For context, this was for lcpl and my team needed me to win this final to have a good shot at making playoffs. This guy was also some groupie of someone that used to make fun of me, so it was very satisfying to obliterate him in a tier I picked up a month prior.

First off, I'd like to say that I have a few comments about the format of this tournament.
It's honestly a really sad day for Little Cup. It could be a sad day because Fiend is leaving, or it could be a sad day because the Tier leaders have gotten to the point of resorting to this kind of arbitrary, antidemocratic scheme to basically masquerade a new appointment as a "tournament", just to excuse the nomination of whoever they fancy, with complete disregard of the involvement of so many worthy members of the community for such a long time. I think that the fact that current council members aren't given any kind of priority in this list, have no say whatsoever in the selection of the next Tier Leader, and especially the fact that council members literally learnt about all this the same day as the rest of the community, are more than enough proof of the real intentions of this announcement. Personally, I disagree with how this is being handled, and I feel really bad for the LC community as a whole.
I also disagree with the poor format choice of this event. The players are asked to send some of their best replays, but we've just had the biggest replay wipeout in our history. I can say that I had a replay that would've probably been worth at least 4000 pts for coco's standards (see screenshot below), but unfortunately, it is only my word against anyone else's.
So basically, those who want to prove their consistency and their involvement throughout generations will just be unable to do so despite all their good intentions, and I find that really lame.

are we serious right now? how has the fate of little cup come down to a "tournament" based on arbitrary and completely subjective evaluation methods? as a member of the community i am utterly appalled by this superfluous decision that could end up with someone like Drifting as our next tier leader, and as a member of the council i am truly disgusted by the fact that this was not made aware to us until after the post was made.

Good bye Fiend. Coconut should leave too. This is so embarrassing but I'm not shocked by this kind of stupidity. I'm starting to know the person well. Show some respect to LC playerbase, to best LC players and to council members. I hope one day LC will be lead by real and passionate players. LC is falling down and we know why.
