Fire
Fighting

Base Stats: 80 HP / 120 Atk / 70 Def / 110 SpA / 70 SpD / 80 Spe

Abilities: Blaze | Speed Boost (HA)

Notable Moves:
- Acrobatics
- Brave Bird
- Bulk Up
- Close Combat
- Earthquake
- Endure
- Fire Blast
- Fire Punch
- Flare Blitz
- Knock Off
- Low Kick
- Overheat
- Poison Jab
- Reversal
- Rock Slide
- Solar Beam
- Stone Edge
- Substitute
- Swords Dance
- Thunder Punch
- U-turn
- Will-O-Wisp

Pros:
- The ability Speed Boost allows it to passively accumulate boosts, solving the problem of its middling speed
- Having access to Swords Dance allows it to drastically increase its power, synergising well with the speed it automatically gets from Speed Boost
- Its respectable Special Attack to possibly run a mixed set, hitting both sides of the offensive spectrum
- Blaziken's moveset is quite wide, allowing it to be able to hit all of its possible checks

Cons:
- Blaziken's bulk is quite low, leaving it vulnerable to revenge killing and meaning that it finds difficulty in setting up.
- 80 base Speed isn't that great, meaning that Blaziken needs a free turn of Speed Boost to begin to output any real damage.
- One of Blaziken's powerful moves, Flare Blitz, has high recoil which greatly affects its longevity and sweeping ability.

Terastallizing Potential:
- Blaziken, as a highly potent cleaner is a great user of terastallization, as it can use various teras to boost the power of the various moves in its learnset.
- It can also possibly use tera defensively, to gain a possible extra turn to gain Speed Boost buffs, allowing it to gain KO's it wouldn't otherwise.

Set 1 - Nuclear Threat
Blaziken @ Life Orb
Ability: Speed Boost
Tera Type: Fire / Fighting / Grass (if you're built different)
EVs: 12 HP / 252 Atk / 244 Spe or 16 HP / 252 Atk / 240 Spe
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Flare Blitz / Blaze Kick
- Close Combat
- Protect / Substitute / Stone Edge

This set is pretty straightforward. It goes boom. The initial EVs and Jolly nature are to outspeed Dragapult at +1, or if Adamant, with the alternative EV set, Darkrai at +1. Due to Life Orb and Flare Blitz recoil, this set has incredibly low, but at the end of a game, is incredibly dangerous. It also uses Stone Edge to have a recoilless way of Hitting flying types such as Zapdos and Moltres.

Set 2 - Sneasler Part 2: Grassy Boogaloo
Blaziken @ Grassy Seed / Psychic Seed
Ability: Speed Boost
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 12 HP / 252 Atk / 244 Spe or 16 HP / 252 Atk / 240 Spe
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Acrobatics
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge / Flare Blitz / Protect

Here, Blaziken decides to do a Sneasler larp, using Grassy Seed and Tera Flying to get a dangerous Flying/Fighting STAB Combo. It uses Acrobatics and Close Combat as its high base power moves options, with Flare Blitz to melt Gholdengo or Stone Edge to chunk Zapdos. The EVs are the Same and hit the same benchmarks.

Set 3 - Kentucky Fried Chicken
Blaziken @ Life Orb
Ability: Speed Boost
Tera Type: Fire / Grass
EVs: 252 Atk/ 12 Spa / 244 Spe or 252 Atk / 16 Spa / 240 Spe
Naive / Naughty Nature
- Flare Blitz / Fire Blast
- Solar Beam
- Close Combat
- Protect / Swords Dance

This set is meant to be used on sun teams, where Blaziken's fire STAB would be boosted to unreasonable levels, while enabling it to attack off of its impressive Special Attack stat, using Solar Beam to nail its possible checks, such as Great Tusk, Dondozo, and Alomomola, also allowing Blaziken to Fire Blast unsuspecting physical walls such as Gliscor or Zamazenta.

Sash is good to make sure it gets a swords dance off. Pairing it with Rillaboom is good because it helps nerf EQ damage. Blaziken is REALLY frail though.

Swords Dance, EQ, Flare Blitz, Substitute is pretty good. It pretty much 6-0s sun off lead. If you can sub on lead Torkoal's rocks, you can SD the turn after and proceed to EQ. You could also SD turn 1 predicting rocks, then sub on yawn. (oh wait). +2 Tera Ground EQ OHKOs Walking Wake. This mon is so good. 252+ Atk Adamant, 252 Speed. 4 def
