Welcome to the second week of BLT VIII! For this year's format, teams will be fighting in a round robin where every team will play every other team. At the end of the round robin, the top four teams will move on to the playoffs where the first seed will play the fourth seed and the second seed will play the third seed to determine who will be this year’s finalists. A win will be worth 2 points, a draw 1, and a loss 0. Obviously, play on PS! (preferably main or smogtours server). Series are played in a best-of-one.

Basic Tournament Rules - you absolutely should read this, especially if you're new to forum tournaments

Sportsmanship: Don't be an ass. Not to your opponents, not to your team, not on PS, not on Smogon, not to me. A bit of friendly banter is ok, but please know where to draw the line. Think before you type, pleas

Scheduling and Activity Wins: Contact your opponent as quickly as possible on their Smogon wall, and look out for them on PS. You will have one week from the posting of the week's matches to get it done, and I will not be granting any extensions for any reasons. If your opponent is not responding to your post on their wall, cannot be found on PS, or miss multiple scheduled times, make a detailed activity post in the thread letting me know why you deserve the win. No activity post means no activity call. As long as you have visible attempts at scheduling (such as wall posts), you will be f

Disconnections and Timer: A timer loss is a loss. No if's, and's, or but's about it. If your opponent is nice enough to replay that's fine, but they are by no means obligated

Ghosting and Identity: Don't take or give battle advice or make moves based solely on the suggestions of others, and don't pretend to be someone else in order to play as them. You will be caught, and you will be disqualified from this season as well as future PS! tournaments (BLT, PSPL, etc.

Substitutions: Managers are free to substitute out inactive players at any point during the week with any subs they chose during the draft. Be sure to post in the thread when making a substitut

BLT week 2 predictceptions:

Stitchuu: 10/24 games correct
They only got 2 of our games correct last week and apparently have a history of really bad luck with predictions. They will easily get more than half the games wrong this week.

EternalSnowman: 18/24 games correct
The absolute goat predictor. Love his streams and he definitely knows what's up and will for sure get a lot right.

Pokeart2004: 16/24 games correct
She uses pretty logical explanations for her predictions, so I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt and say she gets about 2/3rds right

Team Charm: 11/24 games correct
They also only got 2 of our games correct last week so they must not be that great at this, but I'll be nice and give them a slight edge over stitchuu. They are still going to get more than half the games wrong though.

Mack Knife: 13/24 games correct
Another person who only got 2 of our games right last week, but they were the only one who picked me to win so I'll predict that they'll get more than half the games right at least. They also have the most epic explanations.

Ainzcrad: 15/24 games correct
Also had pretty logical explanations for his predictions, but not quite as detailed as pokeart so I'll give the slight edge to her.

More predicts that are hopefully accurate this time

Lavender Laprases (3) vs Sunyshore Snorlaxes (7)
SS Ubers: velvet (35) vs FatFighter2 (65): velvet didn't play last week and ff2 won last week even though the opp threw away a 100% win for some very odd reason
SS OU: Not Miyan (45) vs Failures (55): Miyan beat Hockey and Failures lost last week so normally Miyan would be preferred here but I have faith in the custom avatar dude for the one last time
SS OU: MagicalXerneas (40) vs TectonicDestroyer (60): If MagicalXerneas learns what wish does she has a chance. On the other hand, I've seen tect brag about "getting into a relevant tour" which is being a sub on WCOP team Oceania on every private room, public room and discord server I am in with, so he better win. For example:
1622442726247.png

1622439569316.png

1622442978976.png

1622439629154.png

SS UU: TMM (70) vs Mygrein (30): Better in general, also looking from w1 plays TMM can take this easily I think
SS RU: Mac3 (60) vs EternalSnowman (40): I still have faith in mace
SS NU: Xiri (45) vs daniYSB (55): both came off with wins last week but I think dani has more touch with SS NU
SS PU: tlenit (49) vs Z Strats (51): After seeing Z win in pu last week I realized it's never right to not bold against him, even if his opponent is a pu mainer, prove me right bro
SS LC: Surfy (55) vs BigBoy038 (45): Surfy would bring a better team this time
SS DOU: queso (49) vs LightScreener (51): Both coming off of L's last week I am going for the one with Z Strats support
SS Mono: henguinie (45) vs Hys (55): Mono is mu anyway so bolding the person who won last week

Bayern Munchlaxes (6) vs Celestic Town Celesteelas (4)
Ubers: 7u9i2 (40) vs saba1111 (60): Who knows why saba is even slotted here, LTG must be really busy. But saba does not lose
OU: Yugon (35) vs Pradhaaan (65): Should be fairly easy for prad here
OU: ToastedBunzzz02 (40) vs Stareal (60): Same as above, bunzzz kinda misplayed last week so he can bounce back but Stareal's a bit too strong
UU: Expulso (55) vs Mack Knife (45): Unfortunately I have never seen mack play, and his first opponent is Expulso. Might be tough for mack but with good support he has a chance
RU: yovan33321 (35) vs TheFranklin (65): arce9 is goated
NU: roxiee (60) vs Fille (40): Both coming off L's last week but roxiee has more knowledge in the tier
PU: gum (60) vs Splash (40): leaning more on the pu main here
LC: p4P1//0n (60) vs Crow Music (40): Not really too highly convinced with Crow from what I know and papi is a good LC player
DOU: Shadowmonstr7 (65) vs Crunchman (35): If shadow loses again he'll quit dou
Monotype: Meta (55) vs avarice (45): Mono is mu anyway so bolding the person who won last week

