People are really underestimating this poke.

Previous build, which is decent to say the least.
Bellossom (F) @ Zoom Lens
Trait: Chlorophyll
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 147 Def / 110 SAtk
Bold Nature
- Synthesis
- Stun Spore
- SolarBeam
- Sunny Day

Zoom lens is to make Stun Spore have near perfect accuracy on that first turn when she's slow.

Here is a really succesful build.
Bellossom (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Drain Punch
- Swords Dance
- Leaf Blade
- Nature Power

Nature Power is secretly Earthquake, giving her coverage and allowing her to hit steel and poison types which would otherwise wall her. Drain Punch get the many unsuspecting Blissey's and Chansey's expecting her to be a statuser or special attacker. Her defensive bulk allows her to take tons of physical hits while she recovers with Leftovers and Drain Punch. She manages to get a free swords dance every match due to the opponent switching to something that "resists", and they end up eating a Nature power Earthquake. The only things that really wall her are Dragon and Flying types.

Here she is tanking super effective attacks from OU premier players while 2HKOing the likes of steel types such as Jirachi.

hey there,

while i appreciate you trying to bring to light a potentially underrated threat, creating an entirely new discussion thread probably isn't the best means to do so, especially since bellossom is still incredibly irrelevant even in NU so there's not much to discuss about it. plus, you also mention various OU pokemon - this section is only for the discussion of the NU metagame.

good luck next time. :toast:
