Greninja serves as a potentially lethal cleaner due to the significant boost to Speed and Special Attack granted by Battle Bond, being able to slice through weakened defensive cores and outspeed revenge killers such as Choice Scarf Kartana, Choice Scarf Tapu Lele, and Tapu Koko. Surf, despite being weaker than Hydro Pump, is a solid option due to its reliability, while Hydro Pump is a stronger alternative despite its lower accuracy, as it allows Greninja to OHKO targets such as Mega Charizard Y under sun. Dark Pulse gives Greninja a strong neutral STAB move to hit common Water-resistant Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Toxapex, and Rotom-W, additionally wielding a nasty flinch chance to potentially break through them. Water Shuriken gives Greninja a priority option, crucial for revenge killing weakened targets that outspeed it like Tapu Koko and Mega Lopunny, as well as getting the jump on other priority moves such as Weavile's Ice Shard and the aforementioned Mega Lopunny's Quick Attack. Ice Beam is Greninja's coverage move of choice, being its strongest option versus Pokemon like Zapdos, Tornadus-T, and Dragonite. Tera Water is the preferred Tera type, giving a significant boost to both of Greninja's Water-type STAB moves to potentially secure KOs on targets like Mega Charizard Y in sun and Tapu Lele after a Battle Bond activation with Surf. Greninja can also serve as a potent albeit niche wallbreaker on rain teams, with rain boosting the power of its Water-type STAB moves to ridiculous levels. This allows teammates like Mega Swampert and Zapdos to clean up the weakened defensive cores consisting of Pokemon like Rotom-W and Galarian Slowking. However, Greninja alone can struggle to break through sturdier Water-resistant foes like Tera Water Garganacl, Toxapex, and Ferrothorn, so teammates like Tapu Koko, Gholdengo, and Heatran that can capitalize on Greninja forcing these foes in function well as teammates on certain offensive compositions.

Greninja serves as a potentially lethal cleaner due to the significant boost to speed and special attack granted by Battle Bond, being able to slice through weakened defensive cores and outspeed common revenge killing options such as Choice Scarf Kartana, Choice Scarf Tapu Lele, and Tapu Koko. Surf, despite weaker, is a solid option for Greninja's Water-type STAB of choice due to its reliability, while Hydro Pump is a stronger alternative despite its lower accuracy are there any specific calcs that differentiate hydro pump? it would useful to mention here (such as potentially not needing tera to break through Mega Zard Y at +1. Dark Pulse gives Greninja a strong neutral STAB to hit common Water-resistant Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Toxapex, and Rotom-W, additionally wielding a nasty flinch chance to potentially break through them. Water Shuriken gives Greninja an appreciated priority option crucial to revenge killing weakened targets whom outspeed it like Tapu Koko and Mega Lopunny, as well as getting the jump on other priority options such as Weavile's Ice Shard and the aforementioned Mega Lopunny's Quick Attack. Ice Beam is Greninja's coverage move of choice, being its strongest option versus Pokemon like Zapdos, Tornadus-T, and Dragonite. Tera Water is the preferred Tera option, giving a significant boost to both of Greninja's Water STABs to potentially secure KOs on targets like Mega Charizard Y in sun and Tapu Lele after a Battle Bond activation with Surf. Greninja can also serve as a potent, albeit niche breaker on rain teams, boosting the power of its Water STAB to ridiculous levels. This allows teammates like Mega Swampert and Zapdos to clean up the weakened defensive cores consisting of Pokemon like Rotom-W and Galarian Slowking. However, Greninja alone can struggle to break through sturdier Water-resists like Tera Water Garganacl, Toxapex, and Ferrothorn so teammates like Tapu Koko, Gholdengo, and Heatran you mention these mons but none of them are rain related, maybe mention other teamstyles as well? also potentially add baxcalibur here since its another mon that can overwhelm pex / ferro / garg who can capitalize on Greninja forcing these foes in function well as teammates.

implemented, go ahead Milak

i chose to omit just a few tweaks, i very well may be wrong but ill give my explanations as to why rq below

i feel it is inferred when talking about boosts granted by Battle Bond that it means after the KO, this is kinda shaky and id be open to changing it tho
1697293669466.png

chose not to include this bc surf isnt necessarily the move of choice, both are equally good options w/ different benchmarks & drawbacks
1697293760362.png

the cores being weakened by Greninja is just inferred by the content of the analysis imo

thank you so much for the check, keep up the good work fintans. (not sure why my spoilers are cloning but hopefully still readable)