Anistar Articunos (3) vs Petalburg Poochyenas (7)
Ubers: Trade (60) vs Ainzcrad (40): Poor boing, Trade does not lose
OU: iNoLife (55) vs Perish Song (45): I know psong came with a win last week and inolife didn't but I think she can turn this around
OU: lvl100Blaziken (60) vs lotiasite (40): Haven't seen loti play anything outside of AG yet so Frags is favoured here
UU: RoyalReloaded (40) vs Acselsior13 (60): RoyalReloaded managed to beat Gxe but can he beat Axel who is on a winstreak since last year?? hmm..
RU: moesi (?) vs Malassa (?): lol uh... Malassa comes before moesi in alphabetical order
NU: Plas (40) vs PokeArt2004♥ (60): Plas went up from PU to NU, now he will play RU next week
PU: sirmrwhale (30) vs MalMoonsault (70): Mal should own every tours main quite easily
LC: Mikaav (48) vs Gray (52): HL match, should be fun. Leaning slightly towards Gray
DOU: RKD (40) vs TTT444 (60): better player I think
Monotype: Dragonslayer6235 (??) vs RichardPepper (??): LOL uhh.. looking forward to this match. Bolding the one with more experience for now

Edit: found more tect logs smh

Lavender Laprases (6) vs Sunyshore Snorlaxes (4)
SS Ubers: velvet (30) vs FatFighter2 (70): Never played Fat Fighter but he made it far in seasonals as opposed to Velvet who i've played a few times on ladder who hasn't really impressed me much.
SS OU: Not Miyan (40) vs Failures (60): Don't know who miyan is.
SS OU: MagicalXerneas (60) vs TectonicDestroyer (40): Can't have much faith in someone who says a team with Peli, Urshifu and TankChomp is weak to Volcarona.
SS UU: TMM (60) vs Mygrein (40): I think TMM is better.
SS RU: Mac3 (55) vs EternalSnowman (45): This one is pretty close but I'm giving the edge to Mac3 from the one time I played him in OU.
SS NU: Xiri (60) vs daniYSB (40): Backing my NUPL teammate to win here.
SS PU: tlenit (55) vs Z Strats (45): Tlenit is very good at PU but he lost last week so I'm unsure if he wins this.
SS LC: Surfy (65) vs BigBoy038 (35): I don't know who BigBoy is but I've heard Surfy is good.
SS DOU: queso (45) vs LightScreener (55): Don't know who queso is but LightScreener is good.
SS Mono: henguinie (40) vs Hys (60): I think Hys is better. I don't know the other guy.

Anistar Articunos (5) vs Petalburg Poochyenas (5)
Ubers: Trade (55) vs Ainzcrad (45): Trade is fire but Ainz is a good builder so this will be close I think.
OU: iNoLife (60) vs Perish Song (40): I really dislike inolife's builds but I think they are a good player overall, so I think they win this.
OU: lvl100Blaziken (45) vs lotiasite (55): Loti goat.
UU: RoyalReloaded (40) vs Acselsior13 (60): Don't know who RoyalReloaded is and Acselsior had a good win last week.
RU: moesi (55) vs Malassa (45): Both pretty meh players but I think moesi is slightly better given what I saw this morning.
NU: Plas (70) vs PokeArt2004♥ (30): Looking at the game from today, I think Plas should definitely win this.
PU: sirmrwhale (30) vs MalMoonsault (70): Better player.
LC: Mikaav (45) vs Gray (55): Should be close but I think Gray is overall better.
DOU: RKD (55) vs TTT444 (45): RKD is fire and really innovative in the builder, so I'm bolding him.
Monotype: Dragonslayer6235 (40) vs RichardPepper (60): Dragonslayer has crazy good luck but I don't think he's very good.

Ruin Valley Roserades (0) vs Turffield Turtwigs (0)
Ubers: Reje (60) vs Blimax (40): Blimax called the goat Devin a random so for that he loses. Reje is also good.
OU: Hockey1 (60) vs myjava (40): Hockey is fire but he made Zeno worse at the game so idk..
OU: Baloor (45) vs Harshal_08 (55): Both pretty even players I think.
UU: Sificon (45) vs 100%GXE (55): Apparently 100%GXE is good.
RU: Kyotoshi (55) vs Decem (45): Highlight match. Kyo went 5-0 in DPL with no experience in RU, beating top RU players, so I full back him here.
NU: Ninja (40) vs TeamCharm (60): NU open (i think?) semi finalist or finalist I forgot. Also has best discord pfp below me.
PU: Let's Rumble Shall We (55) vs Wubben (45): Lets Rumble beat Tlenit last week and idk the other guy.
LC: kythr (50) vs Serene Grace (50): Can't really pick a winner here.
DOU: Mishimono (55) vs mammalu (45): Idk who mammalu is and mishimono is good.
Monotype: Kaguya Lys (40) vs Maki (60): I think Maki is better?

