Well gentlemen, you're in luck. Normally in taking your extended rest, the ash clouds would part and reveal the visage of a certain robotic ass, but we're putting a freeze on ill winds due to your situation. Just don't abuse it.

Anyway, the lot of you take a spell to rest, rejuvenate, and otherwise recharge your batteries. The cave lies ahead.

Team Magma Hideout - Entryway

It starts to get rather warm as you step into the cavern. Mining equipment can be seen all around, long abandoned. Although there are no lights, you are not so far from the entrance that you can't see a familiar plaque - one depicting the insignia of the now defunct Team Magma; this must have been their base back when they were active. The path further into the base seems to have caved in some time ago, but you notice a faint light at the far end of the room, seeping through cracks in the wall, next to an iron door, firmly shut. Maybe this is the entrance to the shrine you've been looking for?

Gallade: Try to open Iron Door
IF
The door opens THEN don't open it all the way and try to see if there is anything dangerous behind it.
IF A hole on the wall is successfully opened THEN Chill
Frosty: Pick a Pickaxe and hit the cracks on the wall

Someone manages to create a hole big enough for it to see the other side THEN don't open it all the way and try to see if there is anything dangerous through it.
IF The Door is successfully opened THEN Chill
IF Attacked THEN Stop hitting the wall and Intimidate

Clefable: Heal Pulse (Gallade) while they are working, and Chill if they haven't completed the task for long.

Roark: Switch on the 1000 Lumen LED headlamp and start looking through the Mining equipment; Find a Pickaxe and start working on the wall near Frosty.
IF the hole is big enough for you, then jump right through it to face the music.
 
While Roark and Frosty swipe a pair of pickaxes and attempt to break open that wall, Ravio attempts to push the door open, while Meena tries to heal the Gallade up.

Unfortunately, that big slab of metal just won't budge, not even for a fighting-type's strength. Thankfully, however, your mining attempt bears fruit, and the cracks in the wall give way to what appears to be a second entrance into the shrine of ruin.

And goddamn, is it hot in there...

Clefable: Chill while Roark, Frosty and Ravio clear the debris and move into the second entrance of the shrine of ruin; and then follow them into the entrance.

Roark: Keep the 1000 Lumen LED headlamp ON and lead the group carefully through the debris from the broken wall; Carry the Pickaxe as an item to use in battle if it would add a BAP to your physical contact attacks, otherwise place the Pickaxe next to the broken wall inside the second entrance of the shrine of ruin and start leading the team into the shrine of ruin.

IF Any creature attacks, THEN shield the group and use Rock Tomb on the creature.
