Barraskewda @ Choice Band
Name: Choice Band
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Liquidation
- Flip Turn
- Close Combat / Ice Fang
- Psychic Fangs / Crunch

[SET COMMENTS]
Barraskewda is a potent wallbreaker due to it's blazing Speed tier, outpacing Flutter Mane and Chien Pao, a great Attack stat, and its ability, Swift Swim, heavily threatening teams with no sturdy resistances to Water like Dark, Fairy, and Flying. Flip Turn forms a pivoting core with teammates like Rotom-W, Pelipper, and Greninja, slowly chipping away at switch-ins like Rotom-W, Corviknight, and Dragonite. Close Combat hits Water-resistant Steel-types like Hisuian Goodra and Empoleon. Ice Fang may be used to hit Dragon-types such as Garchomp and Dragonite. Psychic Fangs nails common switch-ins such as Toxapex, Amoonguss, and Kommo-o, as well as removes dual screens in the Fairy matchup. Alternatively, Crunch may be used to break Sinistcha, Brambleghast, and Dragapult. A Jolly nature is preferred to outpace Flutter Mane and Chien-Pao outside of rain; however, Barraskewda may opt for an Adamant nature to notably 2HKO Baxcalibur and Zamazenta in rain with Liquidation.

Pelipper sets rain for Barraskewda and brings it in safely with U-turn, as well as weakens walls like Corviknight, Amoonguss, and Toxapex with a Choice Specs set. Gastrodon and Quagsire provide entry hazards and an Electric immunity, allowing Gastrodon to switch into Regieleki and Sandy Shocks while Quagsire walls Iron Hands, Pawmot, and Magnezone. In return, Barraskewda lures in aforementioned Grass-types like Amoonguss and Brambleghast and removes them with the corresponding coverage moves. Toxapex provides a Grass neutrality, notably walling Meowscarada and Ogerpon-W, and offers entry hazards to wear down Barraskewda checks, while Barraskewda removes Ground-types like Landorus, Gliscor, and Mamoswine for it. Empoleon sets up Stealth Rock to wear down Barraskewda's checks as well as walls Dragon-types like Walking Wake and Kommo-o lacking adequate Fighting-type coverage. Quaquaval offers entry hazard removal with Rapid Spin and switches into Steel-types like Empoleon, Hisuian Goodra, and Kingambit. Hisuian Samurott threatens Ghost- and Psychic-type Pokemon like Brambleghast, Slowbro, and Sinistcha while also providing utility support with Knock Off and Spikes set up via Ceaseless Edge. Urshifu-R is great in the Steel and Dark matchups, threatening Hisuian Goodra, Empoleon, and Kingambit. Manaphy forms a wallbreaking core with Barraskewda in the Poison and Steel matchups, taking out Corviknight, Toxapex, and Amoonguss for Barraskewda, while Barraskweda hits Galarian Slowking and Alolan Muk in return. Choice Scarf Walking Wake is great in the Dragon matchup, notably outpacing and removing Baxcalibur, Dragapult, and Kommo-o, while a Choice Specs set weakens walls like Toxapex, Hisuian Goodra, and Slowbro. Basculegion-F is a huge asset in the Ghost and Psychic matchups, taking out Sinistcha, Slowbro, and Brambleghast.

=============
Waterfall may be used to flinch switch-ins, such as Rotom-W, Corviknight, and Mandibuzz, to add extra chip damage; however, Liquidation has a higher Base Power and may provide a Defense drop, significantly hindering their ability to wall Barraskewda.