Lavender Laprases (5) vs Sunyshore Snorlaxes (5)
SS Ubers: velvet vs FatFighter2 - Even with a 99% winning matchup, Ubers is not a tier you can easily win in versus a really good player. I'll even predict that the match will end at turn 83, with someone running out of Dynamax Cannon PP.
SS OU: Not Miyan vs Failures - Miyan isn't given the credit they deserve.
SS OU: MagicalXerneas vs TectonicDestroyer - The only data I have on MX is last week's game, so yeah...
SS UU: TMM vs Mygrein - Same as above for Mygrein.
SS RU: Mac3 vs EternalSnowman - Quality match, both lost week 1, but it feels like Mac3 is more comfortable in RUBL as opposed to RU right now. My game data on RU in the current meta places ESM slightly higher.
SS NU: Xiri vs daniYSB - Yep.
SS PU: tlenit vs Z Strats - Last week's not going to repeat itself for these players.
SS LC: Surfy vs BigBoy038 - Surfy's generally better, but something tells me this matchup's gonna be volatile.
SS DOU: queso vs LightScreener - LS had some hype surrounding them during the draft. I feel like they want to prove something now.
SS Mono: henguinie vs Hys - Imagine thinking you can accurately predict this tier lmao. Someone's bringing a SE type though.

Bayern Munchlaxes (7) vs Celestic Town Celesteelas (3)
Ubers: 7u9i2 vs saba1111 - This will come down to the correct predict. It's been shown that 7u9i2 has a lot of patience, and that's pretty much the most important thing in Ubers. Saba's definitely got what it takes to win, but I reviewed the Ubers matches hella hard and 7u9i2 is not going to be easy.
OU: Yugon vs Pradhaaan - I played with both Yugon and Prad pretty closely before and can say that as good as Prad may be, Yugon's playstyle is not a good matchup for them.
OU: ToastedBunzzz02 vs Stareal - There was a very big question pre-BLT of who the best OUer was. I was pretty adamant that Stareal was in contention, but a lot of people said Bunzzz was better. I'll hold my ground on this if last week was any indication of player performance.
UU: Expulso vs Mack Knife - Yep.
RU: yovan33321 vs TheFranklin - RU is stacked af and yet arce9 still delivers the goods.
NU: roxiee vs Fille - Love roxiee but Fille's bound to show up in this tour at some point.
PU: gum vs Splash - Last week's data says a lot.
LC: p4P1//0n vs Crow Music - A wrap.
DOU: Shadowmonstr7 vs Crunchman - All I can remember from Crunch is playing 400 turns of OU vs Ubers with him, but regardless, Shadow does their best under pressure.
Monotype: Meta vs avarice - Gonna predict neutral matchup for this and if that's the case, money's on Meta.

Ruin Valley Roserades (4) vs Turffield Turtwigs (6)
Ubers: Reje vs Blimax - The Ubers room would shake their head in disapproval for this pick, and I'm also slightly iffy about it, but putting the chips on Blimax. Reje is Ubers legacy and has proven that if he really wanted to, he can dominate in SS; but Blimax also proved that he has the chops to take on the best. If it's a matter of patience, I think with all the past gen OU experience, Blimax has the higher threshold as past gen Ubers (Gen 4 and up) were more "make this play correctly" and calculate shorter lines. SS Ubers is closer to the experience Blimax has had in the past. Granted, Reje does pretty well in long games, so this is actually going to be my HL match for this round.
OU: Hockey1 vs myjava - Hockey's obviously got a lot of experience and is in the upper end of players in the pool, but anyone who has done their research should know that myjava is capable of taking most of the OU field and barely win. This is going to be a good game, but intuition has myjava winning.
OU: Baloor vs Harshal_08 - Very underrated players, moreso for Harshal. The biggest thing is Harshal has better nerves.
UU: Sificon vs 100%GXE - More solid. Still a close set I reckon.
RU: Kyotoshi vs Decem - Research on Kyotoshi would've had me bolding them vs Mac in week 1, if I did predicts. Very solid and very good player, but it looks like they thrive in lower tiers. Decem is strong and easily one of the best players in the pool, but this specific RU isn't kind to even the smallest gap of meta knowledge.
NU: Ninja vs TeamCharm - TC's clearly one of the better lower tier players in the tour.
PU: Let's Rumble Shall We vs Wubben - I did end up predicting LRSW to win last week and personally think they're underrated af. Wubben is ayt, but PU is another tier where specialists can't be beat.
LC: kythr vs Serene Grace - Serene is the number 1 player in LC according to lots of people I asked, but their BLT team tour scores don't reflect that accurately. Kythr places a huge amount of interest in his team and his matches, and I think that as cringy as it is, the power of friendship is gonna win this fight.
DOU: Mishimono vs mammalu - mammalu couldn't grasp the genius of the same 6 stall pokemon tour. But mish is like one of the top DOU players in the pool, period.
Monotype: Kaguya Lys vs Maki - Another tossup. Expect fast gameplay and an even faster win.

Note: I tried to not take into account how a player acts on forums, etc. This is all about how much they're expected to go in this week and how good their form has been lately. I did end up doing like 2 hours of research last week for all the players in the lineups aside from the initial scouting pre-BLT which is like very minimal, so we'll see.

