Scales
Height: 1.0m
Weight: 28.1kg
Dex Entry: A Dynamax Frosmoth managed to escape from its den and mingle with a wild Galvantula. Only some of the offspring managed to inherit their father's eyes, but all of them have one thing in common: If they find an adversary unaffected by the cold, then they will resort to electrifying the cold particles involved.
Competitive Use: A faster Frosmoth with BoltBeam coverage and bonus webs.

Pokémon Name: Araquanid-Suiton (+ Accelgor)
Egg Group: Bug
Stats: 68/70/92/75/132/42 | 479 BST
Type: Water/Bug
New Moves: Water Shuriken, Recover, Spikes, Knock Off, U-turn
Abilities: Water Bubble, Sticky Hold, Water Absorb
Height: 1.3m
Weight: 53.6kg
Dex Entry: A ninja and his Accelgor trained themselves at the Lake of Outrage. The first time they fought an Araquanid, the ninja was fascinated by its style of using bubbles as a defense mechanism and to hurt its adversaries. Thus, he captured his own Araquanid and had his Accelgor breed with it to empower the species with ninjutsu and self-sustenance techniques. What the resulting Araquanid lack in speed, they make up for with fortitude and power.
Competitive Use: Reliable recovery makes Araquanid a less disposable tank, Spikes offers a new kind of hazard to set, Knock Off is probably the best non-STAB it could ask for, a slow U-turn makes it a better pivot, and the slight boost to Special Attack makes Scald more usable while also enhancing a fresh priority option in Water Shuriken.

:ss/drapion: + :gliscor:
Name: Drapion-Glide (Drapion + Gliscor)
Egg Group: Bug
Stats: 70/90/110/52/75/95
Type: Dark/Flying
New Moves: Acrobatics, Aerial Ace
Abilities: Battle Armor/Sniper/Poison Heal
Dex Entry: An attempt was made to expand the Great Marsh by adding in new Pokemon species, including Gliscor. However, these Gliscor mated with the native Drapion, resulting in this Drapion variant. This Drapion variant inherited small wings from its Gliscor parents, which allow them to glide short distances. They can no longer produce poison, but retain an immunity to it.
Competitive Use: Basically a slightly less bulky version of Gliscor

:ss/butterfree: + :flygon:
Name: Butterfree-Draconic (Butterfree + Flygon)
Egg Group: Bug
Stats: 60/72/50/80/80/70
Type: Bug/Dragon
New Moves: Dragon Dance, Dragon Claw, Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Dragonbreath, Outrage, First Impression
Abilities: Compound Eyes/Levitate
Dex Entry: A Butterfree was separated from the rest of its flock during the migration season. It eventually made it to a desert, where it ended up mating with a Flygon. The result was this new variant of Butterfree. It has some of the best eyesight of all Pokemon and can see objects up to 10 miles away.
Competitive Use: An interesting take on a mixed sweeper that can use either Quiver Dance or Dragon Dance to boost.

BUG POG

:ss/galvantula: :volcarona:
Pokemon Name: Galvantula-Blaze (Galvantula + Volcarona)
Egg Group: Bug

Stats: 70 / 77 / 60 / 116 / 60 / 108 (BST: 491) (Averaged: Special Attack)
Type:

New Moves: Fire Blast, U-Turn, Quiver Dance, Will-O-Wisp, Overheat
Abilities: Compound Eyes / Flame Body / Swarm

Dex Entry: After gaining fiery-hot wings from Volcarona, Galvantula-Blaze has the ability to set fire trails wherever it goes.
Competitive Use: A slightly less OP version of Volcarona that is able to set up Quiver Dance and gain momentum with U-Turn.

:ss/scizor:+:flygon:
Pokemon Name: Scizor-Dragonfly (X + Y)
Egg Group: Bug
Type:

Abilities: Levitate / Technician / Light Metal
Stats: 75 / 130 / 100 / 55 / 80 / 65
New Moves: Outrage, Dragon Tail, Dragon Claw, Bulldoze, Rock Tomb
Dex Entry: A variant of Scizor found exclusively in desertic biomes.
Competitive Use: Cool double-type with levitate

:ss/golisopod:+:araquanid:
Pokemon Name: Golisopod-Bubble (X + Y)
Egg Group: Bug
Type:

Abilities: Emergency Exit / Water Absorb
Stats: 75 / 125 / 140 / 60 / 111 / 40
New Moves: Sticky Web, Mirror Coat, Reflect, Crunch, Aqua Ring
Dex Entry:
Competitive Use: Golisopod but doesnt have to switch out immediately + gets lots of SpD to compensate for its so-so defensive typing.

