As soon as the round begins, Niles waits for the mushroom to make a move. And move Raff does, as he sends over a cloud of spores which cause the recipient to fall asleep. The Monohm, seizing the oppurtunity, creates a wicked tornado and spins away the spores, which land harmlessly on the ground.

Still sparking from his accumulated energy boosts, Niles fires off an extremely powerful thunderbolt which strikes the Amoongus solidly. However, Raff ignores the attack and instead seems to grow a bit taller, which should boost his attacking prowess.

As the mushroom utilizes his increased height, starting to grab some momentum aiming to roll towards the Monohm, Niles simply sits and waits as the first roll hits him, relaxing its muscles in an attempt to regain some energy.

that isn't very fun

start off by using twister combined with flamethrower to make one of those cool tornadoes of doom and finish up by using dragon pulse

Ok Raff- I repect you more- first, while it's starting to make a twister, hit it with another rollout, and when the infrenado comes your way, rollout like a figure-8 so you can go around it and hit it. Lastly, while it sets off a dragon pulse, which will hit us no matter what, hit it with a head-on rollout.

Rollout - Rollout like a figure-8 - Rollout

The round begins with the Amoongus spinning like a top. But a poorly designed top, as it keeps rolling over and over and over. As he spins towards the Monohm Niles is prepared to take the hit and just starts to prepare a savage tornado. The wind starts blowing, swirling, gusting, but taking no notice, Raff slams into Niles, going faster every second.

As the mushroom bounces back, he spins backwards in order to turn around and keep his momentum, but the cloud-sheep takes advantage of this by shooting a flamethrower into the rapidly-growing twister! Raff tries to roll in a figure 8 around it, but doesn't have very good directional skills as he is madly disoriented, and only manages to dodge partially. However he keeps going and slams into the Monohm, with even greater force then before.

Angered, the Monohm shoots of a wave of mystical energy which forms into a circular pulse, which clearly does damage to Raff but he's spinning to much to notice. He comes around for the last hit he can muster, slamming head-on into Niles and causing both combatants to be knocked backwards. Both land in a ready position, prepared to finish the battle.

try to use sonicboom to get it off you, if that fails and you survive chill and follow up with flamethrower

if this doesn't work you did a solid job setting up for our next pokemon n.n

The round begins with the cloud sheep confusing the Amoongus with a Sonicboom from all sides, but the mushroom is able to strike through the sound and rolls directly towards Niles. Unable to get out of the way quickly enough, the rolling Raff strikes him solidly and Niles staggers backwards and falls to the ground.

bringing out my nohface matthew to finish this

let's go ahead and start out by using will-o-wisp on the confused mushroom and follow up with faint attack and finally leer. If it keeps using rollout, avoid it with dig after the first action.

I'm so close to forfeiting this.

OK Raff, there's not much nope left, but....
Spore it no matter what. Then, give it a Stun Spore and an Energy Ball.

Spore - Stun Spore/Spore - Energy Ball/Spore/Stun Spore

Upset at the fainting of Monohm (despite the fact that it was bound to happen anyways), Goldenknight calms himself and casually tosses out another Pokeball. Upon hitting the ground it releases a shower of blue light, from which appears Matthew the Nohface!

Scratching the ground, Matthew immediately fires off a light blue ball of flame which overs in front of the Foongus, forcing it to keep back. Unheeding, Raff shoots out a cloud of spores which float over to Matthew and, as they exude scents, drug him to sleep.

As he dozes away, the Foongus suffers a blow to his honor as he takes advantage of a sleeping opponent and shoots out another spore cloud. This time, the particles stuff up when they reach the Nohface's joints, making it harder for him to move.

To finish off the round with some momentum, Raff draws energy from the grass around them and condenses it into a ball of pure energy, which he releases towards Matthew. Dozing away, the Nohface takes the hit, but begins to stir...

rawr hello Raff long time no see ^_^ *evil grin* ^_^

Taking advantage of Matthew's not really deep, snoring slumber, Raff roots himself on the ground and chills. He's a bit refreshed now, but can he end the fight?

Not wasting any time, Raff creates some grassy energy, shapes it into a ball, and blasts it at Matthew. Clink! It didn't seem to affect Matthew that much at all, but it seems he has awoken from his sleep. As he has just woken up, Matthew opens his hollow mouth and Yawns loudly at the invading Raff, making him all the more drowsy!

In desperation to get even more damage in, Raff throws another Energy Ball upon Matthew. The attack bloops and shatters on the Matthew's "steel", making him even more awake and alert. It's not like Matthew has the time to play baseball, Raff! I don't even see a bat! In response, he... doesn't really attack. He stares down at Raff and creates a Leering effect. Nohface's twin red eyes have increasingly become larger and larger, almost as if they're planets! This must have left Raff more physically vulnerable!

At the end, it looks like Raff's getting more tired and worn out, but Matthew is still pretty healthy despite the paralysis. Will Raff make some kind of comeback, or will Matthew utterly destroy him? Stay tuned for more!

Even at the brink of destruction, Raff thinks stalling is fun and goes for a Spore, which puts Matthew to sleep (Light Sleep). Matthew shivers in paralysis anyway, but the fact that he has to deal with a forced sleep doesn't do him any good either!

Raff uses the somewhat "free" turn to chill and increase his energy. Uh-oh, Matthew wakes up right after and thanks the new sleep mechanics for nerfing sleep. He comes right at Raff for a smashing Meteor Mash, which hits so hard it increases Matthew's Attack stat! Raff's just getting more broken and broken! So broken that he falls into a deep coma... or sleep (Light Sleep)!

It's getting pretty peaceful now - there's Raff just snoozing away and Matthew being a sneaky bastard. He just seems to be fainting into a nasty attack that slaps Raff hard on his back cap, bruising it a bit. This surprises Raff so much that he yoinks his eyes open in winching pain! Nah, he's still sleeping though, as he shuts his right back down.

The last round of the match! Poor pitiful sad Raff... will he ever become big?

On a final attempt of surviving, Raff sprays particles of Spores throughout the stadium, which Matthew gets in contact with and falls asleep (Light Sleep). SNORE!!!! SNORE!!!!! SNORE!!!!!!!!!!!

Since his trainer didn't give him any other order, Raff creates another Spore upon the already sleeping Matthew, making him... more sleepy? I don't see how... but it appears Matthew just woke up from his soshort sleep and slaps Raff on the face with a Faint Attack. Upon contact, Raff feels like he just got hit by a stray baseball and collapses into a deep, long faint, as if it's all over. The burn subsides into an eerie wind that travels into another generation of clans and battles... for another time.

STRIKE! YOU'RE OUT!!