So last time I was 20/40 (Give or take 2). I blame boyn for not being over 50%.

Lavender Laprases (5) vs Sunyshore Snorlaxes (5)

SS Ubers: velvet vs FatFighter2 Johnfighter-9: Nah. Aint gonna john your way outta this one. Flygons learn roost. Yeah, try to john your way out of that. You can't. It is impossible.
SS OU: Not Miyan vs Failures : Being Failures is where the snorlaxes shine. I mean who else will come back 5-0. Thus their very own failures shall secure the failure required to win. This will set them up for more failure as expectations of non-failure rise. It is all coming together.
SS OU: MagicalXerneas vs TectonicDestroyer: Verrrrry clever. See tectonicdestroyer means pdon, and pdon is a soft check for xern. The problem is that this Xern is magical thus the standard mus do not apply. They both really thought these mu's through.
SS UU: TMM vs Mygrein: TMM's characteristic is lost in thought. Mygrein is a migraine or a really bad headache. Tough to be lost in thought when the other guy is hurting your head. If Tmm wears a hardhat it might work out tho.
SS RU: Mac3 vs EternalSnowman: Mace windu is going to slice through this snowman.
SS NU: Xiri vs daniYSB: Xiri uses freeze dry on pyukumuku. It is super effective. The pyukumuku does not care and continues to flip him off. This enrages all xiri fans who beat him up.
SS PU: tlenit vs Z Strats : One guy haz Ze Srtatz. While the other guy haz The Le nit. Meaning he has mad knitting skills. I think stratz will win this fight over knitting skills.
SS LC: Surfy vs BigBoy038 : WHAT HAPPENED to Lakers in 4!! What Happened to Lakers in 5!!! Six games against this suns team!!! Man... idk... it aint looking good with Anthony Davis and everything. Plus the fact that we are playing the one team (the suns) that are like genetical built to be a bad mu!!!!! Oh and I hear bigboy is good or something.
SS DOU: queso vs LightScreener: Le Gruyère AOP (or simply Gruyere) is named after a Swiss village. It is traditional, creamery, unpasteurised, hard cheese. The natural, rusty brown rind is hard and dry. The cheese is darker yellow than Emmental but the texture is more dense and compact. Gruyère is sweet and little salty. When young, it is creamy and nutty but after maturation, the texture becomes earthy and complex with small cracks and grainy.
SS Mono: henguinie vs Hys: My new working theory (I have evidence i swear) is that mono games are usually decided by the number of vowels in your names. The person with the fewer vowels will get a better mu. This seems pretty clear cut.

Bayern Munchlaxes (.1) vs Celestic Town Celesteelas (19)

Ubers: 7u9i2 vs saba1111: 7 + 9 +2 = 18 > 4 =1 + 1 +1 +1 but this is golf.
OU: Yugon vs Pradhaaan: Yu gone
OU: ToastedBunzzz02 vs Stareal: Already burnt bunzz
UU: Expulso vs Mack Knife: Hey Expulso can you pass me some teams
RU: yovan33321 vs TheFranklin: 100 dollar bill.
NU: roxiee vs Fille: Fille smash.
PU: gum vs Splash : Wet gum.
LC: p4P1//0n vs Crow Music: He is on my team.
DOU: Shadowmonstr7 vs Crunchman: He is also on my team.
Monotype: Meta vs avarice : I just think he is a better player. And the vowels. Meta has like five vowels if I can count correctly.

Anistar Articunos (5) vs Petalburg Poochyenas (5)

Ubers: Trade vs Ainzcrad : Smh. Let me down this week and win your match (I'm so mean). Trade some blows with this guy.
Ubers: Trade vs Ainzcrad: Did he just yep me!!! Boyn is gonna wreck you now!!!

Ubers: Trade vs Ainzcrad: Actually, Yep, I concur.
OU: iNoLife vs Perish Song : Guy who went for so much, has to lose all his games now for the meme. It is just a given. Perish is pretty good too.
OU: lvl100Blaziken vs lotiasite: Never picking against this blaziken. Look at this. One guy is just happy; clapping his little spheal fins. While the other guy just blew up a whole pod (I think that is the right word) of tanks. AND HE DOESNT EVEN LOOK AT THE EXPLOSION!
UU: RoyalReloaded vs Acselsior13: I like Acselsior and I think he is a really good player and I can say a lot of good things about his game and his number or his name or charizard and how he should win this. I cannot say those things. This is because the other guy beat another guy who had 100% gxe. Thus if I understand this correctly (unlikely) he has over 100% gxe. How can you beat a guy with over 100% gxe?
RU: moesi vs Malassa: lol uh... Malassa comes before moesi in alphabetical order. Dangit. Took my predict... Malassa has more letters and a higher scrabble score.
NU: Plas vs PokeArt2004♥: Plas comes before pokeart in alphabetical order. Plus Magby's burn swinbs to the ground.
PU: sirmrwhale vs MalMoonsault: Ever see a fire tiger cat suplex a whale.
LC: Mikaav vs Gray: Gray's characteristic is quick to flee. Through my careful observation of mikaav I have determined that he just stares at his opponent and mumbles "grrrrrrrrr.... grrrrrrrrr.... grrrrrrr...." Gray gonna be fleeing like summer sunshine in... um... a place there isn't much sunshine.
DOU: RKD vs TTT444 : I wanna stay 100% on dou predicts. Triple T 3 four is pretty scary and wont get rkd.
Monotype: Dragonslayer6235 vs RichardPepper: So get this. Richard has the Beatles. Dragonslayer has a durant. Beetles eat ants. boom. Both have four vowels so it comes down to who has less numbers.