:ss/flygon:+:volcarona:
Pokemon Name: Flygon-Sun
Egg Group: Bug
Type:

Abilities: Levitate | Swarm (HA)
Stats: 80 / 100 / 80 / 107 / 80 / 100
New Moves: Flare Blitz, Will-o-Wisp, Fiery Dance, Calm Mind, Poison Jab,
Dex Entry: WIP
Competitive Use: Flygon gains a great offensive typing, a buff to SpA, and the ability to boost it with Calm Mind and Fiery Dance.

I have heard that the second parent doesn't need to come from the bug egg group, so these are technically allowed.

:ss/Flygon:+:hydreigon:
Pokemon Name: Flygon-Hydra
Egg Group: Dragon

Stats: 100/80/102/80/100
Type: Ground/Dragon
New Moves: Hydro Pump, Flash Cannon, Nasty Plot, Dark Pulse, Focus Blast
Abilities: Levitate

Dex Entry: It is said that this is the true scourge of the desert. It's new innate wrath gives trainers a whole new reason to stay out of deserts..
Competitive Use: It's pretty much flygon with special coverage and special set up. Apparently a lot of people wanted that and thus I delivered.

:ss/Ribombee:+:grimmsnarl:
Pokemon Name: Ribombee-Hairy
Egg Group: Fairy

Stats: 77/50/60/95/70/124
Type: Bug/Dark
New Moves: Dark Pulse, Focus Blast, Burning Jealousy, Thunder Wave, Metronome
Abilities: Prankster/Shield Dust/Sweet Veil

Dex Entry: This Ribombee is known for its devious attitude and dark hairs that cover its body. In the past it was common for them to steal babies and swap them out with impidimps.
Competitive Use: Prankster really does a lot for this thing, namely give it priority QD. On top of that it gets some new coverage with focus blast and weirdly enough burning jealousy, in a desperate attempt to help patch up that movepool it has. Also it has prankster metronome for those moments where you want fate to decide your moves.

:ss/Drapion:+:crabominable:
Pokemon Name: Drapion-Eyesore
Egg Group: Water 3

Stats: 70/111/110/60/75/95
Type: Poison/Ice
New Moves: Ice Punch, Close Combat, Crabhammer, Drain Punch, Ice Hammer
Abilities: Battle Armor/Sniper/Iron Fist

Dex Entry: This variant of Drapion is often compared to one's mother as an insult to describe her unattractiveness.
Competitive Use: I gotta be honest here this is a weird one. Drapion with higher attack is nice, and I'm sure it can do some weird scarf shenangins with its increased overall coverage, but tbh I kinda wanted to make this a weirder more out there sub. Even if its second parent is considered one of the worst designs of anything I have ever seen.

:ss/gliscor: + :heracross:
Pokemon Name: Gliscor-Beetle
Egg Group: Bug

Stats: 75/110/125/45/75/95 (525)
Type:

New Moves: Reversal, Close Combat, Spikes, Bullet Seed, Megahorn
Abilities: Hyper Cutter/Guts/Poison Heal (HA)
Height: 2.5 m
Weight: 42.5 kg

Dex Entry: These Gliscors act more aggressive towards other Pokemon or Humans. It is unknown as to why they are so aggressive, but speculations say that they like to fight at any time.
Competitive Use: Gliscor-Beetle serves as a status absorber thanks to either Guts, which makes it more offensive, and Poison Heal, which makes it more defensive. It has the same roles as regular Gliscor, but with the option to go offensive and being able to take advantage of a great offensive typing.

Type:

New Moves: Draco Meteor, Earth Power, Dragon Pulse, Fire Blast, Flamethrower
Abilities:
Tinted Lens / Speed Boost | HA: Levitate
Height
: Average
Weight: Average

Dex Entry: A Yanmega flew into a desert one day and got swept up into a brutal sandstorm. A Flygon spotted it and helped it find its way. In gratitude, it spent some time together with Flygon....
Competitive Use: Yanmega-Oasis is a strong wallbreaker with multiple solid coverage options and strong abilities.

