Slowking is a formidable specially defensive pivot that uses its good defensive typing, wide coverage, and ability to pivot with Flip Turn to check threats like Keldeo, Latios, and Heatran. With Assault Vest, Slowking can check a plethora of special attackers like Alakazam, Heatran, and Cloyster. Flip Turn helps Slowking gain momentum against switch-ins like Hydreigon, Rotom-W, and Kyurem by bringing in the likes of Terrakion, Aerodactyl, and other attackers that struggle with switching in safely. Flip Turn also helps Slowking check setup sweepers it cannot beat on its own, like Clefable and Sylveon, by pivoting in powerful wallbreakers like Nidoking and Melmetal to force them out. Future Sight helps Slowking's teammates break through their checks. Steam Eruption does heavy damage to neutral targets like Clefable and Tornadus-T and can threaten burns against physical attackers attempting to switch in like Rillaboom and Dracozolt. Scald can also be used, as while it's noticeably weaker, its higher PP count is better suited for bulkier teams. Grass Knot lets Slowking hit Seismitoad, which otherwise threatens to wall and potentially trap Slowking. Flamethrower can be run to catch Ferrothorn off guard and check Cotton Guard variants. Lastly, Psystrike is a solid STAB move that lets Slowking do immediate damage to Toxapex and Urshifu-R, but gives up a coverage option. The EV spread lets Slowking avoid the 2HKO from offensive Tornadus-T and +1 Urshifu-R's Close Combat, while the rest is put in Special Defense to be a better special pivot. Offensive threats like Aerodactyl and Kyurem that struggle to get onto the field safely appreciate Slowking'(apostrophe)s pivoting support. As a special wall, Slowking is noticeably weaker on the physical side against physical attackers like Aerodactyl, Rillaboom, and Terrakion; physically defensive teammates like Ferrothorn and Buzzwole can help patch this weakness up. The latter can also switch into Dark-types like Tyranitar and Weavile, which otherwise pressure Slowking immensely. Slowking is usually unable to KO Calm Mind sweepers like Reuniclus and Clefable, so it needs a teammate to pivot to like Melmetal, Tyranitar, or Nidoking that can break through them. Electric-types like Zeraora and Thundurus-T pressure Slowking heavily, so checks to these like Mudsdale, Ferrothorn, and Tyranitar are great teammates. Lastly, physical wallbreakers like Urshifu-R and Cinderace really appreciate Slowking's Future Sight support to pressure switch-ins like Toxapex, Rotom-W, and Mudsdale.

Slowking is a formidable tank, thanks to its good defensive typing letting it check threats like Keldeo, Latios, and Heatran and deal good damage in return thanks to its good special attack stat and wide movepool. Furthermore, alongside an Assault Vest it can check a plethora of special attackers like CM Clefable and Cloyster. Steam Eruption does heavy damage to neutral threats like Clefable and Tornadus-T, and can threaten burns against physical attackers attempting to switch in like Rillaboom or Dracozolt. Scald can also be used, as while its noticeably weaker its higher PP count is better suited for bulkier teams. Future Sight helps Slowkings teammates break through their checks. "Flip Turn can be used to Flip Turn out" u are better than this pannu... into said teammates, putting them in a good position to freely attack the enemy name the mons you're flipping on and the mons you're bringing in. Grass knot lets Slowking hit Seismitoad and Urshifu-R urshifu-r isn't taking steam/scald tbh. lets be honest grass knot is only run to hit seismitoad so i'd write more on that; toad is immune to flip and can trap you if you dont run gknot yadda yadda. Flamethrower can be run to catch Ferrothorn off-guard. Lastly, Psytrike lets Slowking do immediate damage to Toxapex and Urshifu-R, while generally being a solid STAB-move, however it gives up the slot for an extra coverage move id cut this whole "however" part of the sentence. The EV spread helps Slowking check what it needs to check, be offensively threatening, and help it not immediately fold to physical attackers like Seismitoad or Mudsdale and take hits like Reuniclus Psystrike and Keldeos Secret Sword better. As well as make its Flip Turns as slow as possible. this isnt sufficient for an analysis imo; change the spread to something with clearly defined benchmarks, idc what it is as long as it has those tbh but here's my suggestion: EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 144 SpA / 64 SpD sassy
enough def to tank two ccs from band/+1 no retreat urshifu-rs, enough spatk to 2HKO offensive torn-t, rest in spdef to maximise chances of living two hurricanes from np torn-t and generally improve its bulk into mons like keldeo and rotom-h.
feel free to check w/ rest of qc because i might just be being dumb tho
also if you do this specific spread you should probably unslash scald and move it to set comments bc running scald makes spatk investment pretty much useless, it hits like a french baton