Ruin Valley Roserades (5) vs Turffield Turtwigs (5)

Ubers: Reje vs Blimax: Picking Necrozema Ultra over elmo,... or not? Elmo may be playing coy so I can underestimate him. Ye elmo has got this.
OU: Hockey1 vs myjava: I personally blame the hockey fan for my pens losing earlier. And I hate being reminded of it too.
OU: Baloor vs Harshal_08: Has so many great feats on ps it boosts his tinder success. Sorry harsh, at least you are losing to a stud ig.
UU: Sificon vs 100%GXE: I figure everyone else will pick gxe and be wrong.
RU: Kyotoshi vs Decem: Kpop fan > omniman.
NU: Ninja vs TeamCharm: I am now a huge teamcharm believer. I mean ninja is pretty good and I hate to pick against him twice in a row buuut, TC brought infestation tangela stall. Very enjoyable match.
PU: Let's Rumble Shall We vs Wubben: He is wubben the rumblin.
LC: kythr vs Serene Grace: I am picking kythr here because I feel like it.
DOU: Mishimono vs mammalu: In a word.
Monotype: Kaguya Lys vs Maki: Three vowels vs two vowels. You might think I am crazy but this works.

A polar bear walks into a bar and says to the bartender “I’ll have a rum …………………. and coke.”

The bartender asks, “What’s with the big pause?”

The bear shrugs. “I was born with them.”

:Infernape: The only way not to lose is to show what we really think about our enemy, without hiding anything… and that we ally with them. But it is impossible… Because it is not possible to see what a person really thinks and what he feels deep inside. :Infernape:

:bw/Gengar: Welcome to Week 2 of BLT ! :bw/Gengar:

~ :Darkrai: Do I Really Need to Introduce Myself ? Let's do it just in case ! My name is Mellow. I have won many competitions and won many battles in almost all existing formats. My goal is to understand all the techniques possible and to be the N ° 1 in all tier possible to play even if this dream seems impossible I would never know the disappointment and the rangaine. I am also an artist and by passion for beautiful things I have to embellish and highlight the things that are close to my heart and what better to show the whole world the power of my friends in passionate fights as I saw the day in the world of art and replays ! :darkrai: ~

:Machamp: Before we start let me warn you of what we expect ... This tournament is probably one of the most difficult that it can exist and moreover you will be as a team so the failures of one could lead to the defeat others but remember that those who break the rules are considered less than nothing ... However, those who abandon their teammates are worse than less than nothing ! If you do not help yourself and that you do not believe in your friends you will succumb very quickly to the adversary and even if one of your friends were to fall you should not under any circumstances abandon it in the hands of the enemies. You will lift the cup together or succumb together ! Beat you ! Help you ! Believe in yourself ! and crush your enemies ! Take the trophy from them and cry for joy together because it is their friendship ! :Machamp:

:Hitmonlee: The first week allowed you to identify the overall level of your opponents and to create an opnion on them, to see their capacity for analysis and anticipation of a threat. Each individual reacts differently but in the end the feeling of fear remains the same. Now that the first hits we were exchanging a feeling of confidence and fear has set in but don't forget that even the weakest enemies can prove to be a real warrior in the face of too much adversity. Do not let go of your guard especially if you came out victorious last week, new enemies are appearing with new abilities. :Hitmonlee:

Alright, It's Time for your King to make predictions....... honestly think predictions are cringe, but TC got on his knees and started begging and baloor wouldn't shut up, so its time

Lavender Laprases (4) vs Sunyshore Snorlaxes (6)
SS Ubers: velvet (0) vs FatFighter2 (100): Only way JohnFighter2 loses is if he johns too hard and has to sub out, velvet, your chill, but Fat is one of my disciples, dub for him
SS OU: Not Miyan (45) vs Failures (55): Slightly better player
SS OU: MagicalXerneas (55) vs TectonicDestroyer (45): Xern actually played pretty okay.. until late game vs Baloor, ya know what I believe in you gamer go claim your crown
SS UU: TMM (75) vs Mygrein (25): TMM is the better player.
SS RU: Mac3 (49) vs EternalSnowman (51): Going ESM, Damn this RU pool is good
SS NU: Xiri (40) vs daniYSB (60): I personally think Dani is the best NU player in the tournament
SS PU: tlenit (46) vs Z Strats (54): Cool numbers am i right, tle is apparently a PU overlord, but idk, i just slightly favour Z strats
SS LC: Surfy (65) vs BigBoy038 (35): yep, bigboy is kinda good, and i remember hearing they played a while ago, so thats cool! but go Surfy
SS DOU: queso (45) vs LightScreener (55): honestly dont know much about these 2 and Lightscreener has the cooler username
SS Mono: henguinie (55) vs Hys (45): Honestly, I think Hys is very good, and mono is a coinflip, but im backing hen all the way, I know hen is great at preparing so Im backing them