Stats: 70 / 65 / 60 / 125 / 90 / 82

Abilities: Ice Scales / Shield Dust | HA: Swarm
Height: Average
Weight: Average

Dex Entry: A Frosmoth was once found to be within a sun god shrine and was worshipped to be a crazy powerful being. This Frosmoth channeled all of the worship it received and manifested all of its power.
Competitive Use: Fire / Ice type Pokemon that can set up and pull off a potential sweep.

Pokemon Name: Araquanid-Steam
Egg Group: Bug

Stats: 84 / 70 / 92 / 50 / 132 / 42
Type: Bug / Water
New Moves: Coil, Flare Blitz, Power Whip, Will-o-Wisp, Fire Lash
Abilities: Water Bubble / (Flame Body)
Height: 2.6m
Weight: 112kg

Dex Entry: Araquanid - Steam was first seen purely as novelty convenience, thanks to the bubble on its head constantly turning into steam and replenishing itself. It's Centiskorch like body has many spider legs across it.
Competitive Use: Araquanid-Steam functions as a classic Water Bubble Araquanid if it so wishes, but with the advantage of having more bulk, and a setup move in Coil to aid it's bulk. Flare Blitz, Power Whip and Fire Lash all give strong physical options, with Power Whip making the most out of Coil. Will-o-Wisp can also help it deter physical attackers, and lets it spread burns.

Pokemon Name: Shuckle-Crystalized
Egg Group: Bug

Stats: 45 / 10 / 230 / 10 / 230 / 5
Type: Bug / Rock
New Moves: U-Turn, Reflect, Light Screen, Tailwind, Stun Spore
Abilities: Sturdy / Gluttony / (Ice Scales)
Height: 0.6m
Weight: 50kg

Dex Entry: Shuckle-Crystalized has an extremely dense, see through shell that gives it the appearance of being a crystal. It no longer makes berry juice due to the privacy of the shell being gone.
Competitive Use: Does Shuckle stuff. Sets up hazards, like usual, but with the added benefit of extra health, and now being able to pivot out, or set up screens/tailwind to help its teammates. Can also spread paralysis if it wants. Swaps Contrary Shell Smash for Ice Scales for a more consistent SpD boost which can go both ways

Pokemon Name: Escavalier-Thermal
Egg Group: Bug

Stats: 70 / 135 / 85 / 60 / 105 / 20
Type: Bug / Steel
New Moves: Flare Blitz, Fire Lash, Leech Life, Will-o-Wisp, Fire Blast
Abilities: Flash Fire / Shell Armor / (Overcoat)
Height: 1m
Weight: 53kg

Dex Entry: Escavalier-Thermal can heat up the tips of the lances to close to 160 degrees Celsius. It's armor is so heat resistant it can withstand lava, and disperses it with little issue, by channeling most of it into it's lances and firing off blasts.
Competitive Use: Escavalier-Thermal has no weaknesses thanks to Flash Fire. That's basically all you need to know about this. It has the same bulk as regular Escavalier, which is decent, and a great typing. It also has the ability to cripple physical attackers with Will-o-Wisp, and now has a recovery move in Leech Life. Has lowered defense due to stupid typing + ability combo. Could lower Atk or SpD but this hits the hardest, I think.

Pokemon Name: Vespiquen-Luminous
Egg Group: Bug

Stats: 70 / 80 / 102 / 80 / 102 / 62
Type:
Bug / Flying
New Moves: Tail Glow, Thunder Wave, Light Screen, Reflect, Baton Pass
Abilities: Pressure / (Prankster)
Height: 1.2m
Weight: 35kg

Dex Entry: Vespiquen-Luminous' wings glow brightly. It uses them to command the Combee it leads. It will blind anyone that attempts to attack it's hive
Competitive Use: Vespiquen-L has essentially one thing going for it; Prankster. By pairing it with moves such as Light Screen, Reflect and Tailwind it can be a great supporter mon, with decent bulk. In spite of this, it has a horrendous typing, essentially requiring Heavy Duty Boots. It can run defog itself, but if it gets knocked off, it's going to have trouble removing them reliably. It can also spread Paralysis around nicely, and even pass Tail Glows onto teammates.

