Not A Bug Baton Pass can pass Speed stat changes

I’m just confused as the highest speed that cloyster can have is 160 but it was out speeding my Lunatone at 165 speed and my Nidoqueen at 172 speed. The Cloyster had leftovers equipped not a quick claw

Are you able to replicate it? If so, how?
I don’t think it’s replicable on the user end

Also I made sure my Pokémon were actually at their top speed and I wasn’t just reading the highest possible speed range

Cloyster was at +2 speed from Ariados' Baton pass. This is not a bug.