Can't Predict own series, but Poochies go RAWR... and im the best benched gamer of all time, also our support is really underrated :> i think we will win 6-4

Ruin Valley Roserades (6) vs Turffield Turtwigs (4)
Ubers: Reje (70) vs Blimax (30): reje will win this game 70 percent of the time
OU: Hockey1 (55) vs myjava (45): Hockey is slightly better
OU: Baloor (60) vs Harshal_08 (40): Church of e~t~h~e~y disciple AND Church Of Ethey has a good win rate... thanks for ruining that one Sificon.. jeezz... anyways Baloor wins and yes Sificon you are still cool :)
UU: Sificon (40) vs 100%GXE (60): I love you Sifi... but GXE is the better player
RU: Kyotoshi (65) vs Decem (35): This should be a really good game, Decem is really good and is great gamer, really chill... but something tells me Kyo is gonna tear this RU field for some reason, I have no clue why, gut feeling
NU: Ninja (45) vs TeamCharm (55): charm sucks, like honestly god he sucks but he'll win, probably off a dumb crit or some weird 50-50 play he doesnt realise is a 50-50 and he gets right, smh this kid is so lucky and bad. Im kidding charm, you the GOAT
PU: Let's Rumble Shall We (100) vs Wubben (0): Lets Rumble beat a good PU player and I dont think are amazing, but they are underrated... and.... If I speak any further.. Im in trouble... so i will not speak
LC: kythr (55) vs Serene Grace (45): honestly, i do think serene grace is the better player, but kythr can definitely compete... and something tells me they edge this
DOU: Mishimono (45) vs mammalu (55): now Mishi is better... but BLT is sometimes very silly, i expect this to be one of them silly wins that just happens for no reason
Monotype: Kaguya Lys (48) vs Maki (52): Maki slightly better

Bayern Munchlaxes (6) vs Celestic Town Celesteelas (4)
Ubers: 7u9i2 (75) vs saba1111(25) - saba is chill, i like saba..... but 7u9 random number letter spam, seriously just get a name, I'll call you RaichuSandwich yep, ok RaichuSandwich will take this one
OU: Yugon(45) vs Pradhaaan(55) - If Yugon drops the ego and doesnt make it so easy to prepare for them, they'll win, if not, pradhaan will bring something more offensive, break his balance with a kyurem or magnezone, and this game will be over in 30 turns with Yugon not saying gg and crying in every game there is a move missed later in the week :)
OU: ToastedBunzzz02(40) vs Stareal(60) -Bunzz is good.... but choked a bit last week, Star is good, just has struggled in certain matchups, player wise, not team wise, I dont think this is one of those matchups, Star will play a really consistent 4-0 Game
UU: Expulso(100) vs Mack Knife(0) - If Expulso loses this, I will eat a dandelion.
RU: yovan33321(49 vs TheFranklin(51) - you know what i think this is the closest game this week, gonna edge out arce, but I do quite like yovan, unique personality, strong player
NU: roxiee(45) vs Fille(55) - same as Yugon..
PU: gum(70) vs Splash(30) - gum is very good, and very comfortable in PU, i think splash is alright but i dont see this being one of them weird BLT games
LC: p4P1//0n(100) vs Crow Music(0) - sorry crow, but Pap is very good, also seriously get an easier name to say mr Papayeyown, like its getting silly now, but your a disciple and should win comfortably
DOU: Shadowmonstr7(55) vs Crunchman(45) - Crunchman is underrated and this will be a good game,, but Ill give the edge to Shadow, sorry Crunch :/
Monotype: Meta(55) vs avarice(45)- this is mono, i have no bloody clue, monotype is bloody weird, meta won last week, Ill go with them.

Thats all the Goated Preds from the King. Hopefully this doesnt tag people, I have no clue how smogon forums work, i just come to see Raj's goated memes..

Predicts for games I personally find intriguing:
RU: yovan33321 vs TheFranklin: While yovan has had an extremely impressive run in the RU Open, I still think arce is the overall better RU player here and will walk away with the win.
LC: p4P1//0n vs Crow Music: I think Pap takes this one, but Crow Music definitely knows their stuff (+ Fille support?) so I would not be surprised if this goes the other way.
Ubers: Trade vs Ainzcrad: Two players who really know what they are doing when it comes to Ubers so this should definitely be a well played game on both sides - I think Trade will come away with this one though as its generally tough to predict against them.
LC: Mikaav vs Gray: This one feels closer to a 50/50 than anything - having said that, I think Mikaav will win the game that (unsurprisingly) comes down to a couple of late game speed ties.
Ubers: Reje vs Blimax: If you are looking for a well thought out prediction, I suggest looking at Trade's for this game - but I do think Blim will win this one as well.
UU: Sificon vs 100%GXE: This game is a personal HL for me as I could definitely see this game going Sifi's way as they're very solid. Having said that, and with both looking to avoid going 0-2, I think GXE will win in the builder and eventually on the field too.
LC: kythr vs Serene Grace: Without being too dramatic, this is possibly the game of the tournament with two of the top 3 SS LCers currently matching up. If this is a neutral MU then its virtually impossible to say either way as they are both incredibly skilled and rarely miss-play. Despite SG always seeming to have something up his sleeve in the builder, I'm going to go with kythr here as I think he'll end up making a play or two that ultimately decides the match.

swinubfan44

formerly TeamCharm
predicts:

papillon vs crow music- papillon wins from ethey support

gxe vs sificon- lol. gxe wins in a landslide

fatfighter vs teamcharm- teamcharm wins ez gg.

lakers vs suns- suns win in 7

2024 US presidential election- dwayne the rock johnson edges out donald trump 51-49

spicy chicken tika masala vs mild chicken tika masala- mild way better, spicy is too overwhelming.