Offensive threats like Aerodactyl and Kyurem that struggle to get onto the field safely appreciate Slowkings pivoting support. As a special wall, Slowking is noticeably weaker on the physical side; Physically defensive teammates like Ferrothorn and Buzzwole can help patch this weakness up. The latter can also switch into Dark-types like Tyranitar and Weavile, which otherwise pressure Slowking immensely. imo rewrite the last two sentences to clarify which physical attackers in particular pressure slowking - i think it'll read better especially because ferrothorn is a pretty good psuedo dark resist. Slowking is usually unable to KO Calm Mind sweepers like Reuniclus or Clefable that it wants to check, so being able to pivot into a Pokemon that is able to KO them like Melmetal, Tyranitar, or Nidoking is good. Lastly, physical breakers like Urshifu-R and Cinderace really appreciate its Future Sight Support. to pressure switchins like _

I'll ask you to change move order; it should be #1 Flip, #2 Future Sight, #3 Water-type move, #4 GK / Flamthrower / Psystrike. This order avoids to have the #1 move being slashed, which is not good, given Steam vs Scald is a "minor" modification to the set. Everything else is good !

Slowking is a formidable tank specially defensive pivot For me saying Slowking is a tank is a bit inaccurate; a Pokémon that is a tank is bulky and mean to fire off strong attacks despite being slow, and it doesn't heal. Slowking heal and its damage are modest tbh, thanks to its good defensive typing letting it check threats like Keldeo, Latios, and Heatran and either deal good damage in return thanks to its good special attack stat and 100 spa non-invested feels meh in STABmons nowdays wide movepool or pivoting out with Flip Turn. Furthermore, alongside an Assault Vest it can check a plethora of special attackers like CM Clefable Alakazam and Cloyster. Slowking doesn't beat Clef, does it? It seems like Clefable can just shrug off its attack, so I don't see this point. Also given your example and the fact that you listed basic special attacker just before, I assume you're actually talking about special set-up sweepers? Steam Eruption does heavy damage to neutral threats like Clefable and Tornadus-T, and can threaten burns against physical attackers attempting to switch in like Rillaboom or Dracozolt. Scald can also be used, as while its noticeably weaker its higher PP count is better suited for bulkier teams. Future Sight helps Slowkings teammates break through their checks. Flip Turn helps Slowking gain momentum against switch-ins like Hydreigon, Rotom-W, and Kyurem and bring in the likes of Terrakion, Aerodactyl, or other attackers that struggle with switching in safely. Scald can also be used, as while its noticeably weaker its higher PP count is better suited for bulkier teams. We're moving it, to reflect the new move order. Fine otherwise! Grass Knot lets Slowking hit Seismitoad which otherwise threatens to wall and potentially trap Slowking. Should be mentionned that Gastrodon is too bulky anyway and Rotom-W is too light Flamethrower can be run to catch Ferrothorn off-guard. Mention how Slowking can act as a check to Cotton Press + Body Press Ferro Lastly, Psytrike Psystrike lets Slowking do immediate damage to Toxapex and Urshifu-R, while generally being a solid STAB-move, (is something missing ?) gives up the slot for an extra coverage move. The EV spread lets it tank two boosted Urshifu Close Combats, 2HKO offensive Tornadus-T, while the rest is put in special defense to be a better special pivot.

I think it would be nice to list checks to Electric-types. TTAR, Steelix, Rotom-H came to mind but you can find other, sure. Lastly, physical breakers like Urshifu-R and Cinderace really appreciate its Future Sight Support to pressure switch-ins like Toxapex, Rotom-W, and Mudsdale.