Barraskewda is a potent wallbreaker due to it's blazing Speed tier, a great Attack stat, and it's ability Swift Swim, heavily threatening teams with no sturdy Water-type resists like Dark, Fairy, and Flying (notably, its premium speedtier lets it outspeed Pao and FM even outside rain, which is sort of why you'd use it over Float or Basc-F). Liquidation's chance to lower the foe's Defense allows Barraskewda to situationally 2HKO Dragapult and Corviknight outside of Rain as well as Brambleghast in Rain, while Waterfall offers a chance to muscle past walls with flinches.(would suggest moving Waterfall to OO, Liquidation being stronger vs Flinching can mean life or death for Barra) Flip Turn forms a pivoting core with teammates like Rotom-W, Pelipper, and Greninja, slowly chipping away at switch-ins (who, specifically) with no recovery. Close Combat hits Water-type resistant Steel- and Dark-types like Hisuian Goodra, Empoleon, Roaring Moon, and Hisuian Samurott (these two dont swap into you, mention it hitting pao pao even outside of rain tho). Psychic Fangs nails common switch-ins such as Toxapex, Amoonguss, and Kommo-o (also removes screens, would be nice in the fairy matchup). Alternatively, Crunch may be used to break non-Colbur Berry SlowbroSinistcha, Brambleghast, and Dragapult. A Jolly nature is preffered preferred to outpace Flutter Mane and Chien-Pao outside of Rain, however, Barraskewda may opt for an Adamant nature to notably 2HKO Baxcalibur in rain with Liquidation (also 2HKO'es Azumarill, and would 2HKO Zamazenta).

Toxapex and Empoleon provide a Grass-type neutrality, notably walling Meowscarada and Ogerpon-W (respectively not needed, pex does Oger-W better while Empo for special attacks instead), respectively, and offer entry hazards to wear down Barraskewda checks, while Barraskewda removes Ground-types like Landorus, Gliscor, and Mamoswine for them. Choice Scarf Walking Wake is great in the Dragon matchup, notably outpacing and removing Baxcalibur, Dragapult, and Kommo-o while a Choice Specs set weakens walls like Toxapex, Hisuian Goodra, and Slowbro. Aqua Jet is another option for Barraskewda to out prioritize Sucker Punch users like Chien-Pao, Kingambit, and Urshifu in a pinch and pick off faster targets outside of Rain, however, Barraskewda heavily values coverage and is already a very fast Pokemon, especially in Rain.

Barraskewda is a potent wallbreaker due to it's blazing Speed tier (mention the outspeed FM Chien Pao thing as early as here, since its really important), a great Attack stat, and it's ability Swift Swim, heavily threatening teams with no sturdy Water-type resists like Dark, Fairy, and Flying. Flip Turn forms a pivoting core with teammates like Rotom-W, Pelipper, and Greninja, slowly chipping away at switch-ins like Rotom-W (corv, Pex, and dnite?). Psychic Fangs nails common switch-ins such as Toxapex, Amoonguss, and Kommo-o as well as removes dual screens in the Fairy matchup. Gastrodon and Quagsire provide entry hazards and an Electric-type immunity, switching into threats like Regieleki, Iron Hands, and Zapdos (can probably separate since one is a spc wall that can stand up to zapdos and the other is a phys wall that is unaware + Gast can run ebutton to get him in too). In return, Barraskewda lures in aforementioned Grass-types like Amoonguss and Brambleghast and removes them with the according coverage moves. Toxapex and Empoleon provide a Grass-type neutrality, notably walling Meowscarada and Ogerpon-W (empo doesnt deal with meow and pon, as I said earlier its more for steel types + select dragon types [like wake]) and offer entry hazards to wear down Barraskewda checks, while Barraskewda removes Ground-types like Landorus, Gliscor, and Mamoswine for them. Choice Scarf Walking Wake is great in the Dragon matchup, notably outpacing and removing Baxcalibur, Dragapult, and Kommo-o while a Choice Specs set weakens walls like Toxapex, Hisuian Goodra, and Slowbro (move wake to after mana/urshi). Hisuian Samurott threatens Ghost- and Psychic-type Pokemon like Brambleghast, Slowbro, and Sinistcha whilst also providing utility support via Ceaseless Edge setting up Spikes for Barraskewda and Knock Off. Urshifu-R and Manaphy are capable of removing walls like Gastrodon, Toxapex, and Amoonguss (shifu doesnt, its more for steel and dark, while mana is steel and poison), easing the Poison matchup for Barraskewda. Basculegion-F is a huge asset in the Ghost and Psychic matchups, taking out Sinistcha, Slowbro, and Brambleghast.

I had a check on this but just gonna comment and speed run this:

- Remove Aqua from OO. Add Waterfall to OO and explain that instead
- Add Ice Fang on CC Slash (Comments hits absorb quag chomp dnite etc)
- Liquidation is very weird vs Azumarill so the 2hko part is weird because the scenario is screens will be up and azumarill runs sitrus so is it really a 2hko if it can opt for HP invest and it just recovers the health