FatFighter vs Playing Sunday- playing Sunday for sure wins.

Raj Shoot vs PokeAimMD- Raj too big never lost.

Chipotle vs any other restaurant- chipotle by 90

arce9 vs yovan- should be a good game. Arce should be able to defeat Yovan stall pretty nicely, as well as defiently have a couple mons to prep against stall, so it will come down to what Yovan loads up. I have seen him load up some good teams in the Open but I believe Arce is the best RUer in the tour, and should win this in what should be a close one

I just want to get notifications on this post I had to write something sorry Surfy Lakers suck haha gg noob
.

Ok Hello everyone, THE CHURCH OF ETHEY DID predictions, these are kinda seperate to my own, and its group rambling but its just hanging out and talking bout mons
Lapras vs Snorlax
munchlax vs celesteelas
i think twigs and roserades
AND GOATED POOCHIES vs articunos

Better late than never. Predicts!

Lavender Laprases (5) vs Sunyshore Snorlaxes (5)
SS Ubers: velvet vs FatFighter2 - Man, first reje and now OverweightWarrior2? I have to give it to fat here, despite my mentioning last week that velv is pretty good. Fat was not only an ubers seasonal finalist but he played and won last week, while velv was unfortunately subbed out, so fat has momentum on his side. (Ok so the match already happened by the time this was posted but this still works)
SS OU: Not Miyan vs Failures - Despite their failures last week, I think Piro should have this. Not Miyan won vs Hockey1 last week where piro lost vs star, but looking at the 2 games, piro played quite well, whereas... I won't say what happened in the other game. My point is, the winner will be not miyan- no wait, I mean not not miyan.
SS OU: MagicalXerneas vs TectonicDestroyer - Last week was my first time seeing magicalxerneas play, and it seemed rather lacking in magic. MagicalXern made many questionable plays vs baloor, while I've seen tect play solidly plenty of times, in ou and other tiers. For this reason, I think Tect should harness the power of the tectonic plates and destroy the magical xerneas with earthquakes, taking this game.
SS UU: TMM vs Mygrein - Plot twist: MagicalXerneas isn't the one with the magic on this team, its TMM, because TMM secretly stands for "The Magic Man". Both are uu mains but in terms of skill, TMM is a great player, exceeding Mygrein who is decent. TMM will work his uu magic and win.
SS RU: Mac3 vs EternalSnowman - This is def an hl match, and a very heated one. And with my mention of heat, I am implying that this isn't favorable for the one who has "Snow" in their name. This should be a good and close game, but I think its a similar case for last week. Esm is a very solid player in many tiers, and has shown prowess in ru recently, but I can't see him beating an ru goat like mac3 with more experience and knowledge.
SS NU: Xiri vs daniYSB - Underrated but incredibly heat matchup. The two seem really close in terms of playing skill, and both are great nu players. I'm gonna give a slight edge to dani because they seem just a bit more acquainted with the tier, with their presence in the nu community to boot. Xiri has always struck me more as someone who specializes in lower tiers, and not as much nu specifically. Although, Xiri is not to be underestimated as a player, I could easily see Xiri winning this.
SS PU: tlenit vs Z Strats - I don't have much to say for this. Tlenit is one of the best pu players in the pool, and is facing someone who doesn't generally play pu, so I think Tlenit wins.
SS LC: Surfy vs BigBoy038 - Both are good players. Bigboy with lots of tours experience and Surfy with lots of knowledge in lc. Both should have good support. Imo, this should be close but I'm giving the edge to surfy for being good as a player, and having superior knowledge of the current lc meta. I'd say it'll be a fine day to go surfing but I could easily see bigboy winning here too.
SS DOU: queso vs LightScreener - I'll say the one who used light screen because as a doubles player, they seem better than cheese, especially after seeing that game vs mish. Also, from what I know, Lightscreener is getting better support with options such as Z strats and even esm.
SS Mono: henguinie vs Hys - From what I've seen, both are good players, but it seems like bdlol has more monotype knowledge and experience than his oppo, despite his preposterous demands of banning drizzle.