Name: Drapion-Flitter (Drapion + Flygon)
Type: Poison/Ground
New Moves: Dragon Dance, Roost, Stone Edge, U-Turn, Defog
Ability: Battle Armor/Levitate (Sniper)
Stats: 70/95/110/60/75/95
Dex Entry: Floating scorpions are more than a nightmare. Someone wanted to truly tap into the Draconic nature of Drapion but only made it more down to earth.
Competitive: An awesome type for a levitator (resists fight, ground, rock, poison, fairy, bug AND electric) this thing can switch in on type alone to try and get an easy DDance or set up tspikes and find time to Uturn out to come back and roost later. Ice, water and psychic coverage isn’t what it used to be so be a dancing floating scorpion.

Name: Heracross-Crusted (Heracross + Shuckle)
Type: Fight/Rock
New Moves: Shell Smash, Sticky Webs, Stealth Rock, Knock Off
Abilities: Guts/Sturdy (Moxie)
Stats: 80/125/153/40/95/85
Dex Entry: With its wings crusted from worms, this form of Heracross is hardened away.
Competitive: Shell Smash with great abilities. Contrary would've been king here is Heracross got Super Power, but a Sturdy Smasher is never bad. With good speed and attack, it can lay good smackdown, or you can be a gutsy mini-Terrakion with Knock Off. The floating Drapion above laughs at almost everything Heracross throws at it.

Name: Centiskorch-Army (Centiskorch+Durant)
Type: Fire/Steel
New Moves: First Impression, Stone Edge, Iron Head, Super Power, Flash Cannon
Abilities: Hustle/Flash Fire (Flame Body)
Stats: 100/115/65/90/90/87
Dex Entry: Becoming fireproof is the dream of every steel coated ant, too bad they became the thing instead. These Centiskorches have, in turn, absorbed the ant's metallic hide instead of the other way around.
Competitive: Breeding Variant Heatran anyone? No? How about Coil Hustler? You can really do some power and value out of this merger.

pinsir.png
beedrill.png

Name: Pinsir-Wasp (Pinsir + Beedrill)
Type: Bug-Poison
Stats: 65/125/100/55/75/85
Abilities: Sniper / Mold Breaker // Moxie
New Moves: Roost, Poison Jab, Toxic Spikes, U-turn, Agility

Pokedex: Sometimes a lone Beedrill drone is abandoned by the hive and will take refuge in nearby forests. There, they interact and co-exist with other species. In particular, female Pinsir are often drawn to these new potential mates, and the resulting offspring are powerful Pinsir with poison-secreting glands in their horns and mandibles.

Competitive Summary:
A semi-bulky physical attacker that can choose to snowball with Moxie or set itself up with Focus Energy, Swords Dance, Bulk Up or Agility. It also has the ability to act as a dedicated lead with Stealth Rock and Toxic Spikes. With Roost and U-turn, I can see it acting as a sort of Heavy-Duty Boots pivot or defensive piece. And using Pinsir's already nice movepool it could make a name for itself with a Choice Scarf or Choice Band+ Moxie set.

EDIT: Pinsir has base 55 special attack not base 40. Corrected it.

:swsh/heracross:+:ribombee:
Name: Heracross-Fluffy (Heracross + Ribombee)
New Typing:

Egg Group: Bug
Base Stats: 80 HP / 125 Atk / 75 Def / 40 SpA / 95 SpD / 104 Spe [BST: 519]
Abilities: Honey Gather / Guts / Moxie
Height: 2’09” | 0.8 m
Weight: 60.1 lbs | 27.3 kg
New Moves:
Play Rough, U-turn, Leech Life

Trick, Sticky Web

Competitive: Heracross-Fluffy would work well as a physical wallbreaker. With its new move, Trick, it has the potential to use a Flame Orb for a Guts boost, then spread burn throughout an enemy’s team. Along with that, it has a great new typing and speed stat. Since Heracross already had access to Swords Dance, Heracross-Fluffy could also work well as a setup sweeper. Its added moves Play Rough, U-turn, and Leech Life, all provide it with more forms of STAB, while U-turn specifically provides it with a pivoting option.
Heracross and Ribombee are often found together in the same forests. Ribombee gather honey and distribute it to Heracross, while Heracross fight off invasive species of their shared habitat. This behavior has formed a symbiotic relationship between the two that eventually led them to breed. The resulted offspring, Heracross-Fluffy, takes traits from both of its parents.