Bayern Munchlaxes (6) vs Celestic Town Celesteelas (4)
Ubers: 7u9i2 vs saba1111 - despite the fact that 7u9i2 is solid in ubers, and had a good (though long and painful) victory vs ainzcrad, with the right support, saba can play just about anything and either win or put up a good fight. So for this reason, I'm picking saba here.
OU: Yugon vs Pradhaaan - Yugon can be decent, but prad can be a near unstoppable force in this tier that has dominated both last week and before that. A user I expect to see another really good record from. Sorry Yugon, but Yugonna lose here.
OU: ToastedBunzzz02 vs Stareal - Don't get me wrong, ToastedBunzzz is pretty goated but... mainly at lower tiers from what I know, so they seem kinda out of place. While Stareal remains the real star of the ou pool with all his experience and skill in the tier, coming off a win vs pirouette last week whereas Toasted choked against perish pretty hard. So despite how goated toasted is, I think star should have this.
UU: Expulso vs Mack Knife - I've only ever really seen mack play in room tours, and I can definitely vouch that they're decent but Expulso specializes in lower tiers like this and is a really good player too, while I'm not sure what mack mains this gen, if anything. Expulso should win this battle but Mack would never lose in a battle of best predicts.
RU: yovan33321 vs TheFranklin - I'm not as familiar with yovan as I am with arce9, but going off what I do know, and the matches they won last week, arce9 seems like the better player in ru and overall, so I'm going with arce here.
NU: roxiee vs Fille - Again, I don't know why Fille is being slotted here, while Roxiee rocks, especially in nu, knowing the meta well and having a known presence in the nu community. Especially after playing Roxiee last week, I can vouch for them all the more that they should have no problem winning here.
PU: gum vs Splash - From what I hear about gum, they're a really great and experienced pu main, and while splash is a very good player in a multitude of tiers, they don't main this one. Splash has made quite the splash in the past, but against gum they'll be put in a sticky situation they can't get out of.
LC: p4P1//0n vs Crow Music - I don't know very much about Crow Music, except the fact crows don't make very nice music and that they're more of an nu player from what I know, and ok in lc. Pap is a good player and an lc main who beat gray last week, and after that I don't see them losing to a singing bird.
DOU: Shadowmonstr7 vs Crunchman - From what I've seen of both, I think shadow has more doubles experience than crunchman. Both are great players in the tier and I could easily see the man using crunch winning if he preps for shadow's play style, but I'll give the slight edge to the monster lurking in the shadows because I think they've been on the doubles scene longer and I've seen more from them.
Monotype: Meta vs avarice - Avarice is a great player, but unless they're feeling truly avaricious with prep, I don't think they can beat meta, who's name is the very thing in monotype they know best.

Ruin Valley Roserades (5) vs Turffield Turtwigs (5)

Ubers: Reje vs Blimax - HL match. While Blimax is an undeniably good player, they strike me as more of an ou main than ubers, while Reje is a full ubers main with years of experience and knowledge of the tier, so I think reje should have this.
OU: Hockey1 vs myjava - Both came off losses last week, but looking at and comparing the 1 hockey player to the man with his personal java, I think myjava seemed a bit better, even if hockey1 was kinda robbed in his game.
OU: Baloor vs Harshal_08 - Harshal beating Plas last week was a surprise for sure, but ou is baloor's territory, being a solid ou main, where for harshal, Idk how much experience or knowledge they have in ou at all. Based on that, I think Baloor should take this.
UU: Sificon vs 100%GXE - This is actually be a heat match. Gxe came off a pretty bad loss last week but he is still gxe. Sificon is noticeably very good as well, but if gxe plays at his best, I don't see them winning. I say gxe should win if he plays at his best, and will lose if he doesn't.
RU: Kyotoshi vs Decem - Another really heat match, which I think should be close. I hadn't heard much about Kyotoshi in ru but last week, seeing as they beat mac3, an ru goat, they clearly know their stuff. In addition to that, they seem to be an excellent player. Decem is a great player and extremely versatile, specializing in lower tiers, but not ru specifically. I think Kyotoshi should have this but I could see Decem pulling the upset.
NU: Ninja vs TeamCharm - Ninja didn't look great vs Xiri last week, whereas Charm had a dominant victory vs Nout. Seeing as Charm was an nu open finalist and helped me prep for roxiee, I don't see him losing here.
PU: Let's Rumble Shall We vs Wubben - hellray's game vs tlenit wasn't a great one, but hellray is def a good player overall, whereas Wubben... sorry, I don't know anything about wubben apart from what I've seen in room tours, and they seem ok.
LC: kythr vs Serene Grace - THE hl match of this week. Both are extremely goated players in their own respect. Serene Grace is arguably the best lcer in this tour, while kythr is an extremely solid lcer and one of the best players in the tour as a whole. This should be a really close match that I can see either side winning, but I'm giving the EVER SO SLIGHT edge to Serene Grace. Rooting for kythr though.
DOU: Mishimono vs mammalu - For those of you who don't know, mammalu is a decent doubles player, but I don't think they can quite hold a candle to doubles goat mish. So while I wouldn't exactly sleep on mammalu, I think should have this.
Monotype: Kaguya Lys vs Maki - This looks like another underrated yet heated matchup. Kaguya is a solid mono main who looked pretty good last week, and the same can be said about Maki in mono, even if they played dou last week. I've seen more of Maki and have been impressed by them a lot lately, so I'll give them the edge.

Idt it's even taken me this long to do predicts before X_X, thanks for reading and see ya next week.

(Apologies to anyone I may have possibly offended, please do not take these very seriously.)
